Our boiler was working intermittently…
Our boiler was working intermittently and it also powers our shower so was urgent. The process in ordering and deciding which boiler to go for and booking a date was a dream so easy. Everything went to plan on installation day. Our engineer Marc was very helpful and explained the boilers functions clearly and concisely. A throughly painles experience we would highly recommend.

The air conditioning units work fine…
The air conditioning units work fine however there were issues along the way…
1. The finance option wasn’t working while booking the installation which took over a day to sort out
2. The day of installation the engineer didn’t turn up, it took us phoning the company in the afternoon to find out what was going on. It took them 2 hours to get back to us to explain that the engineer would not be showing up that day and had not told anyone. We were then given the choice of 2 days later or a month after
3. The attitude of the engineer was poor when he showed up and actually told us that we should have told the electricians where the units were going the day HE DIDNT SHOW UP so they could have done their part. I am not sure how we would have known that could have been done and had to tell him that.
I was also told by another engineer to go into another room with my 3-month old baby when it got noisy, fine, understandable. But when I waited a couple of minutes as the route was blocked by one of the electricians drilling I was then spoken to like ‘could you not find somewhere else to go’. Not really acceptable in my own home.
4. The unit is not centred between 2 curtain poles and a piece was cut off one of the support for one of the curtain poles which could have been avoided
5. We have been left with 2 big boxes of rubbish because the engineers van was ‘already full’. We thought at the time it was just 2 empty boxes which could have gone in recycling however afterwards found out that it was full of the packaging, coffee cups etc which we will now have to take to the tip which isn’t easy either only 1 of us driving and a 3-month old baby at home.
Overall the units work great but the whole installation process has left us wishing we had gone with another company.

The service engineer arrived as scheduled, and carried out the service very swiftly... no issues were found, and he answered all my queries, thank you
Everything great when the fitters arrived
The continuous emails twice a day asking for photos of the installation which could not be taken at the time because I was in Spain were more than a little annoying and when I spoke to a person from boxed they just said it’s automated and we can’t stop it, which I don’t believe
Boxt did not do an on-site survey and the fitters would have had even more difficulty with the flu. I’d rather not be there to help them to work out how to access it.
The parts kit that was sent was incorrect and extra piping had to be ordered. In the parts kit was an automated thermostat in timer which I know they wanted nor needed because I already have one. And a system cleaner which the installer informed me was inferior to the one that I already have fitted, which is less a year-old.
Boxt I’ve made it very clear that they do not want these items back and that I will not get a discount for having had to pay for things that are not necessary and not wanted
If this is repeated across the box network, I can invest a considerable amount of money is being wasted not to mention other customers sending things to landfill
Other than these Nick, the installation went really pretty smoothly and the two people who did it were a great ambassadors for the company and a credits, a boxt

Very pleased with the air conditioning system and the installation team were brilliant. My only negative is that it would have been very useful to have had a pre-installation survey as this would have removed some of the confusion and concerns. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Do not use them
This is the second time we are using BOXT for installation (first time was for a boiler about 5 years ago) and it is the second time that BOXT is failing us as costumers.
The AC installation is advertised to take one day, and understandably to go in a second day as we have multi split units, but for us it took 2 and half weeks.
The main reason of the failure was due to BOXT themselves where the incorrect bracket size for the outside unit was supplied and the installer had to delay the finishing of the installation. Then the installer went above and beyond to finish the installation and ordered some more parts from amazon, because BOXT didn't or couldn't provide the correct pipe connectors.
After I made 2 in writing complaints and one phone call to ask why nobody gets in contact to fix the issues, someone called to tell me that they will contact me after the installation is finished to discuss my complaint. This didn't happen and it is now several days after completion.
Do not use BOXT for your installation unless you have time and patience to spare.

Turned up at agreed time to complete my annual service. Very friendly and polite. Explained what he was doing as he went along. Would recommend BOXT as I've always had a good experience with them.

Asked for pm visit. Had sorry it would be 11.00 to 1300 that was fine. But it was 13.50 so that was pm. Arranged morning to be there at 11.00 then had to rearrange afternoon.
