Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.
Communication is poor and unresponsive. Very few stores are willing to work with them, and even those that do often have no clear guidance on how to process orders, which creates unnecessary delays and confusion for customers.
I ordered a bakfiets and was required to install a Tracefy tracking device (approximately €380) to meet insurance requirements. However, despite making this mandatory, they do not cover the Tracefy subscription in case of theft. Requiring an expensive add-on without properly supporting it makes little sense and feels unfair.
Overall, the process has been frustrating, unclear, and poorly managed. I strongly recommend choosing a different lease company if you want a smooth and professional experience.

For cargo bikes, the insurer requires an approved Track & Trace system in order to be properly covered against theft. Keeping this system and subscription active is part of those conditions. We understand that this may feel like an additional cost.
As for the communication: we always respond when we receive a question, but we realise that information can sometimes get lost between the dealer and Cyclis Bike Lease. We will take this on board to ensure smoother communication in the future.
