Worst service ever. My car inspection was done on 27th July, in evening I was given a quote and asked to finalize the deal or else I might lose out on it. I was at office but was called continuously to share the documents which I some how managed to get done. I was promised that the next day they'll come with all documentation and complete the deal by picking up the car and for the same I had to apply a WFH from office the next day. Through out the day I did not hear from them, by evening they called and told me I have not provided correct and complete information so due to that the price will now reduce and it will take time. Since then I have been continuously following up but I haven't heard anything from any one of them. I have also written emails which just said we will look into it and someone will get in touch. If anyone is in urgent need of money never ever go for Cars24. I don't think any service can be worst than this.

Pathetic service, they dont give call back they play around. Rahul or whoeber that is, they call and disconnect and dont speak. So thats shit. I am taking this to consumer court as i have all call recording and messages and screen shot of all scam they do. I got car which is sitting in their garage from 2 month. From the time i bought it, i made full payment but they give false promise.

Its shut, dont buy or sell them anything.

My experience with Cars24 has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I feel completely cheated. Despite promising me a sale price of ₹80,000, they paid me less than the agreed amount without honoring their commitment. This has severely eroded my trust in the company and its business practices. I expected transparency and integrity, but instead I was left feeling misled and unfairly treated. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Cars24 to anyone and will never deal with the company again.

i sold my car via cars24 (DL3* ** ***2) , firstly when you sell your car, they will ask you to sign on blank documents, DO NOT DO IT... secondly they held back amount of challan which was to be paid back to me once the challans are settled, i have settled all the challans, shared copy of receipts with them, still they are not paying back.. customer care is not accessible at all, after reading other reviews i wish i could have done it earlier.

It's almost 1 year i sold my car (UP15BA***9) to CARS24 and they have sold it to someone almost 10 month back. Still RC transfer is not done in the new owner name. When i call Cars24 Customer care they say that you are protected under their insurance policy but don't give detail why RC is not transferred yet. I suggest to all think twice before selling your car on CARS24

Earlier they told me that they are locking deal at 270000 and everything was closed . Then on D-day they told me that buyer has backed out, And they started quoting me price of around 2.2 - 2.3 lakhs
I mean I wasted so much time on it and was of no use . I finally had to sell my car through Maruti True value

I had high expectations from CARS24 while purchasing my car, but my experience with their after-sales service has been extremely disappointing.
The sales process was smooth, but once the car was delivered, getting support became nearly impossible. I have been trying to resolve an RC-related issue for several days. Despite raising a request and repeatedly calling and messaging the concerned Sales Executive, Manmohan Singh, I have received little to no response. When I finally managed to speak to someone from another number, the response was simply, "What can I do about it?" This is not the level of customer service customers should expect after making such an important purchase.
As a customer, I only expect timely communication and a clear timeline for resolving my issue. Unfortunately, neither has been provided.
I sincerely hope CARS24 improves its after-sales support because customer service should not end once the sale is completed.

Please don't pay any token amount in advance. It may turn out to be a scam. Before taking the token payment, they may not clearly explain the loan, EMI, or hidden charges. After you pay, you may be shocked because the final car price can become much higher due to additional charges. In some cases, you may have to pay around ₹1,50,000 extra without a proper breakup or valid reason. I don't recommend buying a used car, especially from Cars24. It's better to buy a new car.

I had a very disappointing experience with Cars24.

They advertise a free inspection, but after spending nearly one hour getting my car inspected, I was told that I needed to purchase their subscription to list my car and even to access the inspection report. I don’t understand how this can be called a “free inspection.”

After purchasing the subscription, there was practically no follow-up. Nobody contacted me, and I wasn’t able to continue the discussion regarding my car sale.

To make matters worse, the price they offered was far below market value. Whenever I tried to ask questions or negotiate, the representatives simply disconnected the call instead of addressing my concerns.

Overall, the service was extremely unprofessional, misleading, and frustrating. I would not recommend Cars24 based on my experience.

WARNING TO POTENTIAL SELLERS: 2+ YEAR RC TRANSFER DELAY BY CARS24!
Before you trust CARS24's "safe and hassle-free" promises, know my story. I sold my car to CARS24 in April 2024. It has been over TWO YEARS and the Registration Certificate (RC) is STILL in my name!
They generated an NOC for RTO Shimoga in June 2025, meaning they have been sitting on my car while exposing me to extreme legal and criminal liability. When cornered on the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), they gave a lazy reply that “RC Transfer is dependent on external factors" and refused to give any timelines for RC Transfer and told me I am covered by "Seller Kavach."
Newsflash: Private contracts do NOT override Supreme Court ( Naveen Kumar vs Vijay Kumar) . If this car is involved in a fatal accident or a crime, the police will come to my house, not Cars24 office.
UPDATE: I am not waiting for your bots anymore. Yesterday, I formally dispatched Speed Post intimations to both the RTO and the local Police SHO to legally document that I am no longer in possession of this vehicle. My legal shield is active.
I am sharing this on Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter etc to ensure other innocent sellers know how CARS24 operates.

Note : Thanks Cars24 for the response but these apologies and generic replies Cars24 has been giving me for the last 27 months when dealing with you through emails, but on ground nothing moves. Unless and until you move things on ground and provide me with RC transfer - this reply of yours carries no meaning and is only a PR exercise for general public. I believe you are leaving now No option open for me except going legal and ask compensation also for mental agony , stress and harassemnt caused by your delayed action of not providing me RC transfer even after 27 months of Car sale to cars24.

Bought a car from @Cars24 a few days ago after paying ₹11,000 for their so-called "full service." During PDI, multiple issues were discovered. Yesterday the car itself showed a Service Due warning, and today it won't even start. This is unacceptable. Customers trust your inspection and quality checks, but this has been a nightmare from day one. I and a few of my acquaintances have purchased cars from them - their cars are if questionable quality (they say accident free car, but actually the cars are accident damage cars).

Also, the documentation, RC transfer, etc. is a hassle - they don’t do these processes themselves easily - no use of complaining to them. You can search and see huge problems mentioned all over social media - it’s a scam company focussing on AI and all their top people have left and only Vikram Chopra is left (probably their founder) and he is busy in creating an AI heavy perception - ground operations, documentation, car quality - it’s all pathetic. Even if you get something here for cheap - don’t make the mistake of purchasing anything from Cars24 - if you don’t believe, just search on social media (Linkedin, etc.) and see what kind of complaints and their responses are there - you will realize that even their social media team is to only just reply to customers with some generic words - but they actually don’t do anything.

They show only car price on their front page and when you enter the website there is another charges waiting for you, RC transfer file charge, third party insurance, extended warranty 12 month, car servicing charges, I mean why you don't show final price when you want to add from behind, I'm very disappointed 😞☹️

I brought renault kwid two months back (Booking-HXYJQL). Bhaskar and hardik at kandivili branch are only after loan approval. I got scammed with my car as all promises were made before loan approval. After loan approval, they both disappeared. Two months of car being bought and m only paying for maintenance outside and plus things they promised were not completed. Wrote an email to their customer care but no revert for obvious reasons (to save scammers). Hopefully through this review, i can say to future buyers that plz avoid going to kandivili branch atleast for your car purchase.

What a shitty employee they have who don’t even know how to talk to their customers. If you say they are not interested to sell car to Cars24, they immediately become offensive and say that you will not get beyond what they are offering.
They even generate a credit score summary of yours, which is not even required. And is a security breach of your data.

Very bad company ..

Very Disappointing Experience with CARS24
I booked a 2021 Maruti Wagon-R and paid a ₹15,000 booking amount. After about one week, my booking was cancelled. I received a refund of only ₹10,005.32, leaving nearly ₹5,000 unpaid.
The sales executive, Mr. Karan, did not clearly explain the booking terms or possible deductions. Even after repeatedly requesting clarification and asking for my remaining refund, I have not received a satisfactory response.
I request CARS24 to review my case and refund the remaining amount if it is due. Customer support should communicate transparently and explain all charges before accepting booking payments.
Booking Amount: ₹15,000
Refund Received: ₹10,005.32
Pending Amount (as I understand it): Approximately ₹5,000
Please resolve this matter at the earliest.
I recommend not including your UPI number (9999388434) in a public review, as it exposes your personal payment information. Instead, share it only through CARS24's official customer support if they ask for it privately.

I wanted to sell my Mahindra 3XO and booked cars 24 for it, before inspection they claimed a value of 7.75 lac and the inspection team mentioned some issues in the engine which were not there at all. The car is one year old and recently serviced but he gave the engine rating of 3.5. Everything was perfect with the engine. Even after promising an estimate of over 7.25 Lac the final price they gave me was only 6 lac. Very much unsatisfied with the company and would not recommend at all.
