After getting breakdown cover with the rac it’s one of the worst things iv done and without a doubt one of the most stressful!

So this is a very ongoing story broke down in Germany had to get the car recovered back myself as they wanted to hold my car for three months. What a joke then I had to pay for my own hire car as they said, they could not find one took me all of five minutes and I had my pick of what I wanted.

Cut a very long story short. I had to pay out in a region of over £2000 to get my car home and to get me and my wife home only now literally to be told by email that I’m only entitled to £205 even though it has already been agreed that I was getting a full refund over a month ago and now they are using any excuse not to pay up ! For example I had to hire my own hire car at the cost of 500+ pounds got told to send a receipt over for what I did now I’ve been told they can’t pay it as it needs to be zoomed in on and if you think about it, what with today’s technology are you telling me they can’t zoom in on a bit of paperwork absolute laughable.

I’ve been trying to get hold of these people for various times via email and phone calls only tn be getting ignored constantly.

They even have a Facebook page called RAC. How bad are they? I seriously suggest you go on there and have a look at the peoples nightmares that they have been going through because of the RAC.

And for RAC I know you’re gonna read this and I hope you do and I’m gonna continuously post weekly updates on TripAdvisor until my case is resolved just so you know who I am is Peter Lyons registration j26PJL.

The way you handle people is an absolute disgrace and you should be held accountable for it.

DONT GO WITH THESES CON PEOPLE

DONT GO WITH THESES CON PEOPLE!
Iv had to pay to recover my own car from Germany at the cost of £1600 + vat
I had to get my own hire car @ £570 as they could Not find none available ! Took me 5 minutes and had a good choice!
They paid for mine and my wife’s plane ticket, we had to pay for our own luggage and pay to get to and the from the airport and
Home even tho it states they will
Get you home .
I had the best RAC recovery package only to be ripped off and pay everything my self and I’m out of pocket 3k . They even have a Facebook page for people who have been ripped off by them and are taking them to court. The name of the page is rac how bad are they . Loads are going to court and are winning. Please take my advice look somewhere else

Absolutely useless!

Absolutely useless!! they received my package four days ago. It’s been sitting in Coventry doing nothing now it’s been delivered to the totally wrong address and can’t chase it. I don’t know where it is now. I have to try and get in contact with a company that I bought my items from for which they have to get in contact with parcelforce and they and find where it’s gone ! Fu@king joke ! Do not use

Really nice friendly staff

Really nice friendly staff, clean and well equipped. Biggest problem is they won’t turn the aircon on and it’s like an oven in there . Many people have complained but nothing gets done ! Very disappointed

Hi Stevie, thank you for taking the time to leave us this review.

We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored.

All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes.
