You get what you expect
I had a previous good experience buying at Gamboa. Recently I have ordered a tokilla hat. I wasn't certain what will I really get because the photo cannot give you a clear idea of the product. I have first received a wrong size. After notifying it to Gamboa they swiftly sent me the right size and the product really looks marvellous.

Caught by rising prices
I love their hats. Sadly they shipped one in a damaged Gamboa box, with a hat that was crunched. The outer box had no damage, so it was damaged when they shipped it. They were good about refunding me the money, but in the 6 days since I ordered, the hat went from $69 to $109. I think I should have gotten the hat I ordered at the price I had paid.

Christmas present
I received a zip up sweater as a Christmas gift. The first time I tried it on the zipper tore away. I filled out the exchange upload the company provides. I emailed the company. I phoned them twice. I got no response. I would not buy from this company under any circumstance. They have no integrity whatsoever. The reviews I left on the company website didn’t show up there. They only display the five and four star reviews. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
After interacting with this company after I left a bad review here and they replied, I stand by this review. They don’t put up the reviews left on their website that are less than four. They don’t put out a good product. There are many great alpaca products from other companies. I would not purchase from this company again, especially for a gift.
The company ended up giving my husband a refund for this sweater. I still would not buy from them again, especially for a gift as their exchange policy is very limited.
