We are extremely pleased with the service provided by Cruden Homes.

Ashley Ridley from the sales team has been outstanding. She has always been very approachable, and willing to help whenever needed which made the entire process much smoother.

After Sale- There were minor snagging issues. Louis Jones, the Site Manager, has been exceptional. He has been proactive in addressing the issues we raised. He arranged appropriate workers and ensured that issues were dealt with efficiency.

We appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Lisa ,the sales adviser was our first point of contact initially over the phone then at an agreed appointment, through it all she explained everything to us ,was very helpful but not pushy in any way,giving us time over every aspect.

Full process was made easier by Mary’s customer service and communication. Highly recommend.

We have just moved to an over 55 development in Barnton Ave West . What a beautiful flat we have . We have been very happy with Alison the sales manager who looked after us from the beginning of the sale right to the day we moved . Very efficient . All small snagging issues
where dealt with by Brian head of maintenance all team of workman had everything sorted very quickly .

We moved into our new-build home in West Craigs two years ago, and we have loved both the house and the area within the development. Like most people buying a new build, we experienced a few issues along the way, but Cruden have always been helpful, responsive, and efficient in dealing with them. They replied to emails promptly and arranged any snagging work in a timely manner, which made the process much less stressful.
Ashley was always friendly, supportive, and welcoming, and we really appreciated how approachable she was throughout. We felt well informed at every stage, with communication that was clear, consistent, and timely. Over the past two years, we have dealt with a couple of site managers, but Louis has by far stood out the most. He has been approachable, professional, friendly, and extremely helpful, always taking the time to listen and assist where needed. Overall, our experience with Cruden has been a positive one

I recently bought new build with Cruden Builder and am extremely pleased with the overall experience. The build quality is excellent, with great attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship throughout the project.

As soon as I found Longniddry Village I knew I wanted to live here. The development is very attractive and conveniently located for easy train access to Edinburgh and North Berwick. Faith, in the sales office, has been so friendly and helpful throughout the purchasing process. I'm delighted to be living in my new light and airy flat.

We love our Cruden home it is the perfect size for me and my partner and our dog. I have a super garden and we love the quality inside and out. I would definitely purchase from Cruden homes again.

We have just recently moved into our First flat and we have fit in like a hand in a glove. The property is spacious and cozy and is everything we expected when going through the process of purchasing. Ashley from the sales office and Aaron from the site team have both been such a help at getting our property up to the expectations we had and I can't thank them both enough. Also a thank you to everyone on the site who continue to do such a great job.

From the point of expressing an interest in a Cruden new build to moving in January 2026, my experience has been extremely good. Peter, Michael and Mary in particular have been prompt with replies, helpful and friendly; all on site staff have been excellent and professional. I have had very few snagging issues and when I have these have been dealt with.
I believe my house has been designed well, the heating system is efficient and everything has a place and in its place.
The location is quiet although very accessible for the city centre.
I would not hesitate to recommend Cruden as a builder

Aaron and Ashley at West Craig’s have been brilliant from start to finish and made the process very enjoyable for our first home. Any issues raised were dealt with in a timely manner with no hassle. I would highly recommend Cruden and Aaron and Ashley

We feel incredibly lucky to have met Lisa at Longthorn Gardens in Shawfair, Edinburgh. Thanks to her, we were able to find the right home for us, something that wouldn’t have been possible without her support from day one.

Lisa has been fantastic throughout: approachable, honest, and always willing to answer any questions. If she wasn’t sure about something, she would find out and come back to us promptly, which we really appreciated. Her openness and transparency made the whole process much easier and more reassuring.

We are truly grateful for everything she’s done and for the key role she played in helping us find our perfect home. We would highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for their ideal place

I have recently moved into a new house build from cruden. Everything was as expected. The staffs were very supportive. Specially, Michael is very best person he supports every small steps. He suggest each moments upto completion of this process. He looks happy to work always.

When our daughter suggested looking at the one of the Penthouses at The Avenue we went along and were met by Alison who introduced us to the development. The concept and the quality of the homes was appealing and when Alison showed us one of the villas we could see that this was a home that we could happily live in. Alison led us through the process of reserving the property and went the extra mile to show our family over The Avenue and the villa that we were choosing. She has helped enormously in making a big decision to move to a house very suitable for the years ahead.

I was given the keys to my New Build property in January. I was in contact with Mary throughout who gave us monthly updates on the progress of my property which was great to keep us in the loop. Since getting the keys for the property Cruden have been excellent in assisting us with various things such as trimming our doors and kick plates when we got our own flooring down. Peter and Michael also have sorted any snagging quickly for us quickly along with any other issues

Lisa clearly cared about us finding our perfect home and went way beyond her role to advise us about the whole process. She didn't just look to 'sell sell sell'. We had a great day out visiting and it has really helped us to start looking ahead. Thank you Lisa!

The entire process of purchasing our new home from Cruden—from initial enquiry to receiving the keys and moving in—was exceptional. Everything felt smooth, straightforward, and even enjoyable, thanks to the team’s professionalism and support throughout.
Ashley was incredibly friendly and supportive, always keeping us informed and up to date at every stage. Communication was consistently clear and timely, which made a big difference.
Aaron, the site manager, was equally impressive—approachable, helpful, and very quick to respond to any requests during the snagging process.
We’re also delighted with the quality and workmanship of our new home, which is of an excellent standard.

From first point of contact with Ashley in September 2025 and thereafter my journey was made easy! A friendly, bubbly person who couldn’t do enough for me! Ashley was patient and always responded quickly to my queries & definitely always with a smile.

Site Manager Aaron, promptly took on board any concerns I had on my new 1 bedroom pad! All his crew who I met treated me respectfully with a smiling friendly demeanour and Aaron couldn’t do enough to resolve any issues I had, quickly and painlessly. Mark the plumber should also receive a mention!

Both Ashley and Aaron obviously love their jobs, and they are a credit to themselves and Crudens. Ultimately they are first point of contact for Crudens and they both provided a caring Customer Service to me. This should be passed on to Fraser Lynes CEO, I am sure there must be an in-house rewards scheme somewhere in Crudens for their staff!

They confirmed to me that I had made the right choice buying a Crudens home.

On that note just a few tips that Fraser might like to consider for future Crudens Homer owners
- A binder containing al necessary documents e.g.from instructions on Washing Machine, appliances Central Heating, Edinburgh Council recycling days printed calendar , general points of interest within the area that homeowners moved to. Although this can be obtained from websites it’s an unnecessary chore when this could be provided all in one place in a binder for homeowners.
- Welcome pack containing, sachets coffee, tea, sugar etc. Hand gel, or soap and dare I say it a Toilet roll!

Happy to discuss my suggestions ….. although everyone is different I just think a bit of welcoming pack would be appreciated. It doesn’t have to be expensive, sometimes it’s the thought that counts.
