Terrible paint.
Can't speak for their other paints but I ordered 2.5l of clay paint. Absolute rubbish, it contains linseed oil and the whole room stank of linseed oil for 6 weeks until I repainted it with a competitors product with no linseed oil and no smell. I was a painter and decorator for 40 years so know my stuff.
£50 wasted.

Hi Colin thank you for you feedback regarding our Natural Claypaint. We always appreciate the thoughts of our customers on our products and we are sorry to hear that you have been so disappointed in our Natural Claypaint product.
As a company we want to promote traditionally made natural products and we manufacture our Natural Claypaint using some Linseed Oil and Casein to act as binders, this is to replace the acrylic-based polymer found in modern emulsion paints. Although these are minimal additions to the product.
We have sold thousands of litres of our Natural Claypaint. This is the first time we have had a customer complaint regarding the smell of the product and we are really disappointed that you felt that you had to overpaint our Natural Claypaint with a different material.

Lime wash paint
I have a traditional property which needed lime wash paint on the interior walls,im very new to this so ordered samples for colour,ended up speaking to a gentleman on the phone from the company who was very helpful giving his time to explain application method & sharing his knowledge of lime wash paints,very personal & knowledgeable service & the colours are very in keeping with traditional properties.
I definitely recommend this company 100%.

5* Family Business with oodles of knowledge
I rarely review but I just had to with this company!
I am limewashing my flat and was getting so confused with the mixed messaging around brushes needed online and various retailers.
I rang Earles paint and not only spoke to an actual human but they were so knowledgable and passionate about what they sell and the craft of limewashing.
They are so much cheaper than other companies who trying to charge premiums on brushes and limewash paints!
quick and easy delivery, and always at the end of the phone for any questions.
They will absolutely be my go to for any paint / materials going forward

Although we haven’t yet ordered our paint, David from Earles Paint was very knowledgable and helpful, sending out samples promptly so we could move forward with our project and make a decision on the final colour.
