Jacked up prices and promises of the Earth but got buried instead!

My Sister requested to exhibit in Malvern Theatre,Worcestershire because she was born in Worcestershire, and was informed that she would be accepted "As long as she hiked up her prices" to Artgallery specifications. She was told that her work would be "Exhibited in the "Bistro" but upon her arrival from Essex last February she discovered that her work would be "Upstairs" but that was fine,at least she was getting exposure which is what art is all about!
Here lies the problem though. All of Our Family live in Worcester and as the exhibit was supposed to last 7 weeks in total,my Sister after staying a few days noticed there was a strap across the stairs that led to her "Artwork",so No Footfall as was promised by Artgallery. She returned back to Essex after discovering that in the few days she was in the area, the "No Entry Strap" was constantly across the stairs leading to her Artwork Exhibit, which the Family wanted to see but were unable to access the upstairs gallery, so none of the artwork was within reach to any visitors including her family members even when there was a show on!After I visited the Exhibition to find yet again the "No Entry" strap was yet again in situ,I told my Sister on the telephone and she made contact with the "Curator" to have all the work taken down with 4 weeks left to run and her Daughter would "Remove" them on a specific day.
My Sister was devastated, very upset and angry at the treatment she received from this company, and once the artwork was "Down" she telephoned Artgallery to voice her absolute disgust at the way she had been treated. She requested her annual fee back, which was accepted eventually, and was then told that "Artgallery would NOT be able to accommodate her any longer on their website and got kicked off the site for Rocking the boat"!for making Artgallery "Look Unprofessional".Her experience with the Admin of this money grabbing website sent her on a downward spiral and it took at least 10 months for her to pick up a paint brush again, such was her huge depression that came about due to prices that she felt was "Out of the question",their broken promises and the inept attitude of the so called "Professionals" who pretend to Promote, but line their own pockets with extortionate prices that beggars belief.
Now my Sister works for the pleasure and if she makes sales it's a bonus, but she will never accept Artgallery as a "Reputable Company" because it cost her Dearly both physically & mentally but most of all it took her ability to paint away for almost a year and that "Crucified" her.
If people wish to visit that's fine but be warned"The prices are "Not the Artists Prices" it's the company demanding they are "Worth their While" percentage wise to exhibit artwork on behalf of the Creator.
My Sister will never forget or forgive this so called company for knocking her confidence to such an extreme that she was "Giving up" her creativity through such a very Bad Experience with this dreadful place.

Superb service, personal care -cannot fault this company - would that others were as good!

I wanted to buy some affordable original artwork for the living room and heard about this site. The choice was fantastic - from as little as £25, but there is artwork there for hundreds of pounds too. So much to choose from in every taste!

I've bought 4 small works of art and each time I got personal emails from Aileen and Mike letting me know what was happening. The art arrived within a couple of days and had a personal note from the artist too. I noticed that one of the mounts was about 1/2 " less wide and contacted the gallery. Not a problem, the artist fixed this without wanting the original mount back. Then I received a telephone call from Aileen to let me know what was happening. This kind of service is very special these days - old fashioned courtesy and high standards. Will definitely buy from them again and would recommend to anyone
