Do NOT order from this company

Do NOT order from this company. I ordered one brand of knee sleeve, but received a different, inferior (and too small) brand. They will not refund your $$$ no matter what, and will treat you rudely after they steal your money. Crooks and thieves. A truly despicable company.

Deceptive, malicious, thieves.

Advertised one brace, sent another. False advertising, terrible customer service, wont refund, box came open and crushed and was wrong item.
This is a USA company, I think they should have to pay the fine & be shut down. Deceptive, malicious, thieves.

The Federal Trade Commission Act allows the FTC to act in the interest of all consumers to prevent deceptive and unfair acts or practices. In interpreting Section 5 of the Act, the Commission has determined that a representation, omission or practice is deceptive if it is likely to:

mislead consumers and
affect consumers' behavior or decisions about the product or service.

The Competition Act applies to all representations, regardless of form, that are made to the public to promote products or business interests. In cases where a person knowingly or recklessly makes a representation to the public that is materially misleading, the matter may be dealt with as a criminal offence. On summary conviction, the person is liable to a fine of up to $200,000 and/or imprisonment for up to one year. If convicted on indictment, the person is liable to a fine at the discretion of the court and/or imprisonment for up to five years.

Too bad I didn't read yelp reviews…

Too bad I didn't read yelp reviews before I ordered from brace planet. All the reviews are 1 star (including this one). Emily, the chat grouch, is the same grouch that answers the phone for customer service only she goes by another name. So right from the start they are deliberately deceitful. Perhaps she is the only one that works there. I ordered a 24 dollar brace and paid 45 dollars for overnight shipping. Never got it and never received a tracking number even though they promised to get back to me with one. Emily, the chat grouch, said it was back ordered and will be shipped today for delivery tomorrow. (three days from after placing the order) I asked to be refunded the overnight shipping but the grouch said NO. "Processing does not reflect shipping". So apparently all their processing issues are the customers' problems and not theirs. Luckily I have copies of all the chat transcripts so I can dispute this issue with American Express. She did tell me to go right ahead and dispute it but if they win the dispute they will charge me 25. What a pathetic company.
DON'T ORDER FROM THEM.

The rose back race for women is really…

The rose back race for women is really amazing. It is worth the price to have something that is made for your shape. This is my 2nd purchase of this item. It is very well constructed and easy to use. It may benefit some to go up a size if you have arthritis in your hands. It's better to be able to put it on correctly. I think it runs a little small. Or maybe it's the size for some shapes. I like to have 2 sizes.

Buy products from Amazon - better prices - better return policy!

I contacted Braceplanet.com prior to purchase to ask if I could purchase two hernia belts and return the least comfortable one. I received a very positive upbeat email, "No problem". So I ordered the two braces. One fit/worked better so I thought great. Since the email was so laid back I assumed their refund policy was the same. About two weeks later I sent an email requesting a return authorization for the second unused hernia belt. I received a rather snippy email saying they could only do store credit since it was past the 15 day return window and they could not make ANY exceptions and attached a copy copy of the fine print of the return policy. I assumed I had the usual 30 days to return the product and had they sent the detailed information originally I could have easily returned it within that window. So now the $35 hernia belt cost me $70. I don't need store credit and feel their customer service representative was intentionally deceptive.
