The true reward is the Journey...
Entering the BC program, finishing it felt like a HUGE mountain to climb. But today, I stand on that peak, confident and empowered! I started timid, unsure of my ability. But the authority mindset has transformed me. I recently submitted my deliverable successfully and entered the internship program!
Sure, there were moments of doubt, like that time I retook a course 3 times to grasp the concepts. But looking back, the journey was so worth it. I am a different person now, stronger, more knowledgeable, and ready to take on the world.
And I couldn't have done it alone. The Cyberhero community wasn't just support, it was 100 pep talks, 50 late-night study sessions, and a lifetime of friendships. Their unwavering belief in me fueled my journey. Thanks to them, I not only mastered PCI DSS, but also gained a family that will last a lifetime.

GO BIG OR GO HOME!
How do I start...first off, I come from a Digital Marketing background and have no tech experience whatsoever, let alone, the field of Cybersecurity and specifically PCI DSS. With all the doubt and the mind games I play on myself, I said to myself, screw it, GO BIG OR GO HOME! I jumped in head first and enrolled into the program as of Nov 2023. It is now Feb 9th and I just applied to the internship program and waiting to be accepted. I can't believe how far I have come with no experience or knowledge of PCI DSS to now getting more familiar with it each day. It ain't easy, but if you put in the time and effort while going through the doubts and adversity that I experienced going through the program, You have to trust the process! At the end of the day, you have to have a strong WHY that will pull you through. Prayers and having faith as well. Want to shout out my peers and study group for the inspiration and reviews. They breakdown the framework in a detailed manner and give you all the resources to be successful. It’s not a boot camp that you just complete and you are own your own. Enrolling in the Baxter Clewis Academy was one of the best things I have done for myself and my family. They truly deliver far beyond what I could have ever imagined. I greatly appreciated the trainings on mindset. They not only teach you what the proper mindset looks like, but they equip you with the tools needed to attain and maintain that mindset in order to be successful. This is a powerful lesson that has helped me in so many aspects of my life. I do not have a technical background, and I felt a bit of an "imposter syndrome" because of this, but these lessons in particular helped me to overcome those feelings of inadequacy. Before I even comment about this great course, I would like to personally thanks Will Clewis for the coaching and motivation sessions. I don’t think I would have been disciplined enough to go through this in a timely manner without your sessions. I’m one of these people you definitely impacted.
Now, to you Boyd and Baxter Clewis Training Academy, thanks again for the masterpiece put together. I had no prior experience in Cybersecurity or IT and English is my second language after French. So far I'm halfway through the program and learning something new has been challenging. For the last 8 years and still, currently I'm a truck driver and computers in general haven't been apart of my daily routine in over a decade. To be this far in the program has been a great experience overall especially from my healthcare background but the community is nothing else but great we became a family for the amount of support that I received here. My success coach has been amazing and looking back I am laughing for how silly I was stressing myself and all I needed to do was to read and take it step by step. From Hippa protecting patient information to PCI DSS which is simply protecting payment card information and the extras are in the program which we will discuss when you become a part of the family as well. This program has really been beneficial for me and I've learned more about myself through this program. I have a science background so everything was analytical. Real cut&dry; You either know it or you don't. Here in this program, you're surrounded by people from multiple backgrounds including some people who have an IT or Tech background. Everyone here is helpful and I've had great experiences. The more you get into the program, you'll realize that you've done this type of work before, just not in a tech setting. So for me, I majored in Biology and have a Masters in Healthcare Admin so, HIPPAA is similar to PCI-DSS; Only difference is, HIPPAA protects patient records, PCI-DSS protects card holder data. It's really rewarding to be able to reach a level of self-awareness and to know that you know more than you think you know. Go after your goals and do the thing that makes you uncomfortable because that's where you'll find joy & receive rewards!

If I could leave Baxter Clewis zero…
If I could leave Baxter Clewis zero stars I would, however it wont let you leave a review if you do. This program is 100% a SCAM. I have the been ripped off over 15k for a promise of a Six figure IT job in cyber security in which i followed the entire program and like the commentor above mentioned, PDF files and pre recorded videos of how to complete a resume and study the levels of PCI compliance without getting any type of IT certifications. Not the case at all, I reached out to Boyd Clewis and his company to which i received no reply to my repeated requests to be indemnified by Baxter Clewis for no results from his program. They are all on the front end of great success stories and have a killer team of skilled sales people to rope unscrupulous people in bating and luring them in with the promise of a 6 figure IT job and all i have is a lawsuit for a 5 figure debt in which i have to get an attorney and go to court for DO NOT do business with this company.

While I understand your frustration, it's important to note that your ability to successfully complete the program and achieve the desired outcomes depends on your own dedication, discipline, and willingness to engage with the materials and support provided. It seems that there may have been challenges in this regard, as your engagement with your Success Advisor waned, and when more time was specifically given you to complete the course, it appears it was not done.

I think this Academy is very…life-changing.
I think this Academy is very informative and supportive, not just on the technical side but also the mental fortitude side. I know that most entering this academia already comes with some level of mental strength, at least enough to make the courageous first step, but they are aware that a lot of us (including myself) feel like such a fish out of water. They use something known as the authority mindset to help cultivate the inner professional mentality within us. Of course, a lot of us still struggle with self-doubt (to feel like a fraud) but one thing that has really allowed me to take all that I have learned with such an ego-less approach is that even when we land such high paying figure roles in cybersecurity, we will constantly be looking up things we may not know in the moment. This format really allows us to exercise the part of us that is hungry for an answer, striving to understand, and supporting us every step of the way as we do so. I have faith in this academy's results because they have backed everything they have claimed with the utmost professionalism, access to a library of resources, and support for those who seek it. One thing I will say, this is not for those who expect a handout. To just get it right away and expect to make loads of money afterwards. No, this is a tool to help create a version of yourself that will cultivate opportunities in this career field. It is up to the individual on how well they do by how much work they put into it. It's not about how quickly you get it, it's about how determined you are to grow every single day.
