They give out cars with hidden scratches and upon returning the cars they find scratches and extort money.

Ripoff and fraud!

Booking in Sofia airport.
But guess you can expect this crappy service internationally.

- over priced more than 3x normal price, than if you book online! (We got a fiat 500, same week online we could have paid 176€ for a mercedes Vito 9 persons, we payed 307€ all prices full insurance.
- no customer service at all!
- car didn't have the government inspection approval, over 1 year overdue! Police told us when we got pulled over!
- the founder Kristian kirchheiner, didn't even have the time to help out, though he was the only one who ever replayed.
Amazing this circus of a company have been around for 10 years!

We have used addcar in Sofia before without problem, but we had a very negative experience this time (Oct. 2020): our booking for 1 week was very cheap, but at the airport they told us that our credit card was not good - which was a lie and a scam!!! - in order to not fulfill the booking! They then offered us a new booking, with a different credit card, for 10x the original price. We then rented with a different company for 5x the price and, WHAT A SURPRISE, with the other company and the ATM, the so-called "damaged" credit card DID WORK!!! Be aware of addcar: DO NOT rent with them at Sofia airport.

two times client. both times booked a VW Golf but they did not have it. once they gave me a Jeep Renegade and the second time a Fiat Tipo. They reimburse the deposit immediately. Staff is friendly .

Last Sunday I did rent a car from addCar Helsinki-Airport and there was this guy Jesse who did give very good service and help us with child seat.

Because of a small scratch, 1800 levs were removed as a guarantee that I would contact the company through which I rented the car and disappeared. The letters are not answered. Despite the fact that all the necessary documents to the company have been sent, the money is not returned. Car rental was insured. A fraud report has been filed with the police.

The car was nearly new, cheap to rent, the staff were friendly and easy to deal with and it was only walking distance to pick the car up from Kefalonia Airport.

Evening was good. Quick response. Nice new car and nice service.

Hired a little Suzuki at Zakynthos Airport after finding AddCar through Skyscanner. Everything was really easy, great customer service, we will definitely use again!

Used Addcar for my hire Car in Corfu.
A bit convoluted, but going thru Wise Cars, to AddCar to Lord Travel, who provided the car.
Was met at the lord travel desk by Lord Car rep, who drove me to the office, where we completed the paperwork and checked over car together for damage etc.
I was asked to return car with same amount of fuel as at pick up.
Drove the two minutes back to airport picked up family and made great use of car for 12 days.
No issues at all.
Return was equally as easy, returned car to their office, a joint check over and then gave me a lift back to departure gate.

Excellent service. As I had made mistake in the dates the clerk fixed it and on the road we got. He spoke fluent english and was polite. Good cars. No complaints.

This is by far the worst renting company I have ever come across. The service at the counter was bad. Fake badge (the person was having badge "Yavor" but said his name was "Simeon"), no face masks, smoking cigarette on the way where car was located. I had to look the vehicle in the dark, with only light from a mobile phone. Because of that I could not see all scratches and dents already on the car body. When the car was returned, they blamed me for a crack in the mirror indicator (only the plastic bit) and charged me 250 Euro. Again no badge and mask were worn by the person who accepted the car. The only reason I used them was the opening hours (they have 24h desk). However, next time I will use different company even if I have to pay for getting the vehicle out of working hours

Good service in Chania Airport, Crete.
I rented a cheap car including additional insurance.
I was picked up at arrival at the terminal, and they drove me back for departure.
I needed to keep the car for a few additional hours.

We booked our rental with addCar via a comparison site. We got the vehicle at Heraklion airport, a nice Fiat Panda, leaving it at Chania airport with no issues, all worked out well. Staff was polite, they tried to sell us a full insurance but we already had our own.
Smooth and professional service.

When we took the car back to the airport Manos was really helpful and honest, happy to deal with him again.
