Worth it
I've used cerebral off and on for years. It's convenient without feeling like you won't have your needs met. I recommend, especially if you don't have insurance.

This has been a true answer to prayer
This has been a true answer to prayer. Life was hitting me from all sides for so long and cerebral came I. Just at the right time. I have an amazing care team that truly invests themselves into getting my mental health back on track. My team is knowledgeable, light hearted when I need it, and keeps a safe space open for me when I need it. I HIGHLY recommend, especially if you are in a rural area or work like a normal person and getting into an office just isn’t possible. Now devil’s advocate, the app can be a true pain, like telling you you still have an appointment even though it’s been rescheduled. But don’t let that get in the way, I truly do not know where I would be mentally today without cerebral.

I love my therapist.
In my 49 years I have seen a few therapist and was really turned off by most of their strategies. But one day I was surfing Facebook and saw an ad for cerebral I decided I would give it a shot again. And when I tell you it changed my life. My therapist listens and we talk like old friends and I tell her my deepest secrets and I feel so safe when I’m talking to her. I open up to her and she makes me feel so energized and relieved and calm and all around feel better about myself when I hang up with her.

Dr. James Brown
Dr. James Brown and I have been working together for about 2 years now.
After multiple misdiagnosis from previous different psychiatrists… Dr. James Brown read me like a book within seconds. When I met the doctor, I was riddled with anxiety. Intrusive thoughts. Depression.
I was at a point where I never thought I could find happiness, or that there was a point to try to get better. Dr.Brown informed me on our first call that I have bipolar disorder, and although it was a hard pill to swallow… I researched the disorder, and I started to understand. I understood myself. Why I felt the way I did. He began me on medication after taking me off a medication that was making things worse.
2 years later, I am happy. My anxiety is low, and I have found ways to cope. I am not waiting for the pen to drop… where I fall back into feeling depressed and hopeless, but not knowing why... Overall, I feel better.
Cerebral (the platform) has been great… but it was Dr.Brown that changed my life. I am forever appreciative.

The therapist I had was amazing but the…
The therapist I had was amazing but the company dropped me as soon as they found out I had Medicaid. Even though I was paying out of pocket! (And the only reason they found out is bc I checked to see if the monthly fees would be covered by my insurance! What a mistake!)
When’s the next class action suit against them so they can count me IN.
Of course they post a kind reply here and ask me to email them. Basically there’s nothing they can do BUT I bet they won’t refund my monthly fees since I had Medicaid THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS SIGNED UP WITH THEM. So no, the situation was NOT resolved and I WILL be participating in the next class action suit against them. DO NOT REPLY or ask me for anymore info, Cerebral, unless you’re replying to say my refund is being processed.

LOVE my mental health team!
I absolutely LOVE my mental health team here at Cerebral! My therapist was able to see me so quickly, there was no waiting for months. The psychiatrist was the same way! I got an appointment right away and was able to get started back on my meds very quickly.

Amazing experience.
I had tried in person therapy locally, but despite the kind nature of my previous therapist, I didn't get the help and support I needed. After looking up multiple online therapy options, Cerebral stood out the most to me. I was paired with Dr. Monzon and my experience has been absolutely wonderful. We've been working together for over a month now and I look forward to every session. She gives me great feedback, eye opening exercises, and asks wonderful questions that make me think and realize new thing.

Wish I could give this service a 0 star, I was wary about it due to Reddit reviews and their lawsuit history. I was shocked at how few questions I was asked by my provider before being prescribed double the recommended starting dose of a psych med with the possibility of serious side effects if not titrated slowly. (Standard 25 - 50 - 75 - 100mg increasing every 2 weeks) While I was prescribed 50 mg and told to increase to 100 at the end of week one.
On top of that, the service is quoted at $180 per 3 month period with a check in with your provider. What they do not add is that your “doctor” can schedule additional check ins seemingly whenever they choose. Each of these additional sessions will result in an $80 charge, if you’d like to cancel the check in it will be a $50 cancellation fee. So $180 per 3 months quickly can become upwards of $180 a month. I cannot warn against this service enough
