I wonder to myself if the five star reviews are 'self-reviews'. This company is fraudulent. Turned up for my flights with small children, late at night, and there were none booked.
Airline representative of Lufthansa said to avoid using this company as there have been many such cases as mine.

Worst Service you could ever expect. I tried to call the Service Center 3 days. I was placed in the line about for more over an hour (11 minutes waiting time was scheduled) and nothing happend. On the third day I was connected to an Operator. He told me, that fluege.de is not responsible. I have to call a subsidiary of fluege.de.

I ordered a insurance to change the flight for 49,99€. The subsidiray told my, that a change of the flight is impossible from the beginning of my booking. That means, fluege.de sold my something I could never occupy. That is a fraud. I have involved the german department for customer protection.

The hidden service fee which is added in the very end of the booking process is consciously misleading the customers into thinking that they would get a fair offer.

It's a rip off and a disgrace. In the end you will pay up to 30% extra for sending off your booking through fluege.de when compared to booking directly through the airline.

BEWARE - NEVER BOOK WITH FLUEGE.DE !!!

I booked a flight from them because it was the cheapest around.
They offered an option upon booking to have a "better customer service in case of something went wrong" for some amount of fee.

I did not get the option. I know calling a company like this costs some extra cents per minute but what's the odd of needing such a service, right?

Wrong.
It looked as if I booked the flight. But then I got an email from them saying my credit card didn't go through. It is usable anywhere else, and there was nothing wrong with the credit card or the associated account.

Now they want 10 Euros to retry the transaction with the same card, 20 Euros to try another card and then 100 Euros to cancel this.
I bet they did not attempt to charge my card in the first place because I did not book their customer service option.

They are basically forcing you to get this extra customer service option and otherwise, you end up with their "my way or high way."

Personally I was very disappointed something like this could happen in Germany.

After my credit card bounced back, there was not a single possibility to change the payment method either by email, online or telephone. Customer service is fully automated and the option to speak to a real person and send them credit card details is impossible.

Instead I was charged 100€ for not providing a new payment method and my ticket was cancelled just a couple of hours after I had been asked for a replacement of my payment method. This happened even though I was given a couple of days period to change my payment method.

I just called Fluge.de to ask a question about a booking. The customer representative refused to speak English to me, despite the fact that she could clearly understand everything. She told me that since I live in Germany I should speak the language otherwise I get no service. and when I asked to talk to her supervisor, she said the supervisor is not available. This is unbelievable to me, and I can't comprehend how Fluge.de can treat their customers this way. Never do business with them; this is not the first bad story about this company.

Last week, my boyfriend and I booked a flight to Nepal from Germany through skyscanner who brought us to this booking platform, fluege.de...after going through an array of different money grabbing side purchases we eventually got to the booking page and confirmed the flight. After paying we got a booking confirmation number and an online account to manage our flight was established. Straight away as with any airline company we hoped to get an email confirming the booking and after not receiving anything we seemed a little apprehensive but hoped it would arrive. On the booking site it says to please allow 48 hours to receive your e-tickets...nervously we waiting checking emails regularly and also our bank account. After 48 hours the money still wasn't deducted from the account and no email confirming the booking was received, all the while the flight prices increasing daily with other airlines. So we decided to contact them. This was a mission in itself. After trying to ring for twenty minutes we were lucky to get through to the customer service guy who in fairness was lovely and very obliging. After telling him the details of our flight however we were shocked and appalled to learn that fluege.de had not even reserved the flight, even though they had all our details, then they said that they would book it now but already the flight had gone up by 200 euro and also for some insane reason if we wanted to pay with the same card we had tried to pay with previously it was an extra 10 euros. Absolutely outraged we cancelled the booking which the representative said he would do for free and send us an email confirming the cancellation, which we still have not received. Really disappointed with this company, seems like a spam site and if you don't choose any extras they try to get you with the 'something went wrong trick' and only inform you when the prices went up a few hundred euros.

In addition, if we hadn't have called, the company wouldn't have informed us as the representative said, he was just going to cancel the flight.

Let this be a lesson to all.

I booked a flight from german site fluege.de for OTP - JFK - OTP and instead of my name I wrote my first name. I called/emailed company for several times in order to fix the issue and I also offered to pay a tax for this change. After repeated extremely unfriendly telephone contacts and waiting times of more then 20 minutes nobody wanted to help me and I was offered a 13 euros refund for a 500 payed.

As a result I had to buy another flight.

I wont recomande to anyone.

Horrible service. Three days after we bought a ticket they sent an email saying that it would be 40 more euros per person. We answered saying that that was ok. 5 days later they sent an email saying that they couldn't get our tickets.

We wanted to book our tickets for our summer Holiday with tickets from Hamburg. For some reason, their system changed our tickets to Hannover which is far to long for us to drive.
I tried to call immidiately, but due to Holiday and weekend, I took 4 days before I could reach anyone by phone.
The person I talked to was totally unwilling to help, there was NO understanding at all and it cost me an additional 15 euro just to be told, that we could get less than half the ticket Price back if we cancelled.

I have never experienced such POOR service in Germany, we have always flown from Germany due to their hign service level, but we will NEVER Again use fluege.de!
I am shocked at how bad service they provide, it cannot be the first time someone had wrong tickets because our fluege.de's system changing the airport.

they didn't send me the E-ticket, I sent them two emails with no response and I can't log in to their system + if you call the call center you will just waste hours of your life waiting for nothing!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!!

They just boldly added a fee of 25€ per flight to the bill and support could not be reached via email. Stay away from this site.
Also, everybody who rated this 5 stars is either not aware that they got scammed or the reviews were written by the flüge.de guys themselves

I regularly use fluege.de to search for plane tickets and I always find the site clear, easy and fast to use. It also has great deals available and is one of the best sites in terms of prices.

So far I had always booked my tickets with a travel agent until my son assured me that online booking was safe and quick and equally reasonably priced.
I have booked two international flights since then and I am happy with the service and would recommend it gladly.

I am content about that. Good communication, fast response. I recomend 2.500 %.

Read the response from the company below. I provided the booking number as they asked, but nothing has been done, not even a reply to my emails! This company does not hesitate to lie, even on this site!

I have written 2 Reklamation to your customer service, but NO answer.

01.08.14 I have booked the flight for 8.08.14 and I received the confirmation that it was OK. After that they asked me by email to send them copies of my ID and Visa card, that I did the at 12:30 p.m. the same day, the 1st of August.
After that a long silence.
So the 5.08.14 I checked checkmytrip.com and found that my booking was canceled!!!
Immidiatly I called the Fluege.de (3 times) and each time it was the new version:
-problem with my Visa
-I did nor sent them documents (but I received their confirmation email!!!)
-the price rose (of course, the 5th of August it was not the same price!!!).
Unfortunatly for them, they could not explain me WHY they did not send me email the 1st or the 2nd of August, and it was necesary to call them for to receive the different 3 answers.
Never more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The worst company I ever met!!!
Be careful not to remain without tickets three days before the trip!!!

it is an easy and well overlooked website for book flights, only i ask myself why i must pay for booking with visa. Also it is at the end of your booking that they show that i must pay for visa.
