Actually Scammy

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Alder Home Craft and would not recommend them to anyone. Their repeated missed deadlines and unprofessional demeanor made the entire process frustrating. Communication was a significant issue—my texts and emails often went unanswered until I followed up multiple times or resorted to calling.

The project—a kitchen remodel—took six months to complete, even though the planning phase was already finalized beforehand. After the work was finished, there were visible footprints left on my counters that regular cleaning couldn't remove. I requested several times for someone to address this, but even after a year, nothing has been done.

The project managers at Alder Home Craft seemed unknowledgeable about the work they claimed to specialize in. For example, when I asked about resizing the counters, I was quoted an additional $10,000, which felt unreasonably high and like an attempt to inflate costs.

Unfortunately, the company appeared predatory toward homeowners facing difficult situations, as they only focus on reconstruction projects. My insurance company even refused to release additional funds after noticing padded estimates with unnecessary work.

If you're considering Alder Home Craft as a contractor—especially if recommended during a cleanup phase—do yourself a favor and find an honest alternative. My experience with them was overwhelmingly negative, and I wouldn't want others to face the same issues.
