I ordered some samples. Free!! Awesome! Quickly delivery and they don’t harass you to buy once you have ordered samples. They send quick, tracked delivery. Good size samples also. Hybrid Flooring 5.5mm Whitehaven
Hybrid Flooring 5.5mm Whitehaven - (Cracking / chipping)
The product was easy to install and cut really well with a drop saw. However, the boards and the joins crack really easily. I had a number of boards crack and chip off during installation and after a week of being installed I have just had one board (transition board) crack / chip on the edge.

Overall good but has issues
The sample was not an exact match to what was delivered so it was very misleading. On their website they had things “in stock” but once the order was put through I was told they’re actually not in stock and I have to wait. Some of the floorboards came chipped and wouldn’t lock in. Other than that the rest of the floor boards were good and delivery was fast.

Bad at delivery level. Delivery driver expected someone to be at my end to help. It was only a coincidence there were people at my home, at the time, to help.
I Embleton expects there to be hep at delivery, this must be communicated to the purchaser.

Embeltons were great with advice of…
Embeltons were great with advice of which timber floor to get for us, which method of installation, and assistance with a custom stair nose. Unfortunately it took a while to collect prior to Christmas and we had to call to check it was ready, then when we arrived to pick it up the stair nose wasnt there, however they express posted it to us within 2 days provided a discount on the adhesive, and the timber flooring looks fantastic.

why end a Black Friday Sale on a Thuirsday ??????
The samples arrived no problem and I intended to buy 85sq metres of blacbutt hybrid floor - it was on sale for black friday sales - I actually ranf on the Friday to be told by the lady on the phone that the sale ended on Thursday which I thought was bizzare given it waas a black friday sale - I asked if she could speak to her manager as I would have ordered soon er had i kn on the cut off date and i was only out by 24hrs - she said shed ring me back and i diodnt hear from her again. I am consiodering an alternate supplier at the price i was willing to pay fopr the embelton product - arounf $35 a square meter.
