Delivery charges are criminal
So having tried a lovely Vocation Stick Toffee Pudding stout at the weekend, I decided to go online shopping for more. Found it at Beer Ritz for a very reasonable (compared to competitors) £4.10 a tin.
Added 6 to basket, spotted a couple of other Vocation stouts that looked good, added to basket also, went to check out, entered my Northern Ireland postcode..... £28.51 delivery????????
Seriously?
I mean I know sometimes couriers can charge more for NI delivery but many don't - and Royal Mail doesn't either.
This is an absolute rip-off.

Hi Brian, sorry about your experience (and apologies for not responding sooner). We use a courier that offers a fragile, next-day delivery service, and this is what they charge for that service to Northern Ireland.
Beer RItz is okay. Delivery from APC i not
The issue was less with Beer Ritz and more to do with their delivery partner APC. They only delivered half the order meaning I had to take an extra day off work to wait for the rest of it. When someone is charding you £10.99 for delivery, you are expecting it to work. The other beer suppliers I used charge less for delivery and it worked without fail.

Shame about DHL
One bottle broken in transit and I’ve been told I’ll get refund. They chased up DHL when delivery was late and kept me updated so fair play for that… beer was class we loved it and will order more provided we get promised refund 👍
