Factory Furniture Express 

I ordered a desk last January and required delivery in Taos NM by March 15, 2016 at our second home. I made it very clear that we would be gone after that date. So they charged me for the desk and I get a call from a delivery truck at the end of March wanting to deliver the desk. I told him to return it since there was no one to take delivery. The house was locked up. I was twice promised a refund and as of Sept 7, I have not received it. I will have to sue.

Initially my service with FFE was great. They were helpful and attentive and my furniture arrived on time. However, my table was missing 1 rivet. I contacted the company immediately and they said they would ship it. That was in December. I had since contacted them several more times over the last 8 months and was always assured it would be sent. It never came. The last 2 emails I sent they have not even bothered to reply to. It's just a rivet. Why is it so hard to put it in an envelope and mail it to me? So, if you're furniture arrives with no problems, then it'll fine, but if you have even a minor problem don't expect them to fix it.

My merchandise finally arrived five weeks after originally promised and two and a half hours late even then. That said the owner is passionate and the merchandise was excellent and what I'd judge to be a good value for what I paid. Once they finally got here the guys were in and out quick and had it set up exactly where we wanted it. All in all it just appears too much cost cutting has been done in the name of providing that value and the customer service has suffered because of it. I'll likely pay a little more and shop elsewhere next time, but if value is your only measurement and you're willing to suffer through it there is good value to be had here for what you get.

While spending January and February in the southwestern states, my wife and I developed a fondness for rustic furniture and the “Santa Fe” look. While spending a month in Santa Fe, I inquired in the local furniture stores but was disappointed they weren’t keen on shipping the pieces to Ohio. So I went to Google and found FFE.

When I called them and tried to explain our custom order of a table and four chairs, the person referred me to Jose, who is an owner. He took the order, which arrived last week, packaged well enough to go around the world a couple of times. Incredible packaging – cardboard, bubble wrap, taping, you name it. Not a scratch on anything. Compare that to normal retail delivery – where scratches are common.

As an artist, I loved the carving on the table and chairs, and, as a writer-historian, I loved the reclaimed wood that came from vigas from old haciendas in Mexico. Even the tradition of the local artisans who made this furniture fascinated me: immigrants from Venice, Italy, who came to Chpilo in 1882 and who speak with a particular Venetian accent. The wood, along with Italian-Mexican artistry, is right up there with that found in Restoration Hardware, though the prices of FFE are much, much lower.

I’ve placed another custom order and can’t wait until it arrives.

My new dining room table arrived and I couldn't be happier. We bought a medium lenght table, on sale, and what a great buy! It's the perfect length for my dining room and looks great in the room. The table looked good on the website and is even better in person. The light finish is perfect with our home decor and the table itself has nice turned legs and is extremely sturdy. I emailed a few times with questions and Jose, the man in charge, always answered right away - very good customer service. They kept me informed as to the delivery - this company is first class. The young man who delivered the table was also very nice, friendly and helpful - every step of the way with this purchase was a pleasure. Factory Furniture has the best customer service in the business. It is rare to find a company that backs up their quality products with equally attentive and helpful customer care. Being able to talk to a live person when I called was a great personal touch and prompt replies to my emails was impressive.
