No racket, no refund and no response

No racket, no refund and completely ignoring emails and not responding.
Would not use again. Charge back activated.

****Update:*****

After I posted this review, you responded on Trustpilot within 18 hours. While you have responded publicly here, my original four emails, sent over a week ago, remain unanswered.

The issue is not the Trustpilot response; it is the lack of response to my emails and the poor communication throughout this process. Customers should not have to leave a public review to receive a response to their enquiries.

As a result, I have initiated a chargeback. When a customer purchases goods, they should reasonably expect those goods to be delivered and to receive appropriate customer support if issues arise. Unfortunately, neither was provided in this case.

Hi there, we cannot refund while a chargeback is open as the bank has a hold of the transaction, we’re happy to help with a refund if the chargeback is removed.

New racket bounce!

Ordered a racket and gave some rough details of how I play/tension and previous rackets, and asked for a recommendation. I got a hand written note explaining the tension, string type and why they went slightly higher on the tension, and the string they chose. They obviously love what they do, great service. Will definitely get all my gear here from now on

Excellent, product and process of ordering

My son is turning 12 and asked for some dampeners for his tennis racket. I was so pleased to find some affordable Wimbledon ones for his babolat racket so easily. They arrived within 24 hours, with fedex giving me regular updates, and are perfect. My son is going to be really pleased with them and I would revisit this website before any other in the future for more tennis equipment. Thank you to Ross and team.

Enthusiastic new customer left disappointed, inconvenienced and ignored.

Discovered ATT through Sean Hodkin's YT channel where he reviews rackets from ATT.
Found their impressive website, impressive variety of products, impressive customisation options.
Reached out to help@ATT to check product availability and enquire about some special requests.
Had an excellent response from Jessi, very positive and helpful.
Placed an order online for £500 worth of goods, including two rackets, that included some special requests.
All good up until this point.

Then, time passed with no updates about the progress of the order.
Sent emails to help/orders@ATT asking for updates, did receive a reply from Jessi - 'rackets arrived at the warehouse on priority list to be strung'.
Then, no further correspondence received. Placed the order on 24 May, with nothing dispatched or received by 28 June.

Left in limbo, not receiving any replies to email requests for updates, best weeks of the tennis season disappearing, growing more and more disappointed and frustrated with the lack of customer service.

All it needed was a quick email to explain the delay, didn't get one, so had no choice but to dispute the payment with my credit card company to retrieve my money, and submit complaints to Trading Standards and Shopify about the poor customer service from ATT.

Not yet received any kind of explanation or apology from ATT, and looking at the other 1 star reviews here, not expecting to get a genuine one.

AVOID this place

AVOID this place — we wish we had.

My girlfriend and I went in as complete novices to buy our first rackets, one each. The staff member Thomas Stilwell assured us he'd been in the business for "20 years," which I highly doubt due to his lack of knowledge and knew exactly what he was talking about. He did not at all.

Thomas Stilwell fitted my girlfriend with grip size 0 when she's actually a 2, and fitted me with a 3 when I'm a 4. He sold her a 255g racket — a spec more suited to a child — despite her being an adult beginner. He also told us to restring it with multifilament. She went on to develop wrist pain and our doctor has confirmed that it was caused by playing with a racket that was too light and unsuitable for her.

I told him, I swing hard and wanted control. He sold me a Babolat Pure Drive, a racket built for the opposite. Again, wrong grip size. Also told me to restring this too.

Then we went back with two rackets in new condition and were told we could no longer get a refund or exchange because they'd been restrung — on their own staff's advice. Ridiculous!

Extremely incompetent. No real knowledge of fitting or of the rackets he was selling.

We later went to Racket Kingdom and the difference was night and day. The staff member spent close to an hour with us, asked real questions about our swing style and strength, actually measured our hands and properly explained why everything we'd been sold at All Things Tennis was completely WRONG. We walked out properly fitted for the first time.

Use Racket Kingdom — it will be your best option.

Hi Arri,

We're disappointed to read your review and feel it's important to provide some additional context for anyone reading.

Firstly, racket fitting is not an exact science, and there is rarely one universally "correct" specification. Our recommendations are based on the information provided by the customer, their experience level, playing style and our team's experience.

A few points we'd like to clarify:

• Grip sizing has evolved considerably over the years. Measuring a player's hand using the traditional ruler or finger-gap method is now considered an increasingly outdated approach, dating back to when players generally used flatter, more continental grip styles. Modern tennis has shifted towards heavier topspin and more semi-western and western grips, meaning many players now prefer a smaller grip size to allow for greater racket-head speed and easier grip changes. Today, grip sizes 2 and 3 account for the overwhelming majority of adult male players, with size 4 now being comparatively uncommon. Grip size is ultimately a matter of personal preference rather than an exact measurement.

• We recommended multifilament strings because they are widely regarded as the softest and most arm-friendly strings available, making them the most common recommendation for beginner and intermediate players looking for comfort.

• A 255g racket is a full-length (27-inch) adult tennis racket. While it is one of the lighter specifications available, it is designed specifically for adult players who are new to the game or prefer an easier-to-swing racket. It is by no means a children's racket.

When you contacted us after your purchase, we listened to your concerns and explained that, in line with our returns policy, the rackets had both been used on court and restrung, meaning they could no longer be returned or exchanged as new.

Despite this, we still wanted to help. We restrung both rackets again free of charge, customised your partner's racket by adding weight after you felt it was too light, and increased the grip sizes on both rackets at no cost following your request.

We appreciate that another retailer has recommended different specifications. This is not uncommon within tennis, where experienced retailers, coaches and stringers can often have differing opinions on racket setup, grip size and specifications.

While we're sorry that our recommendations did not meet your expectations, we are confident they were made in good faith based on the information available at the time, and we believe we made every reasonable effort to assist you after your purchase.

We wish you both the very best with your tennis going forward.

Hi,

We're sorry to hear that you've experienced an issue with your delivery.

According to the FedEx tracking information, your parcel is recorded as having been successfully delivered. We appreciate that you are disputing this, and we understand how frustrating that must be if you have not received your order.

We've resent your FedEx tracking details to your email so that you have the latest delivery information available.

Should a chargeback be raised with your card provider, the payment is placed into dispute while the bank investigates. During this process, the transaction funds are withheld from us, and we are also charged a fee by the card provider. For this reason, we are unable to issue a replacement or refund until the chargeback investigation has been concluded.

If the investigation determines that the parcel has not been correctly delivered, we will of course work with both FedEx and your card provider to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your patience while the delivery dispute is investigated.

Great selection

Great selection, with relevant information, on the website. Bought a good quality padel racquet on a very good offer. Also just received my new HEAD padel shoes. Fab products, speedy delivery too.
