I responded back and I'm very disappointed! What could I have done with this gel ? Is this a joke ? I have handled more "dangerous " medications in my life ! If they considered this dangerous! I was gonna use it for my mouth blisters and ulcers to numb the pain as it worked before ! I don't know what degree those pharmacists have but it's a joke !

I am livid. They cancelled my order for allergy/ sleep medication stating to wasn’t meant for that. I explained I’ll be using it for both and did another order. They cancelled that again and sent me the other items I had ordered. Absolute disgrace of a company. Will never use again and would advise to avoid!
Refused to send OTC Medication that I’d already been advised to take by GP
I ordered an OTC medication, and added some everyday items, which I wouldn’t have bought alone, but since I was paying postage anyway I added some extra things. When I got in from work I found two emails - one saying they are not going to send the medication, and another saying they’ve despatched the other items. There was no opportunity then for me to cancel the entire order before they despatched, which I would’ve done, or to discuss the medication and the fact that my doctor had already advised that it’s ok for me to take this medication more frequently than is usually advised, as I’m prone to repeated infections (and the OTC one is cheaper than prescription). The form they ask you to fill in doesn’t allow enough words to fully explain your situation. I gave 2 stars for very quick delivery.

I had a problem with the delivery company - Evri - but Chemist Direct promptly sent out a replacement. However the second delivery was also sent by Evri and was delivered again to the wrong block of flats. However at least this time, after some chasing, I was able to locate it.
I have no problem at all with recommending Chemist Direct - the problem is with their choice of courier.

I made an order at 12 36 on 23-01-23. It was with the courier at 19 35 THE SAME DAY, and on my doorstep at 14 53 the next morning. It would be difficult to expect any better service

PERSISTENT LOCKING OUT OF MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT & UNABLE TO LOGIN ON A NEW PASSWORD & CHANGE OF MY ORDERING PROCESS
The only reason I am only giving a 1 star is for the continuing issues with logging into my personal account .
The last times (historically) I tried to login to my account to make an order & it came up ive been locked out with a claim of too many attempts -so I changed it & the same thing happened & had to resort to login as a guest
Today (6/6/2022) I made an order for lemsips & exactly the same thing happened .I spoke to a member of staff & even went through the motions of changing the password while he was on & THE SAME THING HAPPENED !!! The staff member asked me if I would consider using a new email address & I made it clear that why should I -I shouldnt have to & really wanted to carry on using my email I have been using..In my view it's the fault of the IT system of C.D. & not me -Ive formed my passwords according to the rules
In the end I have had to resort to a decision that I am not happy with at all -& that is going forward , they remove my account & any orders I make I make them by logging in as a guest only rather than having my own account I have been assured by the staff member that I will get the goods I've ordered today as a guest & future orders I make as a guest.
This is a decision Ive had no choice in really because I'm pretty sure that changing my email address will have no impact & the same issue will appear
I hope they dont phone me to persuade me into giving them 5 stars because my result is clear & I am sticking by it

Needing some eye ointment for a stye and swollen eye-lid, I ordered what I required and filled in the pharmacist form. An hour later, I received an email saying they would not supply the ointment as either I hadn't given enough information or it was unsuitable. I had already tried four other types of eye drops, without any relief. I specifically wanted the product I selected. I now have the inconvenience of having to put up with discomfort until I can go into town and buy what I require over the counter. Ridiculous and bureaucratic interference into what should have been a straightforward transaction.

First time ordering the other week and I must admit, I was somewhat disappointed. An OTC medication was refused within minutes of le placing my order. The reason for using the medication was for allergies which is what the medication was intended for. However, with a small box, I put a small explanation. I didn’t realise I had to write an essay. So within minutes of placing my order, that item was refused and I only received an email. No phone call to get further information so that I could expand my explanation for use of that medication, verbally. I sent an email reply to the refuse email but absolutely no reply to this date. I must admit, I won’t be using this online chemist for usual OTC medication only their MenoFem which is a herbal remedy for perimenopause & menopause. This is because it relaxes me, makes me less angry/irritated/depressed/hot flushes etc. I found the herbal remedy fantastic and I don’t class myself as a herbal remedy fan either! 60 caps for just under £5 but then they want to charge you £20 for 2. This online retailer needs to review its pricing hierarchy as well as OTC approvals/refusals.
Pathetically slow dispatch and delivery
[I’m updating this review because a) ChemistDirect subsequently replied to say if it didn’t arrive by Sat, they’d refund postage and b) it arrived by Friday. Still not great, but certainly better than the one star on my original review.]
Ordered Sunday before a bank holiday. I got an order confirmation but nothing more. Chased on the Thursday. Dispatch email just after this. I received a prompt reply to the chase email, but they just confirmed it had just been sent by Hermes and would be 3-5 days. Seriously, do these guys know what year it is and still expect to be able to operate an online business with this kind of performance?
Hermes is a poor choice of courier. Delivery can be fine, but quoting 3-5 days and delivering sooner (which they sometimes manage) is not much help. They are also prone to sending lots of update emails “we’ve got your package” “your package is on its way” which don’t actually tell you anything useful.
