We have 13 dogs and 5 cats, and are longtime animal rescuers. We needed Gabapentin for our 14 1/2 year old English Springer Spaniel, who has bone on bone in her back right knee. We normally order everything from Chewy, which we love Chewy, but they only had the compounded Gabapentin, which our veterinarian of 15 years does not like compounded medications, besides the fact Chewy did not have the 100mg we needed. I did a search and found Allivet, and they were extremely helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had. She was also given Meloxicam, which we also ordered from Allivet, however she had a serious reaction to it and we thought we were going to lose her. Fortunately, after a couple of days, the Meloxicam wore off, and she is now doing very well. When we thought we were going to lose her, Allivet sent us very nice emails offering condolences, however, when I told them she was doing well, they were very happy and we are now waiting on our second shipment. I do think the shipping costs are a bit high, they were more than the medication, but I understand fuel prices are high right now, but the whole order was only $9.95. We will continue to use Allivet for our pet's medication needs as we have mostly senior dogs. I would very highly recommend them. Again, nothing against Chewy, but for medications, Allivet is definitely the best!

The USPS was very slow in getting BluIvys script to your facility. She only had 4 days of meds left and your facility over nited it to me. So thankful she didnt run out!!

Allivet was amazing for our dog Nicki's auto ship of meds for his heart congestion. It was a relief to know that his meds would arrive on time and at the exact dosage his vet recommended; that made it so easy to have his pills on hand without having to drive anywhere or have a delay of any kind. Our wonderful Nicki passed away the day his order arrived. I reached out to customer service to see if I could return the meds since they hadn't even been opened yet and was told no, prescription meds couldn't be returned - which I understood completely. I was going to just donate the meds and forget the cost, of course, even though they were higher priced. At this point, I was too upset to worry about the cost. However, without me even asking, Allivet said while they couldn't take a return on the meds, they were refunding me. I was shocked. The company and staff were so kind sending sympathy emails and genuinely caring. A business with heart is rarer these days. I would definitely use them again.

I like the prices of Allivet, but they make it really difficult to cancel autoship. It’s hard to find the link to do so, then one has to select cancel several times in order for it to actually be cancelled. That’s just wrong.

The price was great, delivery good, correspondence was knowledgeable and helpful. Ty hopefully things remain good. Ty

I submitted a request for Trifexis several weeks before I needed for my dog. No fax or email was presented to my veterinarian. At this point in time, my dog was overdue for her monthly medication and I had to cancel it. My former vet would not work with this company either due to lack of communication as well. I do not recommend this company.

We have auto delivery every 2 wks for 1 of 2 meds. I get an email telling me when it will be shipped (the same day I've requested) yet they ship a few days early *every time*. When I've asked why this happens I've been told they ship a few days ahead. Why? What's the purpose of even having an auto delivery date if it's not being adhered to?

I’ve been using Allivet for years!! The auto ship is very convenient. They notify you when your order is about to ship. The customer service is top notch, and the prices are great. I’m very happy with them..🐾🐾🐾🐾

Great prices... terribly convoluted ordering, processing and shipping.
I signed up because of the fantastic pricing, but I have not ever received an order on time. I don't know what the problem is, but their whole process for requesting, receiving, and reviewing prescriptions is completely broken. Might as well be using smoke signals. Their promise of quick shipping in 1-3 business days? Forget it. Every order I've placed has been delayed. Every time I've ordered from Allivet, I've needed to place an emergency order with expedited shipping from somewhere else in order to get what I need in time. By the time you've called them, called your vet, ask your vet to call them, asked them to call your vet, fax, check to see if the fax got there, check to see if the fax got lost, re-faxed, called again... your pet might be dead. Auto-ship is a joke, especially if you are trying to order a bunch of meds to be shipped together. The aforementioned approval and processing process screws that up. I'm done. Deactivated my account.

Allivet said my order was delivered. It was but the prescription med for my dog was not in the box. I have emailed Allivet several times and still no response and no separate box ever delivered for my dog's pain meds which he needs asap. They have the prescription i mailed in so where is my doggie's meds?

It's easy to order the RX my Best Friend, Beau needs. They offer Autoship so I know his scripts will be here in time every month.

I’ve been ordering my dogs’ medications and supplements from Allivet for quite some time, and they’ve been consistently reliable. Their pricing is competitive, orders are processed quickly, and delivery has always been prompt. On the few occasions I’ve needed assistance, customer service has been responsive and helpful. Managing care for multiple dogs can be a challenge, and Allivet has made that process much easier. I would confidently recommend them to other pet owners.

Allivet’s service level is sub par compared to Chewy. Although, they do offer better pricing & discounts at times, I’m skeptical on whether it’s worth it. Their order processing turn around time & delivery is slow. I have had to call in for every order I’ve placed. They don’t notify you regarding delays or stock issues. It is just a waiting game. Even the employees don’t seem to have a clue how to solve the problems I’ve had with my orders.

Only visit this website if you want every other ad on YouTube to be the most annoying ad ever voiced over by the worst HR lady youVe ever met. AMAZING pets deserve AMAZING things!!! I hear it several times a day. I listen to YouTube podcasts while I'm cleaning and working out and so I let most commercials play as I am busy. I get other repeated commercials that I hear a few times a week, but this one is multiple times a day. Please look at your advertising agreement with Google/YouTube.

Reckless incompetence! My dogs life relies on the medication I had on autoship with this company. I did not receive her medication on the date expected. They responded they never sent it because there was a problem with my credit card on file. First of all, there is absolutely no issue with the payment method I gave them, but more importantly, they never bothered to reach out AT ALL to let me know there was a problem. They just didn’t send it. Now I’m scrambling trying to find her medication on the island I live on. Do not trust your dogs health with this company!
