Horrible bank
Failed to issue bank statements. Failed to issue bank card. False claims that all is in order. Blocking access to internal secure messaging. A pure horror of the bank. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Exemplary customer service
I was contacted by the bank as they didn't recognise a transaction made. I was thankful for their diligence. This was a bona fide payment but I'm glad they checked as it was a fairly large payment. We've banked with Co-Op 18 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I just hope, with the merge with Coventry Building Society, that the wonderful customer service doesn't disappear. Unreliable and misleading
Please don't waste your time with these -there are plenty of other banks out there who will value your custom. I met all the conditions for switching and they let me down. Totally feel misled resulting in losing faith and trust in this inferior organisation.
Whilst they may come back to comment & say they'd like to contact you, don't waste your time as they make no effort to put right the matter.

The company invests my money in ethical causes which I believe to be essential in an increasingly unethical moneytarist world.
The staff in my City's only remaining branch of the Bank
are always supportive of my requests for assistance with personal banking matters. More counter-assistants would help with waiting at busy times.
I have been offered personal instruction into how to operate on-line banking but remain too technophobic.

I've been a customer since 2017 and I never had a problem with them. I moved from HSBC due to a fraudulent event. Never had problems with Cooperative. when they see any unusual activities, they will call you right away before approving a payment. And will keep the block until it's cleared.
