DSL Extreme is Good

I read some bad reviews online but the complaints sounded like user error or user ignorance. DSL Extreme is a reseller. My own experience was and still is 5 star. The customer service for me at least was fast and efficient.

The modem keeps losing connection

The modem keeps losing connection. I don’t think it’s worth the money I’m paying. I might pay the cancellation fee and take my business elsewhere.

I placed an order for higher speed…

I placed an order for higher speed Internet in by still haven’t gotten a tech guy to come out and complete the upgrade. As a result, I am unable to work (the reason I ordered internet at all).

Cheap but cannot use on my church zoom.

Cheap cannot use on my church zoom, I’m sad that I cannot use my lop top for prayer meeting cause of so small data. 12 vs 200 before. Now I have to pay $250 if I get out and transfer to another carrier.😭

I had the service hooked up during the…

I had the service hooked up during the lock down so things took a little longer but they took care of everything and made sure my service started on the hookup date. Extremely happy with the service.

What a uncaring company I have used…

What a uncaring company I have used them for 6 years and I was behind "1" payment of $53.00 and I told them due to less revenue coming in due to Covid-19 that I would pay on Monday the 15th and they suspended me anyway. What a bunch of uncaring SOB's.....I will cancel and find new service. Next Weel

Friendly Support but AT&T service

My first install appointment was missed by the technician. When my services got installed I realized they are just reselling AT&T whom I was trying to stay away from. DSLX support was very friendly but the issue wasn’t with them. I was offered a “down-time credit” because of my missed day of work for the technician not showing up but looking at my account I was charged for a full month anyway. Don’t get me wrong, the service works...but AT&T sucks in my area. Wish I could get better speeds than 15mbps on my 18mbps plan but supposedly my line can’t handle it.

DSL Extreme Bad, Bad, Bad

If I could, I would leave a negative five star (-*****) rating; or 5,000. DSLextreme is a horrible company;. DO NOT use DSLextreme. We now use a cable company, much faster, more bandwidth, well worth the money.

We had been a customer of DSLextreme for over 15 years. When we went to upgrade our service (faster.) DSLextreme sent out two techs to our house. One checked the interior wiring, which was okay, and a second went off site to a "telephone company junction or distribution box." Another DSLextreme tech arrived 2 hours later and said land line dial tone was dead. The land line had worked just fine since 1997 when we first moved in. Calls and letters to DSLextreme "customer service," to DSLextreme supervisors" and "DSLextreme management" all responded with a feeble, "we didn't do anything wrong," and a thoroughly deceitful"it's not our responsibility." After months of denials we send a letter the the California Public Utilities Commission. The CAL-PUC replied with a lame, dismissive form-letter, saying I should contact the Federal Communications Commission (FCC.) Our land line still does not work and we cancelled with the phone company along with DSLextreme.

O had your service before

O had your service before, and it was very satisfying! However, since I order the service again over 1 month ago, it has performed poorly! Extremely slow, and at times I can neither place a phone call, nor can have I have a clear conversation! At times, I go to ‘settings’, click Wi-Fi and it gets a little better! Is there anyway you can improve the speed-reception??? Thanks! DeLima. God’s blessings!🙏!

Terrible, less than 1 star, terrible tech support, slow internet ATT copy

I have been with been with DSLExtreme for over 15 years, found them via a640AM radio show, YES they were cheaper than ATT as far as DSL and even allowed you to use your own modem, However their tech support is impossible to use, I average 3 hours on hold all the time, then I get some 3rd world Filipino I can barely understand, also when they call you back they speak so fast you can't understand the call back number (which they keep secret from everyone). It's a nightmare.

Speed got so slow they forced me to upgrade and it's still barely usable. Fact is the Speedstream they sell is ATT Uverse, same modems and ATT even comes out to install.

Recently with NO waring they changes my password, locked me out of my own account because THEY decided to upgrade passwords that did not have problems. Worse when you try to reset they tell you 8 character min but that does not work and the system will refuse you to change then after 4 tries your locked out completely.

I suggest all the DSL users or even Uverse people looking for internet at good speed with Intelligent, knowledgeable techs run and go to Spectrum for internet, DSLextreme has failed me over and over with nothing but problems and slow internet
