I ordered an item on eBay on May 5th. According to USPS tracking, it was delivered to Asendia on May 12th and handed to an agent at their facility in Carol Stream, IL. Since May 13th, there have been zero updates—just a useless status saying “Electronic Notification Received.”
It has now been over six weeks with no progress. I’ve submitted multiple helpdesk tickets, all ignored. I’ve sent emails—no replies. I’ve tried calling, but it’s impossible to reach a real person. It feels like they’ve completely ghosted me.
The item I purchased was rare and valuable, and I paid £25 for shipping—yet the seller used Asendia, a clear mistake in hindsight. From the thousands of similar complaints online, it’s hard to believe all these missing parcels are just bad luck. How can this company keep operating while so many packages “disappear”?
Asendia’s customer service is virtually nonexistent, and their handling of parcels is beyond unacceptable. If you value your items, your sanity, or basic accountability, do not use this company. I will be checking all future orders to ensure Asendia is not involved. They feel more like a scam than a legitimate courier.

Awful. I've been waiting for a package for more than a month after the promised date and now its utterly unreliable tracking shows "delivery failed" without further explanations and without even having attempted the delivery (there is 24/7 personnel where the package was going to be received.) A complete scam.

Terrible experience – package marked as “dangerous” and never delivered
I shipped a valuable gold pendant worth $595 via MyMallBox, which used Asendia USA as the carrier. Asendia incorrectly marked my package as “dangerous goods” and returned it without notifying me. Despite multiple emails and providing full documentation, I never received a clear explanation or solution. Their customer service has been vague, slow, and unhelpful.
I have filed formal complaints with the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Attorney General of Pennsylvania due to this unacceptable situation. Avoid this company if you care about your packages.
The company is horrible when it comes to providing information on updates regardingo e of my orders. I had to search for it my self.

How is this company allowed to be in the market, and for what reason they decided to distribute my parcels is a complete mystery. I am very happy with DHL, please go underground, do your business in other countries not in Norway. Overtaxed on several items that I have already paid taxes on eBay and products that got damaged during transport. Never happened with DHL before. Avoid at all costs if possible.

They picked a package from a retailer, then they delivered it to the so called "final desination". They didnt exchange a tracking number so now noboby knows where the package is after 3 weeks. And still waiting.

I’m convinced that every method of transportation this company utilises glue for fuel.
For every purchase you are considering ( predominantly Chinese ) , check who the conveyor is.

Ordered an item from Etsy,who I’ve just discovered have an even worse rating. It was coming from Texas, it travelled through six different facilities then stuck. There is no record of it leaving the USA. No tracking number only able to track through Etsy. Have contacted Asendia by email (phone is premium number). Having read other reviews I will in future always enquire as to the shipping company and request an alternative to Asendia and if this is not possible I will not buy.

Ordered merch from an etsy seller back in december, it arrived in my country and never made it to me. I contacted them, no response. I contacted the seller and they very kindly sent me another package for free. It got in my country once agaun and never made it to me. The tracking was also incredibly slow to update. I contacted them twice, this was a few months ago, and they only now got back to me to let me know the package was sent back to the sender 2 weeks ago. Absolutely awful service, not only do they frequently lose packages or send them back for god only knows what reasons but they’re not able to answer your inquiries either, and if they do, more often than not it’s far too late. Do not use Asendia.
This is my second time I have ordered from Tarte.com and their shipping provider Asendia managed to loose both parcels! It seems like a joke but I wish I could laugh! My shipment stays the same, the dates or the status doesnt update. Tarte gave me my money back for my first one and said the package has been lost, so naturally I ordered another item and guess what, the same thing happened. Never ever go through Asendia.com if you dont want to loose your time, money and have a good laugh since you aint receiving anything but hope from them.
I really don't know how Asendia manages to exist at all. eBay suddenly used them for my purchase. Asendia tracking last status is dispatched by US carrier. ePAQ-Plus (their service) lists 7-11 days target delivery time overseas. After 25 days tracking still shows "dispatched by Asendia". What do they do? Throw the parcel into the ocean and hope that it floats to Europe? No answer from their customer service. Probably my review will get the same "oh so sorry parcels get misrouted and delayed, we are a reputable company" canned response. Wake up Asendia! It seems that you misrouted and delayed at least 2600 parcels! I will make a "non delivery" claim on eBay at first possible opportunity!

I’ve been waiting for a small package from Germany to the Czech Republic for over two weeks now – and it still hasn’t arrived. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve had shipments from China arrive faster than this.
