I must admit that I haven’t used Brilliant much, but I can definetly see the idea and implementation potential for standard schools etc.

The reason for 4 stars is that I started off brilliant with a 1 year subscription, and didnt really use their services.

A couple days ago i got billed for another year of subscription because I wasn’t aware of the automatic renewal. However, after reaching out to their support, iv’e been informed that I will get a refund for the latest bill, which in my opinion is good and quick service, even though I wanted money back, that they problably had the right to keep, as the responsibility of making sure I dont have any subscriptions, i dont know of, is on my shoulders.

Had an issue with premium got sorted out instantly.

Customer service is top notch. Quickly responded to my email and addressed my issue. Highly recommend.

Brilliant is a sub-par learning app that was highly recommended by online educators, but I'm not impressed at all. I signed up for a year of access but used their service only 3-5 times.

They trick you into an automatic renewal and hide behind their Terms of Use to justify an unscrupulous, unauthorized charge to your credit card. No email or notification of renewal was received, just a $130 charge to my credit card. I immediately reached out to Brilliant to cancel the account which I hadn't used in a long time and forgot about - they refused a refund. I emailed multiple times and they absolutely refuse to refund me.

With my first year costing $130 and the unauthorized $130 renewal I spent $260 / 5 for a total of $52 per use.

This business practice is why people distrust corporations. I wanted to love Brilliant, they managed to achieve the opposite reaction from me.

It's literally Brilliant! The app is very clever, effective and nicely designed. The customer support is phenomenal. I got in touch with them regarding a billing issue and they responded/resolved the issue within the day.

I've been using Brilliant for math for a couple months and so far it's been a great tool and I'm learning lots. Plus several other courses interest me like technology, Python, and AI. Customer service has been excellent.

The content is fun to work though and the range of courses is excellent. I had a bit of an issue with almost getting charged for a year subscription, but after a quick email it was resolved. I only gave 4/5 just as the subscription cancellation process to avoid being charged isn't very intuitive but honestly that might just be me.

Below average services, poor customer service.

Do not try this app. I used it myself and even after cancelling I was still charged £109 When I contacted support, Maria handled my case and made getting a refund feel impossible. After reading other reviews, it looks like many users have faced the same issue, which makes it feel like an ongoing pattern rather than a simple mistake.

Other apps handle situations like this quickly and fairly, but this one does not offer even basic customer care. Based on how my case was handled, I will not be using their app again because the experience was genuinely terrible.

I will be sharing my experience so others know exactly what they might be dealing with before signing up.

Brilliant is an app that I am very familiar with. I am a retired physician and a lifelong learner. It provides me with a consistent, concise, and effective way to revisit STEM topics and fit the last four months now, it’s been a daily activity. The content is thoughtful and logically arranged. Their support team is quickly responsive. I recommend this app without reservation to anyone who wants to delve into these topics or revisit them to refresh.

This app was brilliant teaching me how to code, but it can do many other things. It was soo easy to understand and helpful and support team was very fast and helpful

Good customer service experience.

Great for learning code/python. But if you want to actually learn with out restrictions. you will need to subscribe with premium. for "Free", And unfortunately i forgot about the sub and i didn't have time to use the app anymore. and you cannot get a refund even though i haven't even used the features or opened the app they will just take £100, with no refund. what a terrible business they are running...

App is very easy to learn and navigate. Many topics to learn such as coding and biology as well as math. Accidentally purchased year long subscription and they refunded me without hassle. Overall good app.

A truly unique and powerful little tool to keep your brain active in an entertaining way.

Great intuitive app to get the brain juices flowing again. I am 49 yrs old and just did it for fun. It felt like getting some small dopamine hits solving the little puzzles. Finally when I had a problem with my subscription, the customer service was excellent and quickly responded and resolved my issue!

Great online learning platform for non-tech professionals to gain a solid conceptual understanding of tech topics, including AI

My son, Eduard, has been using Brilliant for over a year now, and it has been incredibly helpful in his preparation for international competitions. He truly enjoys learning on the platform, and we’re very happy with the quality of the content and support. Highly recommended!
