As a wedding photographer
As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding at the Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey Priory ruins. The views from the venue are breathtaking, making for the perfect backdrop for any wedding celebration.
The capacity of the venue is more than ample for a wedding, with space for up to 200 guests for the ceremony and feast and up to 300 for drinks and dancing. The indoor barbecue and rotisseries in the open kitchen added an extra special touch to the feast, with food that was cooked to perfection over open flames. The guests were impressed by the generous portions and the use of the finest ingredients.
The state-of-the-art Funktion-One sound system was a real highlight for the evening, providing high-quality sound that made the dancing even more enjoyable. The late night license, until 1am, allowed the party to continue into the night, making for a truly unforgettable experience.
The Tithe Barn is licensed for civil marriage ceremonies and provides ample space for up to 200 seated guests. For those who choose to have a ceremony in one of the local churches, the barn is the perfect place to continue the celebrations with a feast and party.
In conclusion, the Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey Priory ruins is an excellent venue for a wedding. With breathtaking views, ample capacity, delicious food, excellent audio facilities, and a late-night license, it truly ticks all the boxes. I would highly recommend this venue for any bride and groom looking for a memorable and special day.
