I would highly recommend Woolley & Co Solicitors for anyone needing support with family law.
My experience with them has been very positive. Communication has been fantastic throughout — always clear, professional and straight to the point, which is especially important when dealing with difficult family law matters.
I also really appreciate their approach to keeping costs manageable. If attending court would involve significant travel and additional expense, they are happy to help find suitable local solicitors or barristers where appropriate, helping to avoid unnecessary costs.
The option of a payment plan is also extremely helpful, particularly when legal proceedings can become expensive.
Overall, I have found Woolley & Co professional, supportive and very mindful of their clients’ circumstances and costs. I would highly recommend them.

Luci, at Woolley and Co, has been my strength through a very testing divorce. Her knowledge and support have been more than 100%. Luci kept the situations that arose very grounded at the same time understanding to my emotions.
I would highly recommend Luci and Woolley & Co for any matrimonial issues and advice.

I had a long drawn out divorce as a result of the other party being a very difficult individual to deal with. Susan is an outstanding lawyer. Every hurdle that came up , Susan had a solution for. She even had to deal with a lawyer in Canada brought on by the opposing side. Susan also has a great team of barristers to recommend. After 3 years we can final draw a line on these proceedings.
My only regret is I started the divorce proceedings on my own, I should have had legal advise from the start. It would have saved me years of nonsense and dosh.

Claudette was truly wonderful throughout an incredibly protracted divorce. Always pro-active through all the twists and turns, Claudette's knowledge and expertise was second to none. I would never hesitate to recommend Claudette to anyone.

Catherine Edmondson took the time to understand the background of my case and get to know my personal circumstances. She provided excellent advice, support and recommendations for Barrister.
I can’t thank her enough.

I cannot thank Kate Butler enough for the support, guidance and reassurance provided throughout my divorce.
From the outset, she approached every aspect of the case with compassion, empathy and genuine understanding. I found my Divorce a very emotionally challenging process, yet I always felt listened to, respected and supported.
What I particularly appreciated was her ability to explain complex legal and financial matters in a clear and accessible way. Every option was carefully explained, together with the potential implications, allowing me to make informed decisions with confidence.
Kate's approach was always thoughtful, measured and highly professional. She never sugar-coated the many difficult issues or simply told me what I wanted to hear. Instead, she provided honest, realistic and well-reasoned advice, which I found invaluable during such an upheaval.
I was consistently impressed by Kate's patience, attention to detail and willingness to take the time to answer questions thoroughly. She demonstrated a genuine understanding of both the legal and personal aspects of my situation and always balanced firmness with kindness.
Throughout the process, I felt that my interests were being carefully protected while also being guided towards sensible and constructive outcomes. Her advice was always pragmatic, fair and well considered.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kate Butler to anyone facing divorce proceedings. Her expertise, integrity, compassion and professionalism have been exceptional, and I am extremely grateful for the support I have received and am continuing to.
In relation to the company and Kate's measures of professionalism when she is not available Jane Weston never hesitates to step up - and is always fully aware of what's happening and what's needed. That alone is an indication of their service.

A diabolical no service from G Scourfield from start to finish despite me not being her client and a Litigant in Person. Utterly dismissive.

My daughter called for advice. She received hostile, condescending, poor advice from Richard England who reduced her to tears. When I called to ask who to speak to regarding complaints I was told there was no way for me to complain as we were not clients. Disgraceful!

I contacted Woolley & Co solicitors for advice on a marriage issue.
Fiona Spinks was the solicitor giving me advice which was very thorough and understanding.
I felt my issue was really listened to and Fiona was very knowledgable in her response to my questions.
After the conversation with Fiona, I felt less anxious about my situation and empowered to get further advice should I need it.
I would highly recommend these solicitors and would not hesitate using again in the near future.
Corrupt Woolley & Co Solicitors
Their solicitors took advantage of my naivety and lack of legal knowledge as a non-native speaker. They made unnecessary calls and sent emails due to my limited English proficiency, requested irrelevant documents and information, and communicated with my ex-husband without cause, all resulting in thousands of pounds in charges. Their solicitor, Karen Agnew Griffith, simply copied the statements from previous solicitors, and because she didn't understand the content, she couldn't even summarize it in front of the judge. She is the worst I have ever met. I would recommend avoiding them.

I am in a process of agreeing a financial consent with my ex partner. I spoke with one of the team Davina when i first started, at the outset she said to put a retainer down and things can be managed in simple 5-15min chunks, well every 5-15 min "chunk" will cost you a re-mortgage. to answer and respond to one email and i mean basic type stuff will cost you somewhere in the region of £75-£100 I get this is specialist advice but I am not convinced 5-15 mins should be charged at this rate. Avoid at all cost and make sure you read the reviews of these firms before you proceed.
