I have found ExecRanks to be an effective resource for me as I search for Board roles.

Great platform, care and follow through. The only crit I have is the member teams and the firm teams are seperate. So when you as a member have a question about the firm while on the phone etc with member support they are blind to the firm. This is a lost opportunity and makes it less valuable search experience.

I’m a fan of the exclusivity this brand gives me and my team when we are traveling.

Excellent support. Must have patience for companies to work through their internal decision making process.

I'm a new ExecRank member going through the onboarding process which inevitably brought me to the Continuing Board Education (CBE) section. Like many of you, I listened attentively to four, or more, of the presentations treating specific subject of interest. I must say I found the to be of excellent quality. A few of the points brought up by the speakers even made me laugh as I've found myself in similar situations having to deal with similar issues.

The overall process was fairly straightforward from the beginning of my relationship with ExeRanks. However, there were some early on Technical gliches that were subsequently rectified in a timely manner. I am quite pleased with the rather faster selection of my Board Advisory position with Focus Mobility which is an exciting start-up.

I had a great time and learned a lot on the ExecRanks tools. I'd recommend this to any proactive executive. The system really works if you make it work for you. It only took me 5 minutes a day to apply to the board positions interested to me and maybe a half hour per week to listen to the continuing education media available. I was online literally only 3 months and I'd been able to earn my CBE, participate in an executive advisory council, and now named to a board.

What I like best about my experience with ExecRanks is the professionalism of everyone I've dealt with at the company. The e-mails I receive are well-written, succinct and straight to-the-point. The phone calls are informational and friendly. Best of all, there appears to be a real effort made to keep me up-to-date with all the information I need. On top of that, when I've asked for a little extra help (reminders, help finding a company's web page, etc) I never get "NO" for an answer. I recommend ExecRanks highly.

Update 1/24/18: After sending an email to every top leader in this organization telling them about the reviews I posted, they agreed to refund my money in full and did not charge my card again.

BUYER BEWARE! If you get approached by this company, don't let the flattery get to you. I made this mistake and am paying dearly for it. I signed up on Dec 20th, then traveled for the holidays, and proceeded to get sick with the flu. By the time I came to my senses (after looking at the "opportunities" on their site), it was Jan 8th. I tried to cancel and get a refund of the $395, but was told it was later than the required 15 days advance notice prior to the "renewal" of the membership (which I guess they count from the 12/20 starting date). PLUS, now I'm going to get charged again on Jan 20th another $200 because of the less than 15 days prior. The terms and conditions of the agreement are ridiculous and you don't even get access to the terms until after you sign up.

I am pleased with the personal service I receive from The ExecRanks. While I haven’t taken advantage of all of the features, I do like receiving updates and notices regarding companies that I potentially could help via board service. I appreciate that The ExecRanks submits my applications for me. I found a great opportunity using The ExecRanks with a company called Petram Technologies.

Very professional in aligning organizations with advisors to aid them in their business needs.

Excellent service overall, but expectations should be clear coming in. They have several companies spanning several industries, and you will quickly find a placement if you have the skill set the companies are seeking. However, you have to have a clear focus for what type of industry and board position you are looking for, and be willing to take the initiative, because ExecRanks will not do the work for you.

ExecRank opened the door to identifying opportunities to contribute as an advisor to for-profit and non-profit organizations. Although many of the opportunities are with established businesses, ExecRank appears to be a particularly valuable resource for finding opportunities with start ups and less established companies that stand to gain most from access to advisors and board members.

The ExecRank site is driven by excellent search tools. Training courses and engagement opportunities are included in membership. The "handoff" from ExecRank to the organization with which I had applied was seamless and efficient, enabling direct interaction that facilitated getting to know each other and, in a timely way, receiving and accepting an invitation to become a founding advisor of Assured Science Exchange.

Exec Ranks has exceeded my expectations! They are professional, passionate, and deliver the promise. I now proudly serve on the board of SmartServe, founded by London-based entrepreneur, Fayez Nadem, with an amazing and diverse group of leaders. I have been a member of ExecRanks for almost 2 years. I have found the team at Exec Ranks to be very helpful and responsive to my needs. ExecRanks has made many contacts for me and has helped me apply to numerous opportunities that fit my skill sets. Initially I found the online application process a tad over whelming due to the amount of leads I was receiving. However the team assigned to me was very quick to accept my feedback and helped me maneuver through the process. I’ve been fortunate to be interviewed and placed on an Advisory Board for a start up restaurant tech company. That placement has lead to other leads which has expanded my professional network. When I initially joined I was told it would take anywhere between 12-18 months before I would be placed on my first board. Their estimate was spot on as I was placed on my first advisory board at the 12 month mark.

I "joined" The ExecRanks this summer and from the beginning it was clear they are not what they advertise. To every question I asked I was told the web site would answer. Well, it didn't. It only got worse when I dug deeper and asked really challenging questions and found they really don't deliver what they promise. Rather than waste any more time, and money, I decided to cancel my membership. Well, they won't refund your money and after fighting with them for a month and reporting them to the BBB, I walked away poorer, but wiser.

Fast forward to yesterday when I get a call and then an email from one their National Accounts person; I've pasted the email below. Essentially, they think my integrity is for sale. I assure you, it is not. Not for any amount of money. So instead of doing the right thing to begin with, you've now made the situation worse - for you. What is it they say? When you have a good experience you tell 10 people; when it's a terrible experience you tell 1,000. Well ExecRanks, you had your chance to do the right thing a LONG time ago. Now I'm telling thousands.

Just started using ExecRanks! It's been super helpful so far. I've gained a lot of valuable insight and I can see this as a resource I will use in the future as the company continues to grow.

The ExecRanks connected me with my first board position, and it's a great fit. Managing a full-time career doesn’t leave much time to seek board roles. The ExecRanks platform enables me to narrow searches that are best suited for my background and sends alerts when I need to respond to an opportunity.
