18 month 200Mb/s full fibre broadband at £27/month, with no mid term price increases, brilliant deal. I received my new router very quickly and the open reach installation went as planned, on the agre... See more

Could not get advertised speed
Excellent service
Patient, time to explain things and quick to deal with answering calls and dealing with challenges.
Broadband speed could be more steady
12 months into an 18 month fixed deal
We have been with 1pbroa4dband for over 12 months. The date of moval whent smoothly. They allowed me keep my phone number. We are on an 18 month no price rises contract which is why we chose 1p. Who wants 8, 13 & 9% increases on fees over a two year deal not us.
We have never needed tech support to date. I am wondering what will happen during the no sell period due to copper wire replacement to fibre. I have seen a slight price rise on the webpage for true fibre.
The router and allows me to add a different supplyer booster for the other part of the house.
Billing is monthly via email to remind the account holder a direct debit will be leaving their bank.
Phone calls are optional. We mainly use the phone for incoming calls for family. Caller I'd is standard.
The transfer happened easily
The transfer happened easily, the new router appears to work well and was easy to configure for several devices which needed to have fixed It's. The speed seems yo be about 20% faster than my previous SIP.
Direct phone contact with an egaged individual.
Direct phone contact with clear information and advice. Seamless installation process.
Bad experience on changeover day...
First of all on changeover day I was supposed to receive notification when the engineer had performed the changeover along with sign in details. This was not received. I had to self configure the router using my own experience. A novice would have no chance.
Secondly the service clearly states, "We'll take care of everything for you from start to finish, including contacting your current supplier to cancel your service with them."
However this did not happen leaving me with two broadband subscriptions to pay. On querying this I received this response in an email, "I can see that you have moved over to our fibre service, at the moment we are not able to cancel service with previous providers if a customer opts for this option."
So overall not a great experience and certainly not what they promise on their website.

I have been with 1pMobile for last 5/6 years and never had a problem with them, so when moving house recently i decided to give their broadband a go as my previous provider was unable to supply broadband and phone at my new address.
I advised 1p of the date I was moving in, and the line was up and running on the day I moved.
It has been a month since connection and not had any issues at all.
Overall very happy with the service.
Don't get it...have your eyes out
1pBroadband service to date
I've been using 1pbroadband for about 1 month now - the changeover process was easy - the router is not as good as previous ones I've had. Speeds and stability are good but I have some poor reception wifi areas in the house. Overall I'm pleased with the service so far.
I did not get an email to say my…
I did not get an email to say my account had gone live and when I tried to get through to tech as my router wasn’t working it took two days before I spoke to anyone otherwise you could of got 5 stars
Very happy indeed
Very happy indeed. I have transferred from Plusnet to 1pBroadband which went smoothly, with excellent communications of the process. Transfer was spot on time, the 9th October 2023. 1pBroadband is giving exactly the same speed as previous provider (66Mbps download and 18Mbps upload) but with a significant financial saving.
My router initially would not connect automatically. A quick call to Tech Support who instructed me to carry out a re set by pushing a paper clip into the re set hole and it immediately connected up online. I had another issue caused by Openreach which 1pBroadand promptly contacted Openreach to fix. Openreach had connected my phone line to the wrong phone number instead of my number. Openreach attended my home the very next day and identified the error, he went to the local exchange and my phone line was working correctly in 20 minutes.
Cannot fault 1pBroadband, Openreach could have made the error with any other broadband provider. Not the fault of 1pBroadband, their response was superb. Thank you 1pBroadband.
Great provider.
We were away when our new broadband supplier took over but there was no problem at all.
Not that impressed.
I am with 1P mobile & they been great. So i went with 1P broadband. At 1st it took 4 days to reply to an email, but i still went ahead. The changeover needed 3 calls to the help line that they advertise as 24/7, it isn't & cuts you off after one minute of ringing. Also sounds like you are talking to someone in a cave. The router they supply is rubbish & at least a 1/3 of things that worked via wifi
with my talktalk router didn't work because of a very week signal. I ended up having to buy a descent wi-fi router to solve it at another cost of £100.00.

worst experience ever had
Very happy with the service
I have been with 1p Broadband for quite some time now and haven't had a problem. I have the basic contract and have found on average, it has delivered a quite useable service and speed.
Recently I had a complete loss of my Internet connection. I phoned 1p Broadband Tech Support, and they answered very quickly. They did a check and noticed something was not quite right. They instigated a call, informing me that it would be done within 24-48Hrs. As it turned out, I tried another Modem Router, and this solved the issue, but the service engineer turned up very promptly the following morning and proceeded to carry out a very thorough check, finding a VERY OLD (1950's) setup. He also found that the landline was very noise. He corrected this as well, and the result was a much improved download speed 10--->15MB/s increase.
All I can say is, thank you 1p Broadband.
No phone line
Was going to change from Sky as price gone up at end of contract, and looked at 1P good price until I looked into it a bit more said it would give a landline but could not support VOIP which is the way everyone is going now. So I would end up with no phone line, back looking for another supplier now
Change over was good
The way the change over was great didn't have to do anything, better broadband and half the price of what I was paying.
Moving house - £200 termination!
Moving house and I cannot transfer my 1p broadband without cancelling my contract with a termination fee of £200 and then starting a new contract at my new address - I don't think so.
