Learning a new language is not easy but our patient, very energetic and dedicated teacher made our class sessions more comfortable, astounding and fun. Strategies and techniques applied and executed like the flashcards, and practice to go with the daily notes made my learning experience fun and amazing. I absolutely recommend Citizen Cafe.

Learning Hebrew with Citizen Café has been amazing. Their teaching method is incredibly effective, and I’m learning to speak much faster than I expected. The practice classes are excellent and really help reinforce what we’ve covered. The only thing that would make it even better is the option to download the flashcards for offline use, so you can continue practicing anywhere.

Learning Hebrew with Citizens Café has been an amazing experience! The program is incredibly well-designed, and I’ve learned a ton in a short amount of time. The teachers are sweet, energetic, and truly passionate about what they do. They make every class fun, encouraging, and full of positive energy.

What sets this program apart is how interactive and engaging it is—they use games, music, pictures, and conversation to keep you involved and help the language really stick. It creates a vibrant and effective learning environment that feels both natural and enjoyable. I feel more confident using Hebrew in real-life situations, and I’m excited to continue growing with the program.

The only downside for me is the price—it’s definitely an investment—but the quality and experience make it worthwhile. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about learning Hebrew in a fun and supportive way. :)

Citizen Cafe has made an incredible difference in my level of Hebrew. All of the hype is for a good reason. If you want to actually get better at Hebrew, this is the way!

I have been learning Hebrew with Citizen Cafe for over 2 years. Every teacher has been fantastic and the methodology really works. I will be a student with them for many years!

I have been taking classes with Citizen Cafe for over a year. I started at a beginner level, and now I am about to begin my first semester in the "Freedom" level. Their method is always fun and relevant. I love learning with students from all over the world and making connections. The teachers are consistently fabulous. Each time a semester ends, I wonder how the next teacher will ever compare to the one I just had... but then the next one comes along and is even more fabulous than the last! I am obsessed with Citizen Cafe and highly recommend this program!

I joined nearly six months ago at a time where my life circumstances were very challenging as it is for so many, ESPECIALLY Israel! Becoming part of Citizen Cafe has somehow connected my heart in an even deeper way to my own Jewish identity, to the beautiful people of The Land, and The Land itself. There are no words to fully convey what this has done to me and for me … it has helped to bring further healing to my innermost being. I am so grateful!

Their method of teaching is TOPS!! Using repetition and continual speaking like a beautiful, perpetual song 🎶💞 The teachers and the support network have all been incredible: the teachers are so patient and engaging ~ we have fun! And the support, nothing ever seems too much for them to help you continue your own journey of learning.

All I can say is GO FOR IT!!
You won’t be disappointed … be prepared for the challenge but also for a lot of fun!

Having known how to read Hebrew but not much else, I’ve harbored a life long dream of being able to converse in Hebrew. In halfway through my first group of lessons and I’m speaking in Hebrew. It will definitely be a longer journey to speak and understand fluently, but I can see that it will happen. Thank you Citizen Cafe. The teacher is off the charts. Kind, smart, with amazing positive reinforcement.

Thoroughly loving learning Hebrew with Citizen Cafe! We have a fantastic group on Zoom from all over the world and our teacher, Roy, is amazing! We started at beginners level (Red) at the beginning of April and after only 10 or 11 classes we are already talking to each other in full sentences and writing in Hebrew! It's insane! We are speaking (and writing) the whole class and the 90 minutes literally flies by. It really is so much fun and the method is brilliant! I think that all of us are moving on to the next level (Orange!) in July! We're all hooked!

I love their strategy of practicing and breakout rooms, constant repetition, creating flashcards for us to do homework on our own time, everything is already set on the go for us even if we miss a class we can watch a recording. Great and highly recommend!!!

Citizen Cafe is a treasure. The teachers are upbeat, encouraging, and unfailingly supportive. I especially value the emphasis on speaking and listening skills, and the auxiliary materials are exceptional: flashcards with phrases that include a pronunciation component, listening and speaking exercises in "practice-to-go," and additional, optional live study sessions with students of all ages from around the world. I've tried other Hebrew programs but Citizen Cafe is BY FAR the best. I'm still something of a beginner but my knowledge and skill level have improved immensely.

Expensive but worth every cent. Can’t even count the number of compliments I’ve received on my Hebrew. Engaging classes, incredible teachers, and brilliant curriculum. 10/10 would recommend

I have an introductory meeting and have been waiting in a zoom room for over 30 minutes. they are not responding to my email nor WhatsApp messages. it is impossible to get a human. I feel like my potential business isn't important to them. After making the zoom appointment, I received over 4 messages confirming the meeting yet no one responds to me

I’ve been studying with CC for about 2 years. I really enjoy the method of teaching. Repetition helps me very much. I’ve realized that extra work and practice really helps improve my vocab and verbs. My teachers have all been amazing. Patient and very helpful.

Loving it. Great method and great energy

I started one year ago with Citizen cafe academy, and I am so happy to learn Hebrew, it is an exciting journey! The lessons are well balanced, the teachers are great, adapting to our needs and making the learning process fun and easy. I have learned so much, in just 3-4 hours per week, and I am willing to continue.

Citizen Cafe has given me wonderful learning of the Hebrew language. I entered the program with a baseline knowledge, and I have risen to a very high level. The instructors are wonderful, and the matching of students to the proper levels is right on. There is a wonderful connection in the classes, and along with watching Israeli television and listening to Israeli music, I really feel immersed in the culture. It makes me feel close to Israel and I would highly recommend.

This is THE BEST Hebrew language school if you want to speak—I cannot believe how much I am improving, and it is also incredibly fun! Congrats, you found the course for you!

I started the classes without any expectations and I already see, after 10 classes, that some sentences comes naturally to mind! Teachers are very friendly, classmates as well. A wonderful academy!
