Elm Park, Hornchurch
I booked a Covid jab in Elm Park, Hornchurch for today. I took the afternoon off work to get here and so lost half a day's wage. Arrive and told me they couldn't do it as no stock. Why couldn't they have messaged me as they do when my prescriptions are ready to collect. They just dismissed me saying it is nothing to do with them. I thought they were rude, took me ages to just get an apology and they showed they didn't care. I expect better off Allied as I use them a lot for many prescriptions but the service today was incredibly useless. Asked for a complaint number they just gave me the IT number!!! Pitiful. They just didn't care. They 2 women were off no use whatsoever. Half a day's wage lost because of incompetence. Deeply unhappy.
Allied pharmacy st.johns road clacton
First visit as new to area. Prescription collection. Rude staff! Never felt so uncomfortable. Collected prescription and asked for a packet of nurofen, staff member replied oh everyone asks for those, we don't normally have any! I said well I can see them on shelf behind you to which she responded with a huff and and an eye roll. Disgusting customer service! Changed pharmacies as soon as I got home.
Allied Pharmacy now Solomons in Wilton
Allied Pharmacy, Wilton. Now known as Solomons.
Quick efficient service, Pharmacist very knowledgeable and wants to help customers. This service needs to be utilised and you do NOT have to go through 111. You will be surprised at what Solomons provide. The Pharmacist will recommend you to see your own GP if necessary but this a good starting point.
Highly recommended.
Queensway Gainsborough branch
The pharmacist who gave me my covid vaccination was unfriendly, offhand, and not at all welcoming. And, despite their having an email address, they did not reply to my emails.
Outstanding Pharmacist and staff
Our local pharmacy was called Rowlands our community did have problems with them
Then our pharmacy was taken over by Allied Pharmacies .

Allied at woodlands Yarmlane….
Allied at woodlands Yarmlane….
I have been using this pharmacist for many many years now and always great, speedy service. The staff have gone above and beyond in urgent situations over the years. All the staff also have a lovely smile and polite attitude whilst serving customer’s especially those who have been there for many years now. Christmas times, bank holidays, stressful time throughout the peak of Covid the girls always made us feel warmly welcome. Thanks to all the staff and management for being the best pharmacy in town:-)
Langley Close L12
Langley Close L12 - rude and unprofessional staff.
Allied Elm Park - Poor Service
Allied Elm Park
Since they took over from Lloyds the service has massively gone down hill. Not only do most of them have accents that i am sorry i cannot understand, but they all give different advice when you ring, one says meds ready to collect, you get there another says no not ready and make you wait 25 minutes, not accetable service. Not open on a Saturday is old school, most chemists are open late and on a Saturday. Even the GP surgery isn't impressed with their service. We are looking to change asap.
Recording of vaccinations with NHS
Grateful for advice and assistance.
We are continuing to receive NHS COVID and flu vaccination reminders as the vaccinations we had at an Allied Pharmacy on 3 October do not yet appear on our NHS records.
It would be much appreciated if you could advise how the vaccinations can be registered with NHS, or please let us know if Allied Pharmacy are unable to register vaccinations with NHS. If there is some technical issue blocking the registration of vaccinations, please let us know details so that we can inform NHS who may concerned re the uptake of vaccinations.
Allied Pharmacy Fleetwood Road Thornton is a disgrace …
Do not use the Allied chemist on Fleetwood Road Thornton which has recently opened from a converted Indian restaurant.
My husband and I both went in there today for our flu and Covid jabs and to say that we were disgusted by the state of the floor would be an understatement,
Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put carpet down in a chemist where people who are ill are coming in and could be sick on the floor needs to be dealt with. Not only was the carpet filthy and didn’t look like it had been hoovered in a month it was also a patch work of carpet pieces which have been put together so they couldn’t clearly be bothered to buy a roll fitted correctly.
Then we were called in for our jobs and the room in there which can only be described as a disused broom cupboard with equally as filthy with dirty hair on the floor the presentation was a disgrace, the walls were studding that hadn’t been finished off correctly and they hadn’t even bothered to take the stickers of the manufacturer off the boards which shows you how well put together the entire chemist is.
In the main waiting area the chairs were fabric chairs which again is not a good idea for a place that deals with sick and ill people so you cannot disinfect it. The fire alarm was hanging off the wall.
The lady who performed the injections did not wear gloves she’s been outside smoking when we arrived. I didn’t see her wash her hands between my husband and myself and she certainly didn’t wash her hands between dealing with me and the lady that was immediately after me she had a basket full of needles which she was just drawing down from an overflowing bin to throw rubbish in although at least she had a sharp bin.
I should’ve taken pictures but I was too shocked as that is not what I expect to see when I go somewhere that is supposedly a healthcare facility. I would not recommend anybody to go there. My Vets is cleaner than that pharmacy! Quite frankly it needs to be shut down and I have made a formal complaint to Allied about the standard of cleanliness which is atrocious.
It’s appears that they are only interested in as much money that they can grab from the NHS and the government which is why they have opened up a pharmacy that is not fit to be opened!
Finally the poor people that were sat in there freezing because somebody had wedged the door open to the main street with a chair.

This chemist is the worst I have ever been with ..
Every single. month I have an issue with my medication. Its Never on time. They tell me they will order it in and then they don't...They lie constantly on the phone and seem to always blame the doctors..WHY did they change the name / staff ..This chemist has really gone down hill ...I will NOT return to the circus
started to use again the Hornchurch
started to use again the Hornchurch, Elm Park branch as recently taken over from Lloyds. Sadly, the same pharmacist seems to be in control. Unfriendly and unhelpful service, no desire to serve the public. If no medicines available makes no attempt to source or advise. The staff do their best but have no support or help from the resident pharmacist.
Also, closes on a Saturday, so no service if needed at weekend.
Arrowe Park shambles.
Went to Allied Pharmacy Arrowe Park for a pre-booked and timed Covid jab.
Arrived 5 minutes before my pre-booked time to find 15 or 20 people queuing inside and outside with no sign of any receptionist or other employee to check patients in.
A real third-world experience and I will never use this company again.
