We were referred to DLG Basildon through our insurance and the service was too class from collecting our car till it was dropped back. They arranged the hire car and kept us informed during the repair. Excellent job on the repair itself, and even gave the car a deep clean inside and out. Would definately recommend and use again.

Will never put my car into this repair shop again. Had new scratches on my car, stains on the drivers seat, two different coloured head lights fitted and when it returned to sort it out, they refused to take ownership. Stay clear of this company, they will bump you off

A woman ran into the back of my car and within an hour Direct line insurance (who DLG motors are a part of) phoned me up and said DLG would collect my car. A few days later they did.
I was kept informed of progress throughout.
Car was returned in immaculate condition (it had been valeted inside and out) and returned in better condition then it went in!!
I can thoroughly recommend DLG autos Middlewich.

Great commuication, contacted when vehicle was going to be collected and also delivery of a brand new courtesy car, return exactly the same car delivered back informed of date and time , repair to car was excellent 5 year warranty on repairs, could not fault personnel approach with everything concerned , would recommend the garage to anyone

My car went off for repair and was fairly quickly returned sadly bits were missing and the job wasn't finished, some parts were still broken, 2 weeks later an engineer came out and couldn't repair it in the carpark. Another 2 weeks later they took the car away and gave me a non like for like replacement as apparently they don't have to honour that if they mess up the repair. I finally got my car back and its ok and I cant be bothered to complain any more but its not great.

I was involved in a accident, no fault of my own. Dlg auto's came out to pickup my car. I was informed that the car was written off. I only got the car last November 2025.i received 10,041,28p. I paid it straight to the finance company. I found myself in debt to the sum of £700, paid a further £292. I have another £400 which will be paid to the finance company. Now DLG auto's are saying that I need to pay them a retention fee to get my car from them, I called my insurance company and finance company, they said that the car belongs to me and they have never heard anything about a retention fee. I'm going to seek legal advice if they refuse to let me take my car....

The original repair was good apart from they had missed a small scratch on the top of the door. After sending a picture to Simon Bennett they asked me to take the car back to see what they could do. Jamie came out off his lunch brake and polished out the scratch and even had a look at a couple more that were not related to the repair. Couldn’t ask for better service what a top guy and a real asset to DLG!

Used Basildon DLG service as insurance referred , The time taken extremely longer than Estimated time given and also every time a new date give that kept changing without advance notice of change instead client had to chase the garage to confirm the validity of dates .
