Rubbish - No Help - The Acas online form filling was ok to…
The Acas online form filling was ok to use but after I filled my issue out I received an acknowledgement then I waited weeks for some help but heard nothing, no one contracted me about my employment issue. I tried phoning constantly it just kept ringing - waste of time, didn’t help me and left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
Brilliantly organised + presented webinars for the workplace
I've attended a couple webinars put on by ACAS and they have all been fantastically run, organised and communicated. They use the best webinar software - Go To Webinar. They clearly state how they will share info, slides and handouts. They also clearly state how to save the Q&A which is always popping off as attendees are so engaged.
My most recent webinar was 'mental health at work' and I learned so much useful, practical info as a line manager. Speakers were clear, factual and gave us just what we needed. No faffing about, no "can you see my slides", no mumbling, just clear, confident presentation with useful info.

Was on phone for approx 30 mins trying to get through. Spoke to a women who didn't have a clue. Asked for some information as the company I work for only paid me £11.16 an hour holiday pay, even when I haven't had a day off. So should be normal hourly wage. I asked the women at acas if that was right. She couldn't tell me if it was or if it wasn't. Another waste of an hour on the phone

In one hour a very comprehensive overview of the topic. I learnt a lot that will stand me in good stead for the future. It gave me a different perspective on what appears to be a growing problem.
Thank you to all involved in the delivery.

I attended 'Mental Health at Work' on Thursday 16 October 2025.
I found this course to be very insightful and I gained new knowledge which will further support my role as a Employee Relations Specialist.
The course setup and presenters were excellent and I have no constructive feedback to support any further training sessions. In addition, I also found this handouts provided to be extremely helpful and I have shared these with the wider team.
Thank you
Make changes to have inclusive workplaces
The webinar Inclusive workplaces - neurodiversity was important for them on the call who had little understanding or skills or empathy which was highlighted in the chat on what they need to do to help those who different than them to help every one thrive

Great learning session
The knowledge shared during the webinar was very helpful, though the time is short but well delivered
Easy to access webinar
Easy to access webinar, good flow to the session with lots of information, downloadable information and links to other documents.
Free webinar
I attended a free webinar - what's not to like?! Clear, concise and very well answered Q&A which was very helpful in itself. The Q&A as a downloadable, editable doc would be great but you can't complain for an hour of excellent, free CPD. Thanks team ACAS.
Unhelpful center
**“You should change the name from helpline to not helping ☎️❌—it really suits you. I started complaining about my employer 2½ years ago, and still I haven’t received anything from you. All this time, you’ve just been wasting people’s time and lives ⏳😔.
What’s the point of having these authorities if they don’t actually help? For telecommunications training or teaching, whenever we ask questions, no one gives a clear answer. It would be better to close this completely, because it’s not serving its purpose.
A true helpline should be helpful for people 🙏—but this isn’t.”**
Acas: The gold standard of doing absolutely nothing.
After five weeks of radio silence, my conciliator appeared out of thin air, forwarded my employer’s threats of defamation as if they were postcards from the seaside, and then wrapped it all up with a helpful: ‘If you still disagree, take it to tribunal.’
Truly inspirational. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to pay taxes for someone to act as a glorified out-of-office auto-reply, ACAS is the experience you’ve been waiting for. Five stars for commitment to mediocrity, one star because I can’t leave zero.

Webinar was at the right pace, clear speakers and useful resource links to follow up on. I especially appreciated the Q&A chat box too.
