Heads up SCAMMERS

Heads up, fellow foodies! If you're using #Favor Delivery, it's important to note that the prices listed on the app are "suggested prices" and may not always match the merchant's actual pricing. This means that the final cost of your order could be higher than expected once it's delivered. For example, you might find that your dinner ends up costing $6+ more than what's shown on the app and there was no way to know prior to receiving your order. This Texas-based company (owned and operated by #HEB) is a #Scam! Also, Favor claims that the user has control over the tip amount for their delivery personnel, but this was not my experience. It just goes to show you that scammers are not always apparent and sometimes pose as "respectable" businesses. It's always best to be informed about these details so stay savvy and avoid Favor Delivery!

FAVOR NEEDS TO GET SERIOUS WITH ITS PRICING AND SERVICE!!!

Favor simply IS NOT competitive with the competition which is surprising since they are owned by HEB Grocery. On rare occassions they offer delivery discounts of $6 to $12 credit however thats because they charge up to $12 delivery fees where the compeition is free or maybe $3 to $4 therefore the Favor credits are jokes. Additionally Favor has additional fees for what they call smaller orders which usually offset any delivery credit they may be offering. Compare Favor with its biggest and toughest competitor, UberEats which offers up to 40% off up to $15 on a regular basis plus free delivery on many many restaurants. I only use Favor when I want to order from a peticular restaurant that UberEats doesn't serve otherwise my decision is an easy one. A $20 order from Favor can easily end up $40 plus with delivery fees, additional small order fees and then a tip. I was going to order two (2) sandwiches from Schlotsky's and when I reviewed my order it was going to be almost $40 with delivery and all other fees and I could go and pick up for $16. Favor and HEB needs to evaluate their competition and get serious if they really want to compete.

Best delivery app in Austin

Best delivery app in Austin, Texas. Favor started out in Austin and continues to be my go-to delivery app whenever I'm in a bind and need some extra assistance. I tried other delivery apps but the quality and effort that the runners gave vs Favor runners... was night and day.

Horrible Customer Service

Customer service is extremely hard to reach if you haven't made a food order. I have emailed accounting multiple times for a gift card receipt, and they are unresponsive. They need to have a general customer service number available...

Cold pizza from Mod pizza & forced to tip from Favor delivery

The delivery from mod pizza took more than an hour for favor to find a runner. Then the pizza was cold and barely had any toppings or sauce. Probably the worst pizza delivery I have ever had. I have had mod pizza at another location inside the store and it was really good but this was years ago. And favor forced me to tip the runner which I shouldn't have had to bc that should always be a choice. U tip after u get the delivery and can tip based on things like the temperature of the food etc etc. The favor app had actually tipped $7 from my account but luckily I noticed and lowered it to $2 bc they forced a tip of atleast $2 even though the pizza was cold. I won't ever try to use favor again or go to a mod pizza and I don't recommend either..

Charges you tip without telling you.

At check out, the app didn't show the "tip fee" in the list or total of items. Don't even at check out. but when billed, the app and the email show $5.00 I didn't agree to give away as a tip to the deliverer. Fraudulent app. Stay away!

Terrible Service!

Apparently, Favor does not have the ability to hire drivers with a basic understanding of English. I will not order from Whataburger because of the terrible service. HEB is next.

Placed an order...started out as an…

Placed an order...started out as an affordable order, then realized that they added another $15.00 to the order without my knowledge or approval. Immediately cancelled the order, however, they charged me the $15.00 as a "cancellation fee". These "bait and switch" fees that these delivery companies continue to use to pull you in and then get you in the end are ridiculous. I have asked them how to cancel my account as there are no links or instructions to cancel that I can find on their website. I'm done with them.

I started off using favor during Covid

I started off using favor during Covid. It was an amazing service. Now it’s trash. The last 3 deliveries said “at the store” and after over 1.5 hours each delivery said cancelled. I don’t know what the issue is with the service but it’s gone downhill and I won’t use them again. There are too many options out there to use this app.

Offensive

False information in the commercial with the woman that is new to Texas. It’s meant for those that can connected with the overly simplistic definition of Texas and its people. It’s meant for people from out of state. Would never use this app.

FAVOR DELIVERY - - - SCAM

I opened a new account and placed my first order. As soon as I clicked the pay button got the alert my car had been charged then got an error on the app saying my account was suspended and it showed no order pending. I found it suspicious that there is no resource to directly contact them for support. I'm canceling that card, disputing the charge, and blasting them on every social media platform I can find as a scam.

Extra Charges

Favor was great in all categories EXCEPT 1, why do they charge my account an extra $30 on every order. They say it is a hold, I am 53 years old and every company i have ever dealt with has only charges my Debt card or Credit card for what I have purchased, I canceled my card and deleted the App,

This is company is a joke and HEB as…

This is company is a joke and HEB as good as they are and are for the consumer needs to dropped this Favor so from there portfolio this is a disgrace of a delivery company . Almost seems like your dealing with a mom and pop shop who don’t have there business together horrible delivery took 3 hours today and the other day my wife never received what she ordered but got an apology text . Keep your apologies people are pissed.

Sucks 100%

The person's name changes at least three times during the delivery. And a nice looking lady driver on the app (I'm a single woman and appreciate knowing that) will turn out to be some guy at your door. A total lie. It takes about an hour at least to get your delivery. Don't bother ordering anything that needs to remain cold as it will be room temperature when you receive it.
