No honour: Disgraceful service, zero respect for customers' time, and a finance trap
I booked an air conditioning installation with BOXT, which was confirmed for Monday 29th June. On 24th June, with just days to go, they unilaterally cancelled my booking and lazily pushed it back by an entire month to 22nd July.
This company has absolutely no honour. A confirmed booking should be a binding commitment, but BOXT treats their own agreements like meaningless suggestions. They operate with the arrogant mindset that a customer's time means absolutely nothing, expecting people to just upend their schedules and wait around for an extra month because of their internal incompetence.
Customers choose BOXT specifically for the advertised “convenience, speed, and reliable timing”. Moving an installation by four weeks in peak summer completely defeats the purpose of the purchase. I offered absolute flexibility for any date even after they unilaterally cancelled 29th June, but instead of correcting their blunder, their team simply dumped me at the back of a four-week queue.
Worse still, their business model relies on getting you to sign a binding finance agreement upfront. While payments don't start until the work is complete, pushing the installation date back by a month meant they were trying to run down my 14-day statutory cooling-off period. Once that window closes, you are legally locked into the finance contract and trapped waiting for them to show up whenever they please.
I refused to be held to ransom or spend the peak of the British summer in a hot house while my finance sat in limbo. I have executed my statutory right to cancel the entire order within my 14 days. Absolute failure of customer service. Avoid!
Annual boiler service by BOXT.
Engineer let me know he was on his way and called at a time convenient to me. He was very pleasant and as far as I am aware completed the service efficiently. Also he did not leave any mess.

Easy and fast
Premier service from setting up to the installation
My previous boiler was capped of due to a split flue and I needed to get a replacement quickly. BOXT offered installation from the next day and with options to pay outright or over various options for instalments.
I chose the next day, my property details and from the options, selected the boiler I wanted. I could then add options such as the water softener and select my choice of how to pay.
Once all approved, I was asked to upload various photos, such as the boiler currently in situ, the piping to the boiler, the gas meter, the outside flue and the heating controls. This was all made very simple with clear and concise instructions on what would be suitable and fit for purpose.
Finally, I was emailed to confirm who to expect and the timings.
The installation was smooth and efficient, and the engineer Zain was very good. Thank you.

The worst company ever please please please dont order ... I ordered an a.c unit and have been cancelled twice they even sent the a.c unit ready to install without the engineer present, the company are un able to cope with demand and have just cancelled my whole order. False promises and not a lot else
