Currenty looking at 30 hours delays if I am lucky and looking at the logs the delays I encountered are nothing unusual. The very worst. An embarassment for Star Alliance and the country. Good grief.

Worst Airline Ever!
This is the worst service I have ever received from an airlines. They kept giving me the round around, calling different departments with no answers.
First of all, the worst part was the flight attendant in Rome to YYZ. We had asked for priority exiting because we had a connecting flight to SEA (AC543). The flight attendant was aware that I was traveling with my husband who needed wheelchair assistance. She was very hesitant when I asked for priority exit and she told me that our flight was on time and that it shouldn't be a problem for us to connect and that we didn't need priority exiting. We took her word for it.
When we landed in YYZ, we needed a wheelchair. We ended up waiting for a wheelchair (approx 15-20 minutes). Which I don't understand why the wheelchair wasn't there already when we landed. Then we got transported 3x to get to the US connection security checkpoint.
At that time, our flight was already boarding! No one could find out how long the other side would take to get someone to wheel him to our gate. I had to push the wheelchair myself and it was so far to the gate and it was very confusing. I was very tired and pissed off that I was put in this situation. It shows me Air Canada has little regard for people who have disabilities. No preparation ahead of time and made us do all the run around.
We barely made the flight on time. If we didn't stop to tell an agent to hold the gate doors, we would have missed it.
My other complain is our luggage. Which you can image what happened there!
Overall AC should be ashamed of themselves!
Full day on the ground
Had an 8 o'clock direct flight from Miami to Montreal. The flight was first delayed by 8 hours then cancelled completely. They switched us for a flight with a layover in Toronto. From then on they gave us vouchers for food at Miami, but no restaurants would accept them because AirCanada was not paying the restaurants afterward. The flight from Miami to Toronto was on time, but the flight from Toronto to Montreal was delayed AGAIN. I'm currently writing this review while waiting for my plane. I have been in airports for 15 hours for a 3.5 hour direct flight I paid.
Had a horrible experience with Air…
Had a horrible experience with Air Canada. The flight was from Dubai to Vancouver. The food was disgusting. For a 15-hour flight, they serve two meals, dinner and breakfast, breakfast is served an hour before landing. There is no decent food if you want to snack in between. Only packaged food or samosa. No sandwiches or wraps. I flew in business class and it was pathetic. They need to be more competitive. My flight from Kolkata to Dubai was delayed. When we reached Dubai
there were still 15 minutes left for Air Canada to take off. We were 6 passengers for that flight but were told by Emirates that Air Canada refused to wait. There are many Airlines like Singapore Airlines or Thai Air that they need to learn from.
Call them if you have two hours to spare
Unbeleivable , no way to contact them by email, call us they say, waited on the phone for over two hours and it seems to be every time you call is the same, obviously they do not care about the bad reviews they get because nothing changes
Dubai to Toronto business class
I flew Air Canada from Dubai to Toronto in business class last week. The gentleman at the check in desk in Dubai was rude and surly. The flight was a disgrace. There was a woman in the pod behind me with a less than 2 year old child. The cabin crew fawned all over the child while she was quiet, while leaning over me to do so. The child screeched almost every 90 minutes...very pleasant experience to have in business class...and no cabin crew were making an appearance for that. I was essentially ignored throughout the lengthy flight. I got up to use the lavatory and was pushed in the side of a pod by a member of the cabin crew trying to squeeze past me.
It was, on the whole, a truly disgusting experience. I expected better from Air Canada...and "business class".
Absolutely the worst airline I've flown…
Absolutely the worst airline I've flown with. Disgrace to Canada. They don't care about the customer at all. Always long delays and flight cancellations. They always come up with the same excuse about maintenance being in their control but for safety reasons for the delays and cancellations so they don't pay any compensation.
Once they lost my luggage and then when it was found at my destination airport a day later it took them another 3 days to get my bag to me.
Time for a top down overhaul of the company and review of the way they conduct their business.
Air Canada service is terrible: Beware
Air Canada service, staff and management are terrible
My sister and her children are new in canada. They stopped at Toronto to visit relatives and move to Edmonton the forth day.
They were to pay for their luggage’s at the air Canada counter but the lady refused US dollar since that is the only currency she had. Her brother opted to pay with debt card the lady refused and said their debit card machine was not working. I sent my credit card picture from Edmonton to pay, she refused and said I must be on ground to use my credit card. She advise they live their luggage in Toronto and flew to Edmonton with no luggage.
This was a big disappointment to a new comer to Canada. We had to send the luggage through air Canada cargo with huge amount of money with unquestionable time and efforts.
The unfortunate thing was that we could not see a manager to discuss the issue with. The staff was mean and her other colleagues were not helping due to the cue . Please think twice before you book your ticket with air Canada
Budget airline
Budget airline, served very poor quality, cold food (was supposed to be hot) Montreal to Barcelona 23rd Feb 2024, other passe gers complaining too..
Horrible
Horrible. We spend 2 days with our toddlers at the airport. After sitting in the airplane for almost two and half hours they said we have an electrical problem we had to deboard 2 times. That’s unbelievable. No service, no communication no water bottles or snack or ANYTHING,
I’m no even talking about our time
Delays delays delays
Delays delays delays
Awful. How can there by so many delays and so many unhappy passengers?
Delays and missed connections ,yet premium airfare costs
Two legs with Air Canada and not sure which was worst.
Two legs with Air Canada and not sure which one was worst. First leg, LHR to BOM, the flight attendants came to take my order in Premium Economy and straight away told me that Chicken was not an option. Reason - they ran out of chicken even before the plane had taken off. Service was not great with no food for children onboard even though the 2+ year old had a full ticket.
Next, for the flight from BOM to LHR, I couldn't order chicken for my child in premium economy as they didnt have enough on board, I mean we're they expecting most passengers to eat Veg food?. Next they didn't even offer my child food, I had to ask for it.. do they expect children to not eat anything on an 10hr flight. Paying 1k pounds for each ticket for Premium get you nothing but a bigger seat, the first time they serve you is in silver ware, while the second time its regular cutlery. Premium economy is not worth it at all.
Complete lack of integrity in handling customer requests
Despite a previously very positive experience with AC in 2023 on flights from Brussels to New York, I am writing to you with great disappointment regarding my recent experience with your services. My family's booking was adjusted due to the cancellation of a flight, but the proposed alternative was completely unacceptable. Not only did the outbound flight require an unreasonable layover in Montreal, but the return flight is a complete farce. Not only were we scheduled to depart a day earlier from LAX, but we also had to endure over 10 hours of layover in Montreal on our connection to Brussels, resulting in arriving a day later. To exacerbate matters, the leg from LAX to YUL was no longer in premium economy, for which we had paid, but in economy. This upheaval not only disrupted our entire travel schedule but also resulted in a downgrade in seating comfort without any compensation. Why is it that in such situations, there's always a downgrade, and never an upgrade? After contacting your call center, I was initially assisted by a friendly lady who showed understanding for the situation but informed me that little could be done other than rebooking to other AC flights or canceling the booking entirely. She suggested that I explore the alternatives provided online by AC as replacements for its flights. I considered flights from LH, which seemed favorable in terms of timing, layovers, and were available entirely in premium economy. However, when attempting to book these flights, I received a message stating it was not possible and that I should contact the contact center. The ensuing conversation with the call assistant was downright shocking. Despite being presented with a list of alternatives online by AC, including a mix of airlines, I was told that rebookings were only possible to AC flights. When I brought up the fact that other options were available online, and my choice had fallen on LH flights, she became unpleasant and abruptly hung up. I was so taken aback by this behavior that I needed to take a moment to collect myself. Eventually, I gathered my courage and called your call center again. The third representative proceeded to suggest various AC alternatives, some with two layovers, long waiting times, and different legs in economy. When I inquired about compensation, he informed me that I was asking too many questions. He was insistent on pushing me to rebook to extremely less appealing alternatives, and as for compensation? He mentioned we would address that later. I did not agree with this and ended the call, stating that I would need to reconsider. I was truly at my wit's end, seeing my family vacation on the West Coast slipping away. Eventually, I unexpectedly received an email confirmation for the LH flights I had previously requested online, despite receiving an error message earlier. However, this did not alleviate my frustrations because upon checking the flights, I discovered that our selected family seating arrangement had been completely changed, despite the seating map of the LH aircraft being comparable to that of AC. The fact that I now have to pay extra to ensure our family seats are together contradicts the online promise of free alternatives for the canceled AC flights. This entire process not only exemplifies extremely unprofessional behavior from your staff - they lack knowledge of their own procedures, unless, of course, they have been instructed to specifically avoid rebooking to other airlines, which is equally reprehensible - but also demonstrates a complete lack of integrity in handling customer requests. I am deeply disappointed and expect a suitable resolution to this matter.
Air Canada is Amazing…
Flew AC 589 YYZ to HNL 1/19/24 and returned AC 588 on 1/28/24. Absolutely outstanding service! Flights were on time and smooth, highly experienced crew on these routes making the experience incredible from take off to touch down. Have to specifically call out the flight attendant in Premium Economy 1/28/24; though the rookie in the crew, with only 35 years service at AC, lol, she was outstanding. Overall, the service from the entire crew proved unequivocally, experience matters! Bravo Air Canada!
A Canadian Embarrassment
What a dreadful airline! This is the first time I have flown on AC and am completely amazed that a national airline could be so poor. Our flight to Toronto was cancelled and our return flight from Montreal was delayed by 5 hours. Fair enough, sometimes things happen outside the airlines control that can delay or cancel flights but there is absolutely no excuse for the appalling customer service. Staff basically could not care less about their customers and were rude and unhelpful. Please Air Canada provide some customer service training! You really need to turn around this appalling service for the sake of Canadian pride as it is currently a National embarrassment.

Been delayed so many times I've lost count. Can't be depended on to make connections and you will pay more money just to accommodate for late flights since they won't reimburse you. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Worst airline I’ve ever experienced
I am a very frequent flyer. In fact, my husband is a professional pilot. This is the WORST airline I have EVER experienced. We were unable to take a trip, due to circumstances out of our control. We were given “credits,” but when we went to tried to use them we were met with a slew of issues. We were lied to about the credit expiration date and given wrong information about multiple other aspects. We tried for two straight days, moving our destination, dates, class, ANYTHING to be able to go on a trip ANYWHERE. Customer service was HORRIBLE, we were hung up on multiple times, put on hold for an hour, given wrong information, and in the end essentially told that we had to pay an extra $1,000 to be able to use these “credits.” Long story short, we are out nearly 4K to go nowhere. Rest assured, I will NEVER use this airline again and will tell EVERY other person I know about this experience.
I would give a zero if possible
I would give a zero if possible. Air Canada used to be one of the best airlines, now they are the worst. They cancel your flights without any explanation, flights are always delayed and for the past 2 trips my luggage did not make it. They put an entire plane of luggage on the wrong plane! They currently have no idea where my luggage is or when I will get it. Customer service very rude and hung up on me. NOBODY cares at air Canada. Perhaps they should hire people a little more educated?
The last time I took Air Canada they…
The last time I took Air Canada they canceled my flight without giving a reason and without rescheduling a flight and without refund. I had to buy a ticket again at my own expense the next day and they still canceled the flight without offering a replacement flight or refund. I finally had to return from New York to Quebec by car at my own expense.
