Second review- again same story i am putting
I purchased a used car from CARS24 on 18 April, and I was clearly informed that the RC transfer would be completed by 3 July. Today is 5 September, and the RC transfer is still not completed.

I have raised multiple tickets and complaints with CARS24, but every time I receive the same generic response — “we are working on it.” Despite repeated follow-ups, I have not been given a clear reason for the delay, the actual RTO application/reference number, or a firm resolution date.

This delay is now causing me a direct financial loss. My office requires the vehicle to be registered in my name to issue the parking sticker. Since the RC is still not transferred, I cannot get the sticker and I am having to pay ₹400 per day for parking.

What is particularly frustrating is that if a customer misses an EMI, late payment charges are immediately applicable. But when CARS24 fails to complete a committed service within the promised timeline and the customer suffers financial loss because of that delay, who takes responsibility?

I have been patient and have given CARS24 more than enough time to resolve this. However, this cannot continue indefinitely.

If CARS24 does not provide a proper resolution and a clear explanation immediately, I will consider escalating the matter through the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) and, if required, filing a complaint before the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for the RC transfer, financial loss, inconvenience/harassment and other appropriate reliefs available under consumer law.

CARS24 should understand that repeatedly saying “we are working on it” is not an acceptable resolution after such a prolonged delay.

I would strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a used car from CARS24 get the RC transfer timeline and their responsibilities clearly documented and keep all communication and evidence of any financial loss.

CARS24 — please stop giving generic excuses and provide an actual resolution.

Cars24 hides car issues with temporary fixes in their garages and sells the cars off. After a month or so when you start seeing the problem continously they will claim it's out of warranty.

After purchasing the car, I faced 2–3 issues. I gave the car to their garage 2–3 times, but the problems are still not properly resolved. They take 2–3 weeks just to work on the issues, and my car is still at their garage.

Instead of properly fixing the problems, they keep doing temporary “jugaad” fixes and keep delaying the actual resolution. The after-sales service and customer support have been extremely frustrating.

On top of this, I also faced an issue with my EMI payment where I paid the EMI manually, but additional charges were still debited.

Very poor after-sales service. Think twice before buying a car from CARS24. I definitely would not recommend them based on my experience.

CHEATING WITH PEOPLE
I HAD APPROCHED CARS24 TO SELL MY MARUTI SWIFT MODEL ONE DAY BACK. WHILE ON THE SITE THEY SHOWED ME 2.75L - 3.00L & AFTER INSPECTION LEADER ALSO CONFIRMED THE SAME PRICE BUT OTHER REPRESENTIVE FROM COMPANY ARE NEGOTATING WITH HALF THE PRICE.DONT WASTE TIME ON THIS SITE, UNTRUSTFUL SITE

Cars 24 team,
It is surprising that you intentionally keep the ratings visible to buyer as down so as to decrease the price to purchase from seller. This is absolutely FRAUD!!!!!!
Ratings visible to buyer side of my vehicle listed on your platform is 1/5 whereas one visible to me as a seller are excellent.
There are no ways to share screenshots here, else would have done the same.
1/5 rating for a car in best condition even after 14 years, serviced from HONDA service centre throughout!!!!!!! the person visiting as a buyer are also surprised for this rating mentioned by Cars 24.
Then your person calls that Cars 24 does not do such thing and asking him whats app number to share the screenshot, never returns!!!!!

I buy car on 06 august, and it has stearing issue, but sales representative assured they will repair it , they made me do all the payment and raise a ticket at same time of car delivery, next day they took car, after 2 days they informed issue is not identified yet, once it identified they will take 15-20 days for part order and repair work, I was not ready to wait that long, so i raised refund request on 3 rd day of purchase, I got multiple fake commitments but my refund/ repair is not processed yet, also raise consumer complaint and same complaint was shared with them, they are less bothered, no response no resolution no refund. Think before buying, check for review once online.

Worst customer support experience. They did a poor job with customer support automation by not keeping humans in the loop. I set up the appointment, but they canceled it without any notice. I rescheduled it, and nobody came. I reached out and got stuck in their infinite WhatsApp automation loop. very poor

I had a very disappointing experience with CARS24 and their Gurugram M3M Urbana hub.

I visited the CARS24 hub at M3M Urbana, Gurugram, and took a test drive of a 2023 Mahindra Scorpio-N. I liked the vehicle and decided to proceed with the booking. The sales representative asked me to pay ₹15,000 as token/booking money, which I paid.

After 2–3 days, I requested the vehicle registration number and service history so I could properly verify the car. I was then shocked to discover several concerning details, including 2–3 accident/insurance claims, 2–3 issues reportedly pending/unresolved for the last 1–2 years, and 13 challans on the vehicle, including overspeeding-related challans.

After discovering this information, I immediately informed the sales representative that I was no longer interested in the vehicle and wanted to cancel the booking. He told me to cancel it through the CARS24 app.

When I tried to cancel, I discovered that CARS24 was going to deduct ₹5,000 as a cancellation charge.

I contacted customer support and explained that nobody had informed me about this ₹5,000 cancellation charge or the applicable cancellation terms before I made the payment.

What makes this even more frustrating is that during a conference call between CARS24 customer support and the sales representative, the sales representative himself acknowledged that this information had not been communicated to me. At one point, he even disconnected the call, and customer support had to make multiple attempts to contact him again.

I subsequently raised multiple complaints and contacted CARS24 customer support several times. Eventually, CARS24 refunded ₹10,000, but ₹5,000 is still being retained as a cancellation charge.

I do not believe this deduction is fair.

I did not cancel the booking simply because I changed my mind. I cancelled after discovering significant information about the vehicle that had not been properly communicated to me before I paid the booking amount.

If the ₹5,000 cancellation charge is part of CARS24's policy, customers should be clearly informed about it before making the payment. A customer should not discover such an important financial condition only when attempting to cancel.

My request to CARS24 is straightforward: please review the booking records, complaint history and the relevant customer-support conference call, and refund the remaining ₹5,000.

The amount itself is not the biggest issue. The bigger concern is the lack of transparency and the way this matter has been handled.

I expected a much more transparent and customer-friendly experience from CARS24. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.

CARS24: please resolve this matter fairly and refund the remaining ₹5,000.

My car inspection was completed yesterday, and I was assured by the team that I would receive the final price quote within 2 to 3 hours. However, it has been more than a day, and no one has contacted me yet.To make matters worse, I have been repeatedly trying to reach out to customer support myself, but there is absolutely no response from their end. I brought a car 20 days ago I used for 10 days remaining 10 days due to some issues the brought to the workshop and they don't give proper response they take 10 days for a minor problem .....they are tooo much lier pls don't don't buy car

After inspection not recived any offer only time wasted and petrol wasted

First of all it's a fraud assurance company. People will call many times for inspection and will ask hhe quoting price. Will make payment from our end to live adds. After that people will block our numbers. Totally fraud. Finally they will ask the price which is 50 percent less. Please do not go to cars 24 all cheaters inside.

I got my car inspected from cars 24. Despite giving good rating .the price they quoted was on worse side. The amount we were expecting for such a maintained car was not upto the mark from cars 24.
Also they did not inform me anything about inspection fee. The inpection person kept me waiting for hours

Mere pyare bhaiyo, apni gadi kabadi ko sale kar dena but cars 24 ko kabhi mat sale karna, ye ek no ki fraud company hai. Maine apni gadi 22 april 26 ko cars 24 ki team Lakhraj ko sale kiya tha, but aaj 130 din ke bad bhi na payment mili na to transfer hua aur nahi to paise mangne pe mujhe dhamkaya ja raha hai aur mere se badsalooki kiya ja raha hai.

First of all, the salesperson who asked me to book the PDI was Sonal. She specifically told me that a 5–6 year experienced engineer would be assigned to inspect my car. However, at the last moment, I was assigned an engineer with only around 2 years of experience and significantly less PDI experience than what was promised.

Because of this, a major issue was missed during the inspection. I had personally pointed out a spot on the paint and asked him to check it, but he simply said it was gum and ignored it. After he left, the showroom staff themselves confirmed that the paint had actually been removed from that spot and that the car needed repainting.

I paid for a proper PDI expecting an experienced professional, but this entire experience made me feel that the money I paid was wasted. From the very beginning, I was promised a 5–6 year experienced engineer and a proper technician, but what I received was completely different. Honestly, it feels like I was misled from the very first day.

One of the worst service provider they dont have proper system to enable the customer digital and no proper support team to resolve the queries.

My experience with CARS24 has been extremely disappointing, particularly when it comes to after-sales service and warranty support.

CARS24 claims that its vehicles go through multiple checks before delivery, yet we faced issues shortly after purchasing the car. What was even more frustrating was the lack of coordination between the warranty team and other teams handling the concern.

When I raised the issue, instead of taking ownership and resolving it, I was asked to provide proof of conversations I had with other CARS24 teams. As a customer, why should I have to prove what your own teams have communicated to each other? Internal coordination should be CARS24's responsibility, not the customer's.

The warranty experience was equally frustrating. A mechanic was assigned to the case, then disappeared, only to return almost a month later with his own explanations and excuses. Meanwhile, the customer is left chasing people and trying to get a recently purchased vehicle repaired.

The biggest disappointment is that after paying a significant amount for a car, you end up spending your time, energy and money dealing with repairs and chasing multiple teams almost immediately after delivery.

This has been a mentally exhausting and extremely frustrating experience. Buying a car should provide peace of mind, not leave you constantly following up with different departments to get basic support.

This people are absolutely hopeless in terms of service, This people are completely bluffmasters.
They will only call for money, once you buy any service, you can Even contact with them.
