I was assigned a walker from hospital

I was assigned a walker from hospital. Adapt Health was the equipment company used. I received a text saying it would arrive at 11:07 am and sure enough, the carrier arrived on time and was a very pleasant representative for Adapt Health.

First Time User

Trying to adjust mentally to use of auxiliary equipment for breathing.
I was somewhat hesitant to use a piece of equipment delivered in what looked like a hospital personnal belongings bag. Regardless of supposedly being sanitized before going out to a patient I have concerns how effective the “sanitize” is. There was a EKG body patch still in place on the carrying strap.
The unit sounds like it skips a beat, the nose piece has a strong vinyl smell and the battery went from 100% to 75% in about 1 hour being set at 2% delivery.
Otherwise I am content.

Vent setup

Jennifer was exceptional on the intake and on the return with equipment, Bethany came with her, she was exceptional too. Both very professional and easy to talk with.

Excellent service

On my first phone call, Joy was patient and kind listening to what I needed for my mom's oxygen needs. Shaquille notified us of his expected arrival for tank service and left supplies as well (which was a surprise!). Excellent service! Thank you!

Nick was very patient

Nick was very patient. He answered all of my questions. He was very professional and Proficient. He understood his machines and the process and explains everything to me quite thoroughly andhelped me to feel confidence that I understood as well.

Possible Shady Business

My father needed a hospital bed and the order was sent to this company. I was told a monthly rental would be about $1100. I asked them to get prior approval through the insurance and that my father does have insurance to cover the bed. I was told they don’t do that. The people at the call center did not seem to understand. About a week later they told me his insurance is covering 80% and the monthly rental would be $10.55. I called the insurance company to verify prior approval was completed and found it had not been done. They had not received anything from AdaptHealth. I also tried to talk to someone locally. The local phone number given goes to the call center. First the call center tried to transfer me to someone locally and the call was dropped. The second time the person in the call center stayed on the line until I was connected. I spoke with a remote worker who confirmed the $10.55 rental amount and was able to also place a service order for another piece of equipment. The insurance company confirmed they did not submit a prior approval for the bed. I’m at a loss as to what to do next.

Very nice very easy process

Very nice very easy process. Explained everything quickly and efficiently and answered all questions. Definitely helps that Jasmyn is beautiful too. Makes the hospital stay a little brighter.

Kim was great

Kim was great. She explained everything about my new CPAP all the settings out to clean it all the information about it too. That’s on the back of the machine. I am copied. I’m going to get a good night sleep finally.
