Buyer beware of inaccurate product description
Have used this company now for a few years, the hastle free ordering, value for money and speedy delivery has always been great. But this time I ordered the premium hardwood crate which is supposed to be their best product, hardest, longest and cleanest burning wood. Unfortunately I do not find this the case, other products they sell for a less premium price are better than this. Some of the logs are deffinately not hard wood, you can tell by the weight, feel and look and by how quickly it's burnt and the soot it leaves. I will not be buying this particular product again.

A much better delivery experience, but an extortionate price! The problem is with oil, not wood - profiteering!
A much better delivery experience with a different haulier!
The wood is as I would expect and previously experienced, nice and dry and well protected from the elements, as it was a very windy and showery day.
The only gripe I have got is with the cost of it. It has nearly doubled in price since my last order. The problem is with oil not wood - profiteering comes to mind! I asked for an explanation, but no response, I wonder why?

Driver was very friendly and efficient
Driver was very friendly and there was no issue moving the crate to the log store at the end of a long drive. Delivery was on time as well.
The wood was good quality and to the right size for stacking.

Not quite 5 star this time as there was about 30 logs which was extra longer than before so don’t fit in our log burner very easily other than that they burn very well
