Waited well over an hour for an order…

Waited well over an hour for an order to arrive that wasn’t mine. When I rejected it the uber driver was so rude and blamed me. I rang customer service and woman on the phone was so rude. Just kept telling me to wait longer. I told her to process a refund and she never did. Absolutely shocking service!!!!

Disgraceful service

Disgraceful service! Order was cancelled as the driver started he couldn't find my house. Requested full refund which they said would take no longer than 5 days, it's now been over a week and still no sign of the refund.
The number you ring puts you through to a call centre not in the UK & they don't really care and just read off a scripted sheet repeating the same thing over and over "5 Days" " 5 Days". Well it's been 8 and nothing. They don't answer emails that are sent so the enquiry form is pointless! I'll never use Sainsbury's again having been a loyal customer for decades. DO NOT USE CHOP CHOP!

I have just been scammed while trying to use ChopChop!

The Uber driver called me and said he needed my date of birth in order to deliver my ChopChop order. Shortly after, I received a message saying my order was “delivered,” but nothing arrived.

I called Sainsbury’s, and they confirmed it was a scam. They assured me I would be refunded the full amount.

⚠️ Please be careful — this is a scam. Do not place orders late in the day, and Sainsbury’s should consider adding a secure code system to protect deliveries and our personal details.

The scam call was recorded and came from this number: 07701 407034 at 20:11 today (Monday the 8th).

This experience was very scary, and I feel unsafe.

The chop chop service should be ..

The chop chop service should be ... Chopped! I won't be using it again. I ordered 8 large bottles of water amongst other things and an uber eats rider turned up at the store on a bicycle and turned the delivery down. The 2nd rider, same scenario. Then they found a 3rd rider also on a bicycle who was only willing to take half the order and then a 4th rider also on a bicycle brought the rest of the delivery. So because of this it took longer than the advertised 60min. On top if this as everything was sealed inside Brown paper bags I only discovered a substitution after the rider had left, that I wasn't happy with but had no choice but to keep. I dont think the uber rider would have even taken the substituted item from me.
Heavy /large items can't be Collected by bicycle! And there should be no substituted items that you have no choice but to keep.
Chop Chop.... definitely a No from me

I just can't believe it.

I phoned customer service yesterday regarding a chop chop order I made.the delivery drivers were having constant issues in finding my address.so I phoned customer service telling them can you please give chop chop my correct address.he led me to believe that he could do that.he didn't then he lied and said that the driver has taken it back to the shop and that he will refund back £15 when my whole order came to £25 .this customer service advisor deliberately wanted me to stay on the phone so I would miss my delivery that is why he lied and said my order has been taken back to the shop when all along the drive was coming with my order.how truly disgusting is that.he deliberately tried to sabotage my order so I wouldnt receive it.i find that deeply disturbing. I have absolutely no idea why he lied like that.all I do know I can't ever trust them again!

Ordered through Sainsbury's - Dire

Ordered through Sainsbury's. Got a first time free delivery code, then received my order missing three items. Called up and told all they can do is refund me in 5 days, not bring me the items.

Made a second account, got free delivery again to get my items, won't use again.

Shocking service

Placed first order today. Due 1.17. Checked tracking to see being picked but not out by time due for delivery. Rang helpline who B out me through to the store who couldn’t help said I had to ring chop chop again. Rang again but was told they’d cancelled my order. No notification nothing. Will Never use. The order can be cancelled within a second but I now have to wait 72 hours for my refund. Shocking service.

Steer clear of Chop-chop

I usually love Sainsbury- mostly shop there - however! Chop - Chop = An absolute rip off!!!
The cost of items - for anything Via Chop-Chop is vastly increased over its usual price - I’ve been matching this for a while now - as examples :- today’s rip off “offers” Sainsbury's Slow Cooked British Pork Ribs Smokey BBQ Sauce 646g (Serves 2) Chop price £8.75 normal delivery £4.33
Diet Coke No Caffeine 2L :- Chop price £3.30 normal shop £1.50.. and these are supposedly “on offer both charge £5 for delivery - that is pretty poor!!!

Disappointed Visit to madeley chop s has allowed…

Visit to madeley chop shop has allowed me to understand why the name was chosen.
When asked how wanted my hair l instructed.
No 1 on top and trim the remainder with scissors.
The female then proceeded to complete the work with clippers .
I complained to her and asked her to follow my instructions.
She responded with
I have been a barber for 10 years l know what l am doing.
She went on to tell me if l wanted scissors used l should go to a hair dresser not a barber.
I thought a barber was a hair dresser
First and last visit.
I recommend this place should be given a VERY WIDE BERTH.

Stealing money from card

Never have used services from that scum. Barclays asked me if I maked 2 dodgy transactions each £23. Then just randomly checked my account and missing 3 x £23 for fck knows what. Probably somehow scan cards and stealing money. Be careful check out CHOPCHOP on bank app

I used chop shop for the first time on…

I used chop shop for the first time on Saturday and it was fine except for the prices and delivery charge . Well I did use it twice more and today I'm not well so I decided to try again December 29th they really cocked up I got someone else's order with a number on that couldn't be from Sainsbury's . Uber driver started raising his voice on the phone when I said it was wrong . So I called several numbers to get answers , finally had a person who talked to me about it for 48 minutes she said I would be getting a refund but before that said I was using a different card number 🤷🤷 I was on hold for ages and she admitted it was their mistake . I will never use it again now . The explaining really exhausted me .

Shambles of a company I wouldn't even give them 1 star out of choice.
Don't waste your time ordering with chop chop as they will just cancel your order and make up some bull s*** excuse as to why. This is the second time using them and both occasions the corriour lied about anyone being home. They clearly can't be bothered to do there job and for an easier life decided to cancel orders last minute.
It amazes me how chop chop are still running as a businesses due to not making any of there delivery.
I most certainly won't be using this abysmal service again, and recommend anyone not to waste their time on such a shocking company.

Wrong order, terrible customer service

Made an order of £19 and ended up with the wrong order. Mostly very expensive items in there. Hardly complaining about the wine. When I called customer services they said someone would be in touch and I’ve waited a while and no one has been … so guess I just have white fish, coleslore, chicken legs, peas and a glass of wine now? Nothing I needed. I’m moving Saturday and couldn’t safety get to the shops (I’m disabled) so tried the service as usually I use sainsburys delivery and they re so good. Very disappointed and extremely confused on what I’m supposed to do with this all now.

Awful Service - Scammed!

Awful service, took our money for the delivery.. never bothered to turn up. For some reason gave a random amount back as a refund, a very small proportion of what was taken. Now were fighting them to get our money back. All they say is the payment was void... well my bank statement says it was taken. Its as if were dealing with a scam.. Sainsburys should be ashamed! Were never use this service or shop at Sainsburys again ...!

Appalling service.

Appalling service.. was late, chased it up and supposedly they were just waiting for a driver to deliver and as finished the call was immediately sent a cancellation of order email! Money taken from my account at check out so further call needed to request refund which would not be immediate. Will never use this service again

If I could give this review 0 I would. Sainsburys needs to end their association with Chopchop whoever they are ( 3rd Party). They did not luckily get any money from us but it was a inconvenience to our regular order because it blocked my bank card for our regular order! A major inconvenience and my card could have been declined with other uses through the day if I hadn't called the fraud dept at our bank! Sainsburys seems to be lacking understanding to this and are not forthcoming with satisfactory explanations. So I advise you NOT to use ChopChop

They stole my money and never delivered

They stole my money and said the item was delivered. When I called them they asked me to personally visit the local store and see if the deliverydriver returnedthe items to the store. The local store told me that I had to wait for an investigation as the driver confirmed the delivery. I was told to contact Chop chop after a week.
I contacted Chop Chop again in a week. There is no record of me ever calling them. I can't prove anything other than the fact that I ordered something from them. Never again
