My recent encounter with them has left…

My recent encounter with them has left me utterly dismayed. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues with my remote start device, I faced abysmal customer service and unreasonable charges.

After experiencing problems with the device, I reached out to them for assistance. However, I was met with prolonged wait times on the phone, exceeding 10 minutes, without any resolution or acknowledgment of my concerns.

Frustrated, I sought help from the company that installed my drone mobile, who promptly fixed the issue... $60 later.

This level of service is unacceptable. Not only did they charge me for the monthly plan, they also required me to receive a new serial number.

I strongly caution others against engaging with them due to their poor customer service.

On hold 2 hours, never answered

Was on hold for almost 2 hours. No one ever picked up the phone I hung up, fourth time this app failed. I install the new software keeps telling me my truck is on when my truck is off. Got my truck located almost 30 miles away from where it actually is. The GPS stinks. Wish I never bought this system. I was told it was good, but the phone support is the worst second to the system failing on my vehicle all the time. The app actually had me locked out of my truck for almost an hour I had to call for another key to be brought to me to get in.
So disappointed, Im so disappointed I was talked into buying the system for my vehicle.
The worst. Not to mention the money I spent on a three-year security membership.

Tach issues, Fail to Start vehicle

The worst car starter. After about the 10th start by the app. It fails to start because Tach fail.
It happens all the time. And if you are not near your car or truck to use the remote to lock and unlock, to shut off the 4 ways, your battery will die. The app will not shut the 4 ways off after a fail to start. Every other remote starter sold doesn't have this issue. I am buying a different one from someone else after my subscription runs out

Had my alarm with drone installed at…

Had my alarm with drone installed at car toys, then was sent out a replacement gps unit, and they sent out one that starts with 204! The same unit with issues! Firmware update didn’t do squat !I have to manually unplug gps numerous times a week just for it to track! The damn app sucks, won’t send commands! The have sent a reset command twice and still doesn’t work! A simple solution would be to send out a new, not affected gps unit, but they refuse! So looks like time to get an attorney involved for class action suit! Not receiving the service I subscribed too!

I bought a new car and canceled my…

I bought a new car and canceled my subscription with drone mobil. They said I would get a refund for the remaining balance. It’s been over two months (July 7th)and still no refund. I’ve called several times and asked about it. Every time I call I get a different response. The last time, two weeks ago, they said it was approved and I’d be getting a check in the next week or so. I am try to call them now as I write this. Been waiting for 45 minutes. This is crazy

Customer service is horrible

Customer service is horrible! App is horrible product is trash! I bought this for my daughter and paid for a 3 year subscription! The app crashed, it would work with the model of the device we had and they only offered 60 days extension when it had been down for months! I tried to reset it multiple
Times and it didn’t work and I told them this emailed them multiple times! I wish I never bought this product! I have had it less than a year!

Junk

Junk! Car Toys installed it and it worked for a few days. Never works now. God tracking is weeks behind and I can’t ever get it to access the car to start it anymore.

There is not customer service. It’s a joke and not worth it.

Horrible Customer Service for defective module

Drone Mobile notified customers that that there was a defective module that had to be reset. I was unable to perform the reset myself, and Drone Mobile would NOT compensate me for the third party cost. There customer service is horrible and their terms of their contract is terrible. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OF DEALING WITH THEM

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware!! Worked great for 2 months. Now the app doesn’t work which is why I bought it. Customer service is via email only. You can’t talk to anyone. We tried 3 resets and now they don’t return my calls.

I just got my Drone

I just got my Drone. Mobile product and at the installers we had some issues getting the Geofense to work. We called customer service and everyone was helpful. We finally got things fixed. I hope the product works well going forward.

I wish I would have never gotten this…

I wish I would have never gotten this alarm. It's nothing but a pain in the a** and truly makes my vehicle less secure. The current problem is it thinks I have a door open when I lock it. The OEM dash indicator doesn't show any doors are open and I've made sure everything is closed and unobstructed but drone thinks something is. So it doesn't lock. I hit lock, it locks, then the lights flash a few times and my remote shows doors open and it unlocks itself. So happy I spent thousands of dollars on an alarm system that makes it easier to steal, damage etc my truck. Compustar does nothing. I get a different story every time and the certified, authorized technician who installed it says I have to call Compustar. Right. Save your money

Customer service is non-existent

Customer service is non-existent. My unit came with the wrong thermistor so temp reading was 60+ degrees off. I told them in my request that I am an Electronics Technician and am certain the thermistor is installed correctly.
Their answer: “ A thermistor will need to be installed and mounted correctly to monitor the vehicle's interior temperature via DroneMobile. Please contact an authorized installer for assistance.”
It took a lot of internet searching to find a picture of what the thermistor should look like and it didn’t match mine. Ordered the correct one and it worked perfect. They would be better off not offing service than giving bull sh!t answers like the one I received.

Terrible service

Terrible service - did the required hardware upgrade in January 2022 and hadn’t worked since. System returns that I need to renew my subscription as it expired TWO AND A HALF YEARS IN THE FUTURE!!!

How can they have such bad coding for something so basic?!?

Buyer be aware

Couldn't use my dronemobile car starter due to needing upgrade. Upgrade was purchased and delivery took over 6 months (covid). Had upgrade put in, now dronemobile wants 1 picture, with my drivers license, vehicle registration, the serial number of ny dronemobile unit, and proof of purchase of the dronemobile or vehicle bill of sale. I have had 1 year of use of this product out of 5. I work away from home and don't carry all of my documents with me. This is the worst product, with the worst customer service I've ever bought.

re: no response from DroneMobile

I received a notification a week ago that all DroneMobile app beginning with 204 is experiencing command failed issues. I followed all required steps for hard a reboot, completed a trac-it ticket and explained what I did and the response on the email was we will get a response within 24 hours. 6 days later i followed up because i received no calls, left the trac-it number for reference still no call back but i get the same email instructions on hard rebooting today like now 7 days ago . I've even left voice messages between all this, no call back. Wanted to write my review on the app but guess what? You've got!!! Unable to even write a review because they've got it set up that all you can review is the few bad comments and the 4.6 stars. It took everything of me to take a chance with a subscription which I was going for the 3 year deal but opt for the 1 year instead. This is by far the worst follow up customer service I've ever experienced. Take your money and leave you hanging attitude. Hey you've gotten me, but I WILL NEVER subscribe to your services ever again!!! I will post this review wherever I can, and if I can help one person, I feel great!

Read the reviews first

Wish I would have read all these reviews before wasting my money! I’ve had the DroneMobile (which sounds good in theory) installed for one month. It was glitchy at first and then stopped working. I placed several tickets and was given the same response each time even though I explained I had already tried their “fixes”. In the end I was told to take it back to the dealer to have it looked at. Which would be fine except I have to leave my car (my only vehicle) for days to have it looked at. Completely unacceptable! I’m being put out time and money wise (as I would have to rent a vehicle). Super disappointed in my DroneMobile and their customer “support”.

Cancelled AU service area in Jan

Cancelled AU service area in Jan, contacted in August, told because less than 6 months left on plan no refund...
In Australia this is called theft, money for no service.
