Uncontactable

They have an outbound number, meaning you cannot call them. They can only call you and quite literally let the phone ring once before hanging up- I didn’t even have time to sit up before they ended the call.
They have taken a minimum of 10 days for a single response

Simple and Easy Insurance

Getting insurance was made very straightforward and easy by Boom. When I was looking at the extra options for insurance on Boom website it was really clear and easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend Boom to other people for their simple process and the easy to use app as well as their affordable quotes.

​Cheapest price and so easy to use!
​I switched because they gave me the lowest price by far. The whole process of signing the agreement was incredibly fast, and their app is brilliant—it keeps all of your policy documents right in one place so you don't have to go searching through emails. Highly recommend!

Bad customer service

Unfortunately ive had to cancel my policy because the engine in my car has packed in and I have to scrap it. I have been trying for the last week to cancel it but the AI bot live chat would just tell me it was too busy try again later. I've finally got through today and cancelled my policy, ive had a payment of £90 come out that I was hoping to avoid. I've also been told ive been charged a cancellation fee of £75 and will only get a refund of £63.09.

I dont think this is fair considering I have no choice but to cancel my policy.

I then used the contact number to make a complaint and I was told to send an email so I also dont see the point in the contact number.

I will not be returning as a customer in the futur and definitely will not be recommending this company to anyone else.

You cant get through to a human and if you do they send you elsewhere. I think I was just poorly treated and dont feel like the company actually care they just want money
