Very poor service

Very poor service. Doctor was Indian & I don’t think she was even a doctor. I tried to speak as to what my condition was & she had the audacity to call me rude! & disconnected the call. Doctor was rude & refused to listen to the patient!! If you want a bandaid go to a pharmacy. Doctor on demand is a fraud! Do NOT USE doctor on demand!! They should not be practicing. They are a fraudulent organization! Shut them down!!

They charged me $170 because I logged in 5 minutes later.

I started with a therapist through my insurance. I logged in 5 minutes after my session because I got stuck in traffic and was driving. The system not only didnt let me see the therapist but I also spent untilimited amount of time on the phone and on emails and chats to get my money back and they wouldnt do it. I also cannot even email my therapist. I will cancel all future sessions and now I have to spend more time with my bank to get my money back. Embarrassing company

No customer assistance

I found the booking process with Doctors on Demand very easy and straightforward. However, I had a very poor experience when I needed the doctor’s notes to submit to my health insurance. Each of my emails took about a week to get a reply, and what should have been resolved in just a couple of days ended up taking four weeks. The customer service is practically nonexistent, which was extremely frustrating.

Inept nurse practitioners

Inept nurse practitioners. I am a diabetic patient and running out of my essentials medications like Humalog. Gave me a very hard time time ordering refill for essential medications.

Dr On Demand is horrible

Raminder Dhesi was rude, patronizing and condescending, lecturing me about medicines and kidney dialysis as well as talking over me as I tried to explain why I was short of medicine and had three changes to my insurance .

I tried to keep the conversation light, but she consistently talked over me and made me feel like a bad commercial interrupting her movie. She ignored my comments and was straight up inconsiderate. I cannot tolerate that kind of behavior from a medical professional. It is unacceptable.

She was younger than me and treated me like a fast food customer. I get it. It’s a 15 minute session, but honestly, I felt like a nuisance to her instead of a person who deserve respect and compassion. I was trying to get med refills and for my trouble I had to pay for a rude person who treated like I knew nothing and deserved less.

Absolute sham of a service

Absolute sham of a service. $54. I called the incorrect number. Kevin Graham, NP stated I would receive a refund as the call lasted less than 1 minute. Doctor on Demand will not refund me. I have talked with SIX representatives. AVOID this service.

Do not use this service

I had issues with an appointment. I guess since their app was updated, it had logged me off several times. So in March 2025 in the middle of my appointment the screen went black and I could no longer hear the doctor, I asked for her to call me or text me if she could hear me but she didn't. I also tried to log off and back on to the visit which it let me do but the same thing happened once I was on, I could see her name and the timer as if we were connected but the screen was black and there was no sound. I have had a few appointments through their app with a couple of different doctors and this had never happened. I had even left them great reviews. I'm very upset about this because it was for my mental health & it got cut off short. Nobody reached out to help or explain and then to top it off I got charged for this visit. Once I complained several times they finally credited me back Now for over 2 months they are trying to bill me for the credit they gave me. I tried emailing them, nothing, called the number on the email that they sent now several times with the bill and after a long hold it disconnected me. Ridiculous BS, this is so very annoying that I now have to be concerned about this. This is something I originally paid for and was refunded to me because of their crappy app and service. Do not ever use them, I'm going to leave this on every review platform until they fix this issue and leave me alone.

My son injured his shoulder during PE…

My son injured his shoulder during PE and had limited movement, but was not in severe pain. I requested a referral for an X-ray. After a $62 payment and a 5-minute telehealth consult, I was told to go to the Epworth Emergency Department instead. This was not an emergency, and the wait time and cost at Epworth ED is around $500. I’m disgusted that I paid $62 and got no outcome. Do not use this service.

Such a bad experience

Such a bad experience. I do not recommend at all. My son run out of his acne medication last night and I thought this was an easy way to get a script. The doctor was not familiar with the medication, decided to not trust my son’s previous doctors, and refused to prescribe it! $60 wasted plus the time and we had to go to another GP to get it. The GP needs to upgrade their knowledge as peer reviewed papers in medical journals highlight the efficacy of the medication!!!

Doctor Veronica Andis-High was the…

Doctor Veronica Andis-High was the doctor I spoke to, she hung up on me as I was searching for a document to prove i actually was prescribed blood thinners. I guess thats a common thing people who pay co-pays and all that are trying to lie about. Ive been on them 3 years (supposed to be for life) and couldn't get an appointment in the next couple of weeks with my oncologist, who prescribed initially, so tried this since im supposed to be on them daily and she was rude from the start asking questions I've never been asked before at any other appointment and I've been to A LOT of doctors. Actually insane she hung up too, she deserves to be fired. No wonder she is on the app with a 1 star rating on TrustPilot. She is a 0 star doctor with wayyyy too much makeup who seems she would've done better on stage as a clown.

My experience with Doctor on Demand was…

My experience with Doctor on Demand was infuriating and utterly disappointing. After my Monday virtual urgent care appointment, they waited three days to inform me they couldn’t help and that I needed to book a separate virtual primary care appointment for a specialist referral. This critical detail was never mentioned upfront, wasting my time and delaying my care. When I contacted customer service, the agent was rude, dismissive, and blamed my insurance company, claiming it took two to three days to “review the contract” — an obvious lie. Requesting a supervisor? Another one to two days wait. This service is unprofessional, inefficient, and completely lacks accountability. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible service!!

Terrible service!!! They assumed I am “med-seeking” and asking for controlled substance when I was just consulting about my anxiety. Their provider is rude! Denise Orrill is the name of the physician who I saw, very rude! Waste of time

Terribly company

Terribly company. It states "Doctor on Demand' and they paired me with a nurse practitioner which lacked experience and the ability to make good judgment. I ended up going into my doctors office a few days later.

Service was really poor

Service was really poor. Took my money only to receive a prescription for 1 asthma inhaler.
I have always received 5 repeats with any other company but I was told this company only gives 1 and no repeats.
Works out as far more expensive than being a private patient with a gp.
Feel totally ripped off as they don’t tell you that you only get 1 prescription. They just take your money and tell you nothing.Steer clear.

Excellent, timely service

While on hold with Doc on Demand last night- well really early morning- I read these reviews.
And now I’m writing one myself because I had an excellent experience. Yesterday I got bit by a cat while trying to save it from the family dogs, and I thought I could do home remedies but my leg got very sore and I realized I needed urgent care around midnight. So I went doctor on demand after googling 24/7 urgent care.
I was online with a live doctor within 15 minutes-
Had a script within 3-5 mins.
And had script in my hands within 20.
The whole ordeal took under an hour - a good thing since it was in middle of the night.

Incredibly unhelpful

Incredibly unhelpful. They are unaware of the practices in the healthcare system, and so deny assistance and make recommendations that are impossible to execute. Additionally they don't respond to feedback or process it. Really disappointed, won't use again.

Negative a trillion stars

If I could give this company a negative review I would. I paid $300 for a consultation and the only advice I received is to Google the solution to my problem myself. When I tried to dispute this bogus scam of a service, I was told that since the visit length was sufficient, they are satisfied with the service that they provided me. Well I am not satisfied with the service that was provided. I could've Googled a solution myself. I didn't need to pay $300 to be told to use Google. This company is either a scam or they suck, but I have nothing good to say about this company. I hope they go under.
