I just can’t trust these people, I am still waiting on a refund.

I decided t go onto their dental plan paying 29.99 a month which was supposed to give me 2 checkups and cleans a year. I called up to make my first appointment and requested my local Oakwood practice and made the appointment. I did this well in advance so I could choose the date and time that suited me before I went away. A week before my appointment the called me to remind me of the appointment but they booked me in at the wrong practice. When I told them they had made a mistake to just about called me a liar and said I was mistaken. I was fuming at the way they spoke to me so I cancelled my dental plan and asked for a refund because I have totally lost all faith in them. After 3 phone calls and around 8 emails to them I am still waiting on my £120 refund. I am going to give them one more chance before I take steps to recover the funds legally.

I booked what was supposed to be a 6… Thank you for your response but the problem I had with the hotel was actually caused by Loveitbookit. Once you sent me the hotel information I realised it was only a 4 star hotel which was wrong

I booked what was supposed to be a 6 star cruise but the ship certainly did not stand up to this rating. I also made a point to Loveitbookit about the pre cruise hotel accommodation and asked will this be a good hotel in a good location. The hotel was not revealed to me until around 4 months before the cruise and when it was revealed I had my doubts about it which after staying in the hotel were justified. So all in all a very poor cruise and a very poor pre cruise hotel accommodation chosen by Loveitbookit

Sorry but since I have seen Loveitbookit reply I have now altered my rating to 1 start which is very poor. They are trying to defend themselves by saying the Hotel they chose was a good hotel on the V&A Waterfront, yes it’s located near the waterfront but totally isolated from the Waterfront so you can’t walk to anywhere, you need a taxi because it’s too dangerous to walk. One guest we came across had her gold necklace ripped from her next whilst trying to walk. Loveitbookit did not do their research on the hotel and its location. I did pay for an upgrade in the hotel once I saw the standard room that was offered to me but on arrival to the hotel the room I booked and paid extra for was not the room I booked. The hotel confirmed to me that Loveitbookit had actually booked the wrong room. The fact is is you have booked a 6 start cruise then why would you put your guests in a 4 start hotel ? Crazy and penny pinching. After seeing Loveitbookit response to me I am even more disappointed.

The pre-cruise hotel details were sent to you on 17th April 2025 within an updated booking confirmation, well in advance of your January 2026 departure.

The hotel is part of a well-known international chain and is located on the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, one of the city’s most popular and sought-after areas. It has also been consistently well received by our guests. We truly regret that it did not meet your personal expectations on this occasion.

In October 2025 you chose to upgrade your hotel room, and had we been aware of any concerns at that point, we would have been very happy to discuss alternative hotel options if the accommodation did not feel right for you.

With regard to the cruise, we note that you have experienced multiple cruise lines in the past. Your sailing was operated by a widely recognised, high-end luxury cruise line; however, we do appreciate that expectations can vary from guest to guest.

We’re truly sorry that this holiday fell short of what you had hoped for, and we do value your feedback.
