Avoid at all costs…

There were missing items from my online order. I contacted them about this issue and they told me that they will look into it. However, I didn't hear back from them for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, Julianne from the customer service asked me to provide photo evidence. If I can't provide it, she said my claim will be denied and closed. It's been 2 weeks and you're telling me this now! I've never experienced anything as such. Avoid!!!

Two items were completely missing and…

Two items were completely missing and when they refunded the cost, they sent the wrong amount (4.65 instead of 5.10). They also refused to refund priority delivery cost despite the delivery being late.

Terrible customer service

Deliveroo customer service is rude and terrible. Don't order from them they put fake delivery times up and then won't let you cancel even when they are 30 minutes later than advertised. They then give you a £1 credit. Pathetic. I have done hundreds of orders with them but will delete my account

Close this mother down

I had the diamond plus subscription (~25£/month). They have the worst customer support. The order was always wrong. The customer support did not help. Their policy was awful. The solutions they provided were ridiculous (5£ compensation for an order of 50£ gone wrong). They talked like their responses were written by an AI platform. Even the guys from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia treat their customers with more care.

Never trust deliveroo

I made an order for delivery to my home address & waited for 2 hour but haven’t got delivered so i went to to help option & got a number & spoke with one of the Customer service adviser he said food has been delivired but i haven’t got it. I tried to chase the detail of the delevery driver & spoke to customer service but they said they don’t have their detail & can do nothing . I am never gonna make an order from deliveroo anymore . This makes me really piss off.

Dreadfully rude aggressive drivers

I have ordered from Deliveroo for years, whilst a bit pricey it has been very convenient. Of late however the standard of drivers being employed are abominal. The last 2 drivers have shouted, sworn and been very aggressive, rude, verbally abusive and disrespectful. Letters to HO are fobbed off. Will no longer use them. Not safe allowing these drivers onto your property and often, into your complex. I shall boycott from now on. They bring the names of the establishment down as well. No screening taking place obviously and can see govt point in cracking down on illegals doing this work

Appalling!!

I have had to chase and chase (since 27th Sept) to get an issue resolved. Deliveroo seemed to think that £3.02 credit to my Deliveroo account was enough compensation for a £26 order of food being 2 hours late and cold! I was replying to all emails they sent me and yet they still closed my case, even though I was asking for it to be resolved with a refund. Finally rang them, only to be told that I was entitled to a refund of less than 50% of the total cost of my meal. Safe to say, my account with them will be getting closed once the refund is issued

Order some food around 8:00pm to be told that the driver has broken down after waiting and hour for the food and I reordered and it took another hour for it to get to me and my chips were basically cold and tried to get in contact via the chat to be waiting for a senior member to be spoken too for half an hour and which no one actually spoke to me so I've resorted to email instead. They have lost my service.

Utter pants - awful company

Utter pants. Ordered a delivery from Nando's. First estimation was about 50mins, no probs. Then it went up to an hour and 15mins. still no prob. Then we tracked the driver - he left Nando's, drove all around the town in the opposite direction first - clearly doing multiple drops. Then as he finally arrived at hours after driving with our food for 45mins he delivered cold chicken, inedible chips, and warm salad.
Also - we noticed that as he arrived the estimated time went back the original drop-off time - an hour in the past - obviously some slimy technique to improve Deliverpoo's stats.
Sorry Nandos but I can no longer eat your food while you deal with this outfit. Its ruining your product.

I placed a large order with Deliveroo…

I placed a large order with Deliveroo for a special occasion. The food arrived cold and inedible, and after raising a complaint, I was promised in writing that the pending payment would not be taken. Despite this, Deliveroo still charged me in full.

For almost a month I’ve been chasing them for a refund. All I’ve had are copy-paste replies, repeated “5–7 day” promises, and no accountability — even after I provided proof of what their own staff told me. Deliveroo have ignored my evidence and brushed me off at every stage.

At this point I’ve had no choice but to escalate my complaint formally through Resolver, as Deliveroo has lied and failed to resolve the issue.

This isn’t just poor service — it’s dishonest. I was left out of pocket for an expensive order and treated like my complaint didn’t matter. I won’t ever use Deliveroo again, and I’d strongly warn others to be cautious.

Grabbing money with any excuse....

Like most of the other food delivery services, all they do is inflate the price, then add a service charge, then a delivery charge, and then a PRIORITY delivery charge. Today I ordered food - as the delivery time was showing as 45 minutes and I was in a hurry, I paid the 'priority delivery charge', and guess what - the food was delivered after three quarters of an hour!! I asked customer services for a refund of the priority charge, and of course they won't - because according to them the food was delivered on time!! Well done Deliveroo, you lost one more customer.
