Online transaction was relatively straight forward,however for some reason the system insured a car with a completely different number plate out of the blue.The make and model were correct,but I have never come across the number plate,which is strange and worrying.Changing it to the correct plate was easy enough,but if I had not noticed the error,I could easily have come up against the law .

My fault but what a con
I insured my car but I forgot to add the 3 points for a named driver. So they recalculated it with the correct info and wanted another £200.
So I had to cancel my insurance at £50 admin and £50 cancel fee because I was 1 day over the cancellation period because you didn’t get back to me with a price untill it had been 15days!!
Worse thing is I’ve re insured a new policy with you at the same price with all the correct info.

I didn't have a good experience with…
I didn't have a good experience with First Central. They showed me one price when I bought the insurance, but later contacted me asking for more money. When I decided to cancel, £35 was deducted from my refund. I felt frustrated and taken advantage of by the whole process. In my opinion, the experience was misleading and did not match what I was originally offered. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
