Consumer energy solution review
Please research exactly what they do to your home eg. Vents around rooms with sink or water, bottom of doors cut off. Loft insulated to their standard and cavity wall insulation up to their spec. Electric inverter on outside wall with plastic canopy cover. Wiring from solar panels going over roof rather than through in less evasive manner as no company communication. Several additional electrical boxes by original fuse board, that it so far and am still not up and running. I work full time and the people turn without appointments while I am at work so projects always delayed rather than booking the date with the customer. Still no ASHP. Hope this helps.

We understand that installations under the ECO4 scheme can sometimes appear complex, but please be assured that every measure we fit — including ventilation systems, insulation, and electrical components — is required to comply with the strict funding and safety regulations set out by the scheme and the energy companies that fund it.
If additional circuit boards were installed, this would suggest that your existing electrical setup was not compatible with the new system — something that must be rectified to ensure safety and compliance with building and electrical standards.
Regarding your solar installation, all wiring and inverter placements are completed within the scope of the ECO4 grant. While we always aim to meet customer preferences wherever possible, the installation must follow technical and logistical constraints, including system design and safety regulations.

Jesus where do we start with this shit…
Jesus where do we start with this shit company, they don’t know theie arse from their elbow, I mean what idiots put pipes in a loft that you can’t access your electrics ?? Anyway what a battle I’m having with them, they also think they can just phone me up and say we are coming out tomorrow to resolve some issues (not the pipe work issue) ,,, errrr no your not I’m not home…. Only good thing about this company was Marcus Herbert,Patrick Rees and John Richards the solar panel guys defo had a laugh with them, they are exactly how people should be, they were polite, and we had a lot of banter.
By the way their electrician said the pipe work was in the wrong place and he couldn’t get to them so no hope if your over 2st lol… stupid thing our neighbours (attached to our house) have had the same company, houses both the same layout in the loft yet their pipes are nice and tidy and meaning everywhere is accessible….. I wouldn’t rate this company at all… Do not use them!!!!! Our complaint is ongoing since June and still nowhere near getting resolved….

This morning the scaffolding team of Lee Ellis, Ryan Owens and Robbie Thomas returned to place a new set of scaffold. Whilst here they realigned a small section of guttering, potentially sorting a future problem. Great job gents.

Raff came to survey the property and did so quickly and efficiently. He answered questions and explained processes. We were happy with his contact.
An electrician called Mike came after the surveyor and prepared for the Solar PV install. He was polite, quick and efficient. He explained options with advantages and disadvantages. He worked on in the rain and again we were happy.
Next came the plumbers, Curtis and Andrew, who were very professional in their work ethic, and they were very polite, tidy and helpful. Disruption was kept to minimum. They cleared up after themselves quickly. They explained options as they arose. At the end, a surveyor called to inspect the plumbers work and was extremely impressed at their workmanship, stating “I wish they worked on my team”. We are very happy with them and their work.
John Richards and his team came to install the Solar Panels. They explained what they would do and checked it was ok. They were a very polite and happy pair who worked in the pouring rain all through the day. They even changed their clothes before coming into the home to do the work in the attic. They changed tiles that were broken as they went along. They were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. It is a very clean and tidy install and compliments the building. Again, we are very happy with them and their work.
Insulation team came and put more insulation in loft, and trickle vents in windows, ensured correct gaps in doors and changed the existing extractor vents.
Electricians Adam and Conner again were very professional, clean and tidy workers, carrying out their tasks very well. And again, explained options as they arose. All work carried out to high standard. We are very happy with them and their work which is tidy and neat.
After each work group had finished, a CES van turned up and collected the waste that had been piled neatly outside, generally this was the next day.
We were kept informed by Elinor of all the events that were going to occur, although it was difficult to get an answer when telephoning the office at times.
We have no hesitation recommending Consumer Energy Solutions and especially the teams we had contact with as we were very happy with them.
