I recently had my implant surgery at the Antalya Dentakay clinic, and I am beyond impressed with the entire process. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Chief Physician Alper Bey, Dr. Sefer Bey, and Nuray Hanım for their incredible professionalism and care, which made the surgery so smooth for me.
I want to give a special shout-out to Sarp Bey from the Istanbul branch. He is truly a wonderful person who is exceptional at what he does; his solution-oriented approach and genuine support were invaluable. I also want to thank Eymen Bey from the Antalya branch and the entire staff for their kindness and excellent service.
I highly recommend the Dentakay team to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality dental treatment. Thank you all for everything!

visited Dentakay for dental treatment and had an excellent experience. The doctor and all staff members were very friendly and professional. Dr. Eda Aydogdu was outstanding-she was extremely gentle and took the time to clearly explain each step of the procedure, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout.
I would highly recommend Dentakay to my family and friends.

Clinical Review of Dentakay Dental Clinic
My experience with Dentakay raised significant concerns, particularly around clinical judgement, treatment planning, and ethical practice.
To begin with, the customer service interaction itself was acceptable. Communication was polite and responsive. However, the clinical side of the service is where the concerns become substantial.
The most striking issue was that clinical decisions appeared to be made solely on the basis of submitted photographs, without any form of live assessment, structured video consultation, or comprehensive diagnostic process. From a clinical standpoint, this is highly questionable. Dentistry relies on detailed examination, including occlusion, soft tissue assessment, radiographs, and medical history. Making definitive treatment recommendations from static images alone lacks sufficient clinical rigour and increases the risk of inappropriate treatment planning.
Despite clearly stating that I would not consider crowns as a treatment option, Dentakay returned with a plan centred around crowns. This raises concerns about a potential bias toward a single treatment modality, rather than an individualised, patient-centred approach. There is a broader pattern, particularly in some high-volume clinics abroad, where crowns are over-recommended. This is often due to limitations in scope of practice, skill set, or business models that favour more invasive, higher-cost interventions.
Crowns are irreversible. They involve significant removal of natural tooth structure and carry long-term risks, including pulpal damage, infection, and the need for future replacement. For patients with increased vulnerability to infection or complex dental histories, this risk is even more pronounced. Recommending such an intervention without thorough assessment is not only clinically weak, but ethically concerning.
What further undermines confidence in Dentakay’s clinical judgement is the inconsistency with other professional opinions. I have since had:
A face-to-face consultation in the UK
A video consultation with another provider in Turkey
Additional opinions from two separate dentists
All of whom indicated that I was suitable for alternative, less invasive treatment options. This level of discrepancy suggests that Dentakay’s assessment was not only limited, but potentially inaccurate.
There also appeared to be a disproportionate emphasis on marketing aesthetics, such as images of facilities and clinics. While environment and equipment are relevant, they do not compensate for poor clinical reasoning. Clinical competence, diagnostic accuracy, and ethical treatment planning should always take precedence.
From a professional perspective, I would strongly question:
The validity of diagnoses made purely from photographs
The apparent default to crowns despite patient preference and clinical risk
The lack of exploration of alternative treatment pathways
The ethical basis of recommending invasive procedures under these conditions
In its current form, I would not consider Dentakay to demonstrate a standard of clinical care that aligns with best practice principles.
Recommendation
I would strongly advise anyone considering treatment to:
Seek an initial assessment with a UK-based dentist or similarly regulated professional
Obtain multiple opinions before committing to irreversible procedures
Be cautious of clinics that promote a single dominant treatment option, particularly crowns
Prioritise clinical expertise and judgement over marketing presentation
Conclusion
This was a negative experience. While the customer service was acceptable, the clinical approach lacked depth, flexibility, and, in my view, appropriate professional judgement. I would not recommend Dentakay and would encourage others to seek more robust, evidence-based dental advice elsewhere.

If you want genuine care and quality service, Dentakay is NOT the clinic to go to. I was extremely disappointed having spent over USD $1000 to fly to Istanbul, only to be told that they could not do the implant we’ve discussed.
Before confirming my appointment, I sent my pictures and a recent x-ray to the agent. After which I was told the dentist looked over and proposed a plan for an implant. I asked about the permanent tooth that was stuck in my gum horizontally and was told they would not remove it, they would just put the implant in.
I made the appointment and I traveled to Istanbul, and on the day of my appointment the clinic was packed with patients and staff walking around, looking flustered. Listening to some of the customers in the waiting room, they’ve waiting for hours without no updates. It seemed like they were clearly taking on more than they could handle.
When it was my turn, they took the same type of x-ray that I already sent from my local dentist and told me the implant would not be possible as the space is too small and they would need to extract the permanent tooth in the gum. They suggested I shaved down the teeth on the sides of the gap to put a bridge and expected me to make that decision right then and there.
On top of that, there was no consideration as to the accommodation, no apology. I had to find another place to stay that same day or pay over USD $900 for the 5 day stay at the hotel that was supposed to be included in the package. Mind you, this was more than half the price of the full package. I guess the hotel stay was much more expensive than the actual procedure.
The agent and security came running after me when I walked out of the clinic refusing to pay for a one day stay at the hotel. They said even though I never spent any time at the hotel, I still have to pay for the first day since they already made the reservation. As if I didn’t pay enough to come all the way to Istanbul for nothing.
Zero stars for your customer service, Dentakay. It’s not the fact that you didn’t say upfront that you could not do the implant. It’s the way you handled it.
Reading some of the other reviews, it seems like your strategy is to get people to come to Istanbul even though the surgery that they look forward to is not possible and then you break the news and expect them to agree to something else, just so you can get business. If that is in fact true, it’s shameful.

From the very start Dentakay exceeded my expectations. The flights were booked, pickup from the airport was punctual. Taking me to and from the clinic was like clock work. The hotel which they had me staying in was of a good standard, very clean and a good selection of food, with a beautiful sea view.
The staff at the clinic were very polite and very helpful at every stage. The treatment by the dentist's was of a very high standard without any pain or issues. I am very pleased and grateful and would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting treatment.

This is my honest review without being pressured into it ! At first I was skeptical because maybe I didn’t understand the process. Me and my wife had a full mouth restoration done at Dentakay. Yes the price has gone up then initially stated but I did needed extra work done such as a bone grafting operation! My gums to the left top of my side of my mouth has sunk after putting the zirconia crowns on which resulted in a gap between the gums and the crowns ! On my second visit The Doctor have removed the affected area crowns and on my top right as well as they have moved and created another gap - thats because I couldn’t have the full mouth done in one go because I had a healing period of 6 months - Bone grafting and implants . So because there was no resistance they have moved . They have removed the affected crowns and replaced them with new ones , no extra cost no questions asked . Cleanliness - Absolutely everything is spotless and sterilised- never once have I seen anything wrong ! Hotels and transportation from Hotel to Clinic and back is covered! Flights are optional! Honestly I cannot fault them ! They are professional beyond belief and very attentive! Me and my wife are both happy with the final product. A new smile ! Honestly - Thank you Dentakay Team at Nish ! Brilliant Service

Not very serious, it's not worth it, they start with a quote and you end up paying double, forget it, in Italy there are good dentists at the same price and if something doesn't go right they respond immediately

Avoid at all costs!
I am not normally the type of person to give negative feedback, but in this instance it is necessary if it helps other people falling into the same trap as myself.
I had spoken to several Dentists operating in Antalya and had received several quotes. I was unfortunate enough to come into contact with a "salesman" by the name of Klaus at Dentakay, whom after several weeks provided me with a dental plan and a price! As a 75 year old pensioner the cost was important to me as I depend on my state pension and ultimately his offer was too expensive. I declined the offer and he immediately gave me a "Final Price" which was several hundred pounds cheaper. Stupidly, and not knowing what was to lye ahead I accepted.
When I arrived in Turkey I was met by a member of the transport team and taken directly to the hotel. Unfortunately Dentakay had not reserved a room for me and I had to wait for 3 hours before being transported to another hotel on the other side of town!
When I arrived at the clinic the following day, I was immediately introduced to a "customer service" person by the name of Daniel. He took me into an office to take payment and to my horror, the price had risen several hundred pounds to the initial offer presented by Klaus. At that point he had no explanation as to why!
At that moment I should have turned and walked out of the door and left the premises. Unfortunately as an international patient I was in a vulnerable position so I paid what was asked of me, hoping that this would be resolved at a later date.
The treatment was carried out as per the agreement!
When I arrived home I contacted Dentakay to find out why I had been charged hundreds of pounds too much. The reply was that I had requested a temporary plastic denture consisting of four teeth. This had already been agreed during my initial conversations with Klaus and should have been included in the original price. Would anybody honestly believe that I would accept treatment and return to the UK with my 4 front teeth missing!
The fact of the matter is that they are liars and will do anything in their power to extract as much money as possible. They even ask you to leave positive reviews before the treatment was completed! I now know that they earn commission based on these reviews!
My case is not an isolated incident! On both my visits to the clinic I met several people who were not at all happy with the fact that their initial quotes had risen significantly. I would urge anyone who has experienced similar problems with Dentakay to voice their opinions - the negative comments stand currently @ 14%, but I am sure this figure would be a lot higher if people made their thoughts known!
