This is a completely useless company. Never ever use Deliveroo if you want your food delivered. They just cannot deliver it correctly for some reason from whichever restaurant. One star should be zero... See more

Another evening ruined by stupidity
Another evening ruined by stupidity. This time, it was the driver's fault. He dumped our food 2 miles away (and took a photo of it!), as he was apparently unable to locate our address. (NB this has not been a problem with all previous deliveries).
No sign of an apology from Deliveroo (but they have agreed to refund the meal at least ) .
They are way too complacent. In simple terms, they don't give a fig - time to boycott!
So expensive and late
So expensive, delivery fees on top of delivery fees. Never on time.
Deliveroo Discriminates people with Disabilities
"Deliveroo's official stance is that they support their disabled and neurodiverse employees by amplifying their voices to advocate for necessary adjustments and policies"
Yeah this is actually a bare face lie. Deliveroo actually does discriminate against those with disabilities such as their riders and the riders substitute.
My brother's substitute recently got his account terminated since he wasn't able deliver his orders in "reasonable time" they actually don't state what is considered "reasonable time" originally they had 2 delivery maximum. They recently introduced 3 delivery drop off. As a result my brother's substitute who suffers with disabilities with Autism, Dyslexic and anxiety was penalised by this evil company.
My brother literally told them in an email that the substitute suffers from all this. They literally ignored that email.
They sent warnings and we told them. You can't expect him to kill himself on the road taking dangerous chances on a motor vehicle and push his anxiety through the roof.
They terminated his account and he was in tears to the handler (my brother)
So if you think they don't discriminate. They most certainly lying to you. We have not heard back from them regarding the appeal. Now because I'm afraid of what they'll do to me. I mean I got a disability. I suffer with shortness of breath, osteoarthritis in both fit that my motorcycle was adapted for it. I suffer with arthritis in my fingers. I suffer from anxiety and other mental impairment. I'm scared to have my account terminated because of my disability.
It's disgrace how they treat us, especially the unfortunate who they claim are accepted.
Abysmal service followed by appalling customer service
Ordered from a local restaurant unaware Deliveroo were to deliver. We gave the code and were handed the delivery. Food order consisted of just 2 items of the 6 we had ordered. Carlos of Deliveroo took our order away and said he'd be back in 5 minutes. He then stole our our incomplete order as he never came back and wouldn't take calls from Deliveroo once we chased after waiting for 45 minutes for him to come back with our complete order. Customer Services effectively told us that because we gave the code and the delivery was marked as complete they weren't prepared to refund us or arrange for our food to be re-ordered. In effect we were made to feel as if we were lying. What a dreadful company this is. How did they ever get so big? I will never again order from a restaurant that use these cowboys. If you are unfortunate enough to have to use them do not give them your code before checking your order is what it should be.
Say 'add to your order' then when you…
Say 'add to your order' then when you do, within a couple of minutes, they give it to another shop and then charge you another delivery and small order free.
Misleading and disgusting.

food delivered inedible and only given 50% compensation, cut me off when asking to speak to a manager
This service is terrible
This service is terrible , I ordered from them while I was away working and complained about a meal I ordered .
They were unhelpful and didn’t help with the complaints. I will never use them again
Delivered Destroyed, Zero Support – Avoid
This was the WORST service I’ve ever had. My order arrived a total disaster – containers smashed, food leaking everywhere, sauces soaking and dripping through the bag, leaving stains on my carpet and all over my kitchen counter. The food itself was completely ruined and unfit to eat.
What made this even worse was Deliveroo’s response. After wasting hours sending them photos and explaining the mess, they told me there was “no significant damage” and refused to offer any compensation. The photos clearly showed the disaster, but they simply dismissed it and took no responsibility.
This is absolutely disgraceful. The lack of accountability and respect for customers is shocking.
⚠️ Warning: Check your order before you accept it. If it arrives ruined like mine did, don’t expect Deliveroo to help you. Their support is useless, and they will do everything they can to avoid responsibility.

Absolutely disgusting service. Haven’t used the app in 10 years but needed some food whilst I done a 10 hour shift. Ordered and never got the food. Delivery driver left out on the road for someone to take and never got money back. Disgrace! Don’t use
Don't order groceries from Deliveroo
Every time I order a grocery delivery through deliveroo, I select the option for refund for out o stock item.
I never got any refund and am owed at least £40 from them in items.
I contacted customer support that said nothing they can do.
Never ordering groceries from them again.

Stay well away! Happy to take the money without delivery and no refund
Refused refund despite not receiving my order
Ordered some groceries from Waitrose, received someone else’s order which didn’t have one single item I had ordered and paid for. I took all the necessary photos and spoke to THREE people on the night that refused to do anything about it. Was told to email customer support about it, which I did. The reply I got was there was nothing they could do about it!
Absolute joke and a breach of the consumer rights act. I will take this matter as far as I can because I am disgusted by this. I will never use this rip off company again.
What a colossal screw up - horrendous customer service- AVOID
What a colossal screw up. I order from Sainsbury's, vegan and gluten free ice cream, what do they send me? Mars ice cream, full of gluten and dairy, I am allergic to milk and gluten, and i pay to have something I am allergic to. I phone the store, they can't help (although they do have vegan ice cream in stock but somebody just couldn't be bothered to pack it and decided to send me something I cannot eat).
Deliveroo's response? They cant do anything until it's been delivered, and then I have to take a photo of the item, with the receipt and then they'll open a case for me. Ridiculous, lousy customer service, lousy system....and you pay for it. Waste of time, I rarely use this type of service as I just go out myself, I am currently poorly and needed some help.
AVOID, save your money. You won't get what you ordered anyway.

It would be zero stars if that was an option! Should be called deliverzero. Order delivered to the wrong location disputed this with deliveroo multiple times with customer service that sounded like robots to be told that they wouldn't refund despite them acknowledging the driver error. Avoid using them altogether

Do Not Use Deliveroo. Terrible Customer Service.
Quick backstory: Ordered a meal through the app. Meal arrived but the the bag the drink was in was torn and was leaking. The drink itself had leaked almost halfway out. I immediately took the ruined bag/drink to a nearby dumpster and threw it away. I was staying at a hotel so I did not want to bring a leaking bag through the lobby, elevator, hallway, or my room. After getting to my room I tried to report the issue through the app and was able to do this, however, when I was asked to provide photo evidence I wasn't able to (because I had already thrown it away). I provided a picture of the receipt that was on the good bag and uploaded it. All I requested was a refund for the drink.
After a total of 10 emails back and forth with 4 different customer service reps, I was treated with a "we're sorry, but because you can't provide a photo we are unable to process your claim." I was asking for a refund of £2.59 and they would not give it to me without photographic proof. I was not about to go dumpster diving. So I told them I would initiate a charge back through my credit card, post negative reviews, and never use the app again.
Well I guess it's obvious how this conversation went.
Michelle, Kimberlyjoyce, Clarinelle Grace, and Ralph were all unhelpful and unwilling to help out a customer. Terrible customer service. Terrible company. Terrible business.
I told them that I would have been happy with a refund and a reminder to take pictures of any issues should I have them in the future. That would have been totally acceptable. But apparently -- to Deliveroo, losing a customer and having to refund them anyways -- via charge back, was more important.
