“I subscribed nearly a year ago and emailed asking for my subscription to be cancelled. Even after changing my bank card, you’ve continued taking £1 every few weeks, adding up to nearly £16. How are you still charging me after I unsubscribed and changed my card? This feels extremely dodgy. Please stop the payments immediately and refund the money.”

This website is not working anymore…

This website is not working anymore it’s dormant. I tried to register and no email activation came through so I can’t check adverts or apply and lie most have said they are very old or the companies not around anymore. It should be taken down as this website is misleading and it’s an utter joke councils still recommend them even though they are clearly not active. The whole website needs shutting down it’s a complete scam and waste of time

Defunct website

Defunct website, after trying to register I realised that the site is not longer in use or being updated, and it would not let me apply for properties although you can still search for properties.

Damn site doesn't work

Damn site doesn't work. Pay a subscription free to apply to houses then don't get replies- if the site even allows you to send anything to the contact at all.
I tried using it for ages this morning trying to apply to move somewhere. No one replies at all (over weeks now and multiple flats) and I can't use the site to contact the agent as it doesn't work.

It's unclear how legit the site is.

It's unclear how legit the site is or who is adding things to it.
1) The site owners don't respond to emails
2) Most ads are (sometimes years) old and often listed as taken!
3) According to the gov site (Find & update company info service.gov.uk), DSSmove is a dormant company, yet the gov still recommends them when they KNOW it's not actively running!
4) Predictably, you get no response from ads
5) Many of the estate agents listed don't have working phone numbers or are flat-out impossible to find evidence of outside of the site!
6) And lastly, their email system doesn't work, it'll show 2 errors then say message sent but those errors mean it isn't being sent.

DSSmove is more dire than the housing crisis.
Do not use! Do not trust!

I would give it zero if I could. Found 6 properties I wanted to enquire about. Not one email response and not one valid number. When you search up landlord company on companies house website, they don't exist and the address given on the dss move site is for residential addresses. I can't believe the council havnt realised this is a fake website and advise tenants to use it.

Jokers

They made me travel all the way to there dodgy office for no reason. They looked through my universal credit account then spoke to each other in a language unknown to me and then decided to tell me the room wasn't right for me and they had a bigger property for me next week. This was a blatant lie. Whilst in the office they tried talking and acting like they was gangsters interrogating me about my life etc. I wasn't intimidated at all I found them a joke tbh but I'm sure other people will have been made to feel uneasy for sure. They just want to gain access to your details for whatever reason. There apparent studios are tiny smelly rooms with a box attached with a name of energy as ensuite. Jokers!!!! I never heard from them again from the moment I left there office. I suffer mixed anxiety disorder and depression along with a mental and behavioural disorder due to the way I lived my life and whatever. This entire ordeal added in this all becoming worse and my medication dose to be increased. All in all a total nightmare.
