Extremely Poor Service, Unacceptable Delays, and Serious Consequences
I am formally documenting an extremely poor and prolonged service experience that has progressed far beyond a routine administrative issue and has resulted in serious personal and financial consequences.
Since March 2026, I have repeatedly been informed that my bank details had been submitted for verification in order to release funds lawfully owed to me. I fully complied with all identification and verification requests, including the provision of proof of identity and bank details when alternative verification methods were proposed due to my temporary accommodation status.
Despite this full cooperation, my funds have still not been released. Over an extended period and following numerous follow-ups, I have received:
No clear explanation for the continued delay
No confirmed or reliable timeline for payment
No evidence of active progression or meaningful escalation
Only repeated statements that a response is “awaited”
At no point has there been a clear demonstration of accountability, urgency, or effective case management. This lack of transparency and resolution is wholly unacceptable, particularly given the regulatory obligations of the firm involved.
Serious Personal and Financial Impact
As a direct result of these delays, I have been unable to proceed with a related civil matter concerning my personal property. This has materially affected my ability to take timely action and has now resulted in a serious risk that items of significant financial and personal value may have been:
Lost
Removed
Interfered with
Or otherwise mishandled
These items include—though may not be limited to—appliances, furniture, and other personal belongings. The resulting impact has been substantial, not only financially but also emotionally and practically, given my circumstances at the time.
Escalation and Formal Reporting
Due to the seriousness of the situation, the absence of meaningful progress, and the consequential harm caused, I have:
Formally escalated the matter
Reported it to the relevant authorities
Initiated steps to ensure the issue is properly reviewed and held to account
Despite this, I am still awaiting a clear, documented, and accountable resolution, including confirmation of where the process currently stands, why payment has not been released, and what immediate steps are being taken to resolve the matter without further delay.
Conclusion and Advisory to Others
This experience reflects unacceptable delays, inadequate communication, and a lack of effective escalation, resulting in serious consequences that should never arise from routine regulatory or administrative processes. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution and to insist on clear timelines, documented confirmations, and prompt escalation if similar issues arise.
I remain entitled to a lawful, timely release of funds and a clear explanation for the failures that have occurred to date.

Whilst talking to Mary, she was extremely patient and understanding of what I am going. Taking the time to allow me to explain and giving me time to 'gather myself'.
Mary gave me important information in a clear manner and gain my understanding of the next steps. Because of this I feel so much better about my situation without lessening it's importance.

I spoke to 2 different people who were absolutely lovely and really put my mind at rest really made me feel like they wanted to help. The phone calls I’ve made have definitely made me less anxious to ring in the future.

Constant calls from this company. Had an income and expenditure form to fill in, no time to fill it in. We then get a letter threatning court action. You are a terrible company.

Very helpful lady. Good listener and helpful to the point of going beyond expected.
The staff member, M, who I dealt with mostly was very sympathic and patient and came across like wanting to help and achieve the best outcome.

I today spoke with a lady called Carol Greenwood..The lady had endless time and compassion towards me. I suffer from both physical and mental problems and she was an absolute star at making me feel at ease.

Mr Blore was excellent to work alongside in getting to a result that both parties were happy with. His information and help was clear and precise but delivered in a friendly way. This made getting to the right outcome easier and less daunting. I
would recommend his services with confidence to anyone who was in a similar situation to myself and needed the right guidance.

Previous review removed - feeble attempt to pretend I'd reviewed the wrong company.
I have their letters.
Pretending to act for Santander except Santander pretend it's Ascent.
A £9,000 bill for legal services was "a mistake" - £950 the real figure
Not a margin of error.
My advisor Kadi was empathetic knowledgeable and took time to understand my problems. She was professional but helpful delivering clear advice. Thankyou Kadi
